Google Analytics Landing Page Report Discrepancy

I have noticed that when I run a landing page report and use the advanced option so I can view only the landing pages that include a particular string in the URL, have noticed that I in the report, the graph at the top will say one thing, but the data below says something else. For example, the graph for one particular search shows 200 Impressions, but the info below says 700 impressions and 610 clicks.
Anyone seen anything similar or have any ideas why?

Hi there,
Impressions data is always estimated, but Google does two different calculations for the total and each impression. For example, I'm looking at a site right now with 157,358 impressions for one day in the chart and 170,000 in the graph. Google's taking a guess at the number of impressions for the whole site, then for each keyword. The guess in the chart is just a sum for each keyword.
I've seen discrepancies much higher, especially for smaller sites. Which one's more accurate? They're both such overblown estimates it's hard to say. Google Analytics impressions data is intentionally awful. They don't want to make it too easy to parse for those who want to manipulate Google's algorithms.
If you see the same discrepancy in actual sessions, though, let me know.

I am looking at Acquisition->Search Engine Optimization->Landing Pages.
I am using an advanced search filter with a certain bit of text in the URL. As an example, the graph up top will show like 200 but the actual data below will show 530 or something like that.

What segment are you looking at?
I just tried doing the same and it shows the same data, in both the graph and the data table.

Hi Guys, I want to track email opt-ins for multiple thank you pages. Query on google analytic benchmarking report
Hi All, First I select My Industry Vertical - ABCD then I select Region - US ( all region) then size by daily session - 10000-99999 finally reports appears "Blank" but when I decrease daily session from 10000-99999 to 1000-4999 or less then report is perfect. So what does it mean? My Avg daily session is 70k to 80k. So how to analysis benchmarking in this case? Thanks!

Google Analytics - Events impacting session data
Hi Mozzers, Has anybody ever experienced event tracking significantly impacting session data? Here's a summary of what I'm finding: When I measure sessions to a particular hostname (a subdomain) in my Google Analytics report, sessions dropped by over 100% when I removed some event tracking on that subdomain (an event was triggered when a user clicked on a particular button). When I reinstate that event tracking, sessions go back up to around where they used to be. Can anybody understand why this might be happening? Thanks!

Google Analytics complexe solution?
Hello, We have Google Analytics on our website and we have started to track the conversions.

Basically we have a goal with 3 steps: Account Details (Personal Information) Confirmation (Mobile Confirmation Code) Email ( confirmation link) On the last step (Destination Goal) we send an email to the customer with the account confirmation link, the tracking works perfectly. Our problem is with the Goal Completions on "Traffic Sources" >> "AdWords" >> "Campaigns", Analytics doesn't add the conversions. This problem is related to the email confirmation? Wordpress + Google Analytics = Pulling My Hair Out
Hey Mozzers, Quick question for you- I have analytics set-up for a personal site I run and I know, verifiably it's receiving traffic, however, whenever I access my Google Analytics dashboard, it says I've had zero visits. Interestingly, today I had a colleague check the site from a foreign country and I could see the page views (within 15 minutes), however, I could not get any information about the site viewer. I have verified that the Analytics profile is 'receiving data' (which it is) and my Google Webmaster Tools is not reporting any issues? Finally, I went ahead and updated my profile so that it is pulling from 'www.mydomain.com' instead of 'mydomain.com', I don't know if that'll make any difference, but likewise, I didn't want to go and create the 'little kid in the elevator' analogy, where I'm just pressing a bunch of buttons just because they're there. So the only changes I've made thus far were deactivating Yoast's SEO plug-in and manually placing the GA code in the header and updating the 'Website's URL' in the profile settings tab of GA from 'mydomain.com' to 'www.mydomain.com'. With that, I am stumped and praying another one of the esteemed Mozzers out there may be able to help me resolve this. Any thoughts?

Regular Expressions in Google Analytics
I want to use the Google Analytics landing page reports to look at the bounce rate of top level pages excluding the homepage. So pages with urls: www.example.com/example Does anyone know a regular expression that will allow me to do this? Just to clarify I do not want to look at the bounce rate of the homepage or any pages deeper than www.example.com/example e.g: www.example.com/example/example www.example.com/example/example/example etc Thanks in advance

If I change the URL of a page, but the old page canonicalizes to the new, do I need to change my Analytics goals to get data?
I changed the URLs of some pages recently (because the same thing that affects the internal anchor text also affects the URL - grr...) but considered it not a big deal because even if I looked at the source code of the old URL, the canonical tag was now pointing to the new one. The question is - if I had URL destination goals set up for those URLs in Google Anlaytics, do I now have to change them? Or does Google somehow know that anyone getting to the new URL is the equivalent of someone getting to the old URL because of the canonical tag that exists on the old URL source code? I still do see goal conversions for some of the old URLs even since I changed them - but it could be that people are still somehow finding the old URL somewhere - or that Google only reindexed it a week or so after I made the change.
