Competitor changed URL. What data do I lose if I update Moz settings?
-
One of my competitor's has changed their domain URL. I want to update this in the Moz campaign settings but I get a warning that all historical data will be lost if I do.
Is that really true? I replaced one of my competitors with another for a week and didn't seem to lose historical data.
Incidentally, could this be a feature request to allow more competitors to be tracked?

Boo. I am begrudgingly marking this question as answered.
Thank you for passing on the feature request, though.

Hi There,
I hope that everyone is having an excellent day! Although, it pains my heart to say unfortunately when a competitor is changed or deleted in Moz Analytics we will no longer retain historical data.
Your best bet in this case would be to create a new campaign to track the updated competitor and just have them run side by side until you are comfortable deprecating one for the other. Although we recognize that this is not ideal for many of our awesome mozzers until we come up with a more comprehensive solution this may be the best recourse.
Also, I will be sure to let our product team now about the desire to increase the number of competitors at the our next super awesome justice league meeting.
Let me know if this helps and if you have any other questions please feel free to ask.
Have a spectacular day!

I did get the same warning.
I want to track the competitor at their new domain. But I don't want to lose my historical data for that competitor.

hello Justin,
Last time, when you changed one of your competitors with another for a week,... did you get the same warning? what exactly are you doing?

Moz Keyword Explorer - Explore by Folder
When using Moz Keyword Explorer to search for my ranking keywords is there any way to see the ranking keywords for a directory or folder on a site? For example: if a blog is located at a subdomain, I can see all the ranking keywords for the blog by selecting subdomain and searching for https://blog.example.com. However, I would like to be able to search for all of a blog's ranking keywords if the blog URL is something like https://example.com/blog/ instead. If this is not feature, can I request its addition? Thank you!

Since DA update, all H1s are lost
The new Moz errors for missing H1 tags align with the timing of the new Moz DA. We have not changed anything onsite nor are these tags implemented dynamically. Both desktop and AMP version of each page have an H1. Example page: Google Maps Marketing Google Maps Marketing to Promote Your Business Might this be a bug with the new Moz DA rollout?

Are there no tools for evaluating/recommending internal links in Moz?
Everything I've seen using Moz has been great, but there's one thing I can't figure out how to do. All I want to see is some kind of overview or display of my site's internal link architecture, but there doesn't appear to be anything like that in any of the Moz tools? Am I missing it, or do they just not have anything for that?

Moz crawler is not able to crawl my website
Hello All, I'm facing an issue with the MOZ Crawler. Every time it crawls my website , there will be an error message saying " **Moz was unable to crawl your site on Sep 13, 2017. **Our crawler was not able to access the robots.txt file on your site. This often occurs because of a server error from the robots.txt. Although this may have been caused by a temporary outage, we recommend making sure your robots.txt file is accessible and that your network and server are working correctly. Typically errors like this should be investigated and fixed by the site webmaster. " We changed the robots.txt file and checked it . but still the issue is not resolved. URL : https://www.khadination.shop/robots.txt Do let me know what went wrong and wjhat needs to be done. Any suggestion is appreciated. Thank you.
