"Fake" backlinks indentified on Webmaster tools. How to remove them?

Hi…We noticed a huge number of “fake” links to our site a couple of months ago through Webmaster Tools. After identifying that, we tried to disavow the links, but it hasn’t worked. It looks like a registered domain that has duplicated our entire site. All links are coming from worldstudy.concretecorp.com.br and when you go to it, it redirects to our site. These crazy links keep increasing (over 637,000 now!). What would be our options to get rid of them? Thanks

Hey John,
It's a negative SEO attack and as you mentioned it's already been couple of months past, you need to actively work on it to prevent further damage. I'd like to know, have you suffered from a traffic and ranking drop in this tenure? If yes, the at what rate?

You are actually in luck. It looks like the site is hosted at AWS. You can send a DMCA notice to AWS and let them know someone has copied your whole site and is hosting it with them. They should take it down immediately. The link you need is here, https://aws.amazon.com/forms/report-abuse

Backlink Building - is it worth it?
I've got a UK-based site with about 10,000 backlinks, according to majestic, and just 4 according to Open Site Explorer? Confusing! Rivals tend to have more - 28,000 in the case of our nearest competitors. So I'm not sure the best way to go about building backlinks? Or if it's worth actively seeking to build them? The index page of the site has a Moz PA of 45 (DA = 35) and I'm looking for any ways to increase these - need to get the DA up to 73 to compete with largest rivals. One of our main rivals has about 60 .edu links - would be great to emulate that, but I'm also not sure how you go about this? i.e. when you spot a good backlink someone else has, how would you begin the process of also getting that link?

Backlinks and Domain Authority
Hi there, I have a question on backlinks. I have seen conflicting stories about it, and hoping someone with a vast amount of experience will be able to help me (If you could please be so kind). Now I understand the difference between 'no-follow' links and 'follow' links. I have accumulated quite a few 'no-follow' links through things like Facebook, Youtube, Twitter etc. I understand that they won't feed my site authority or trust; or anything of that sort (I do work on content too, and have gotten a few follow links, don't worry). Now I have seen conflicting answers to the actual importance of them. Some things I have read are saying that SEs completely ignore them (NFL), and they don't even consider them a 'link', but rather a user tool to further the experience of the reader on your site. Which is fair enough, but then people are turning around and also saying that Google relies heavily on them, and they only make up 5% of the internet or something. I have even read something saying they are the only ones worth getting (I know that is bs, but they must have a reason behind this thought?). If someone could enlighten me as to a 'ideal' ratio, and also any little known authoritative sites I could look at submitting content to. I am in the plumbing business, and doing my own sites, so I'm no expert. Also, what are the importance of comment links? I don't go for them, but don't know if I should? What are "natural" links
With the recent Penguin update, I've seen this term "natural links" thrown around a lot. How do you build natural links? That to me seems like an oxymoron. If I'm building them aren't they synthetic in nature as it is? Can anyone give me a sample of a natural link?

How do I get quality, relevant backlinks?
Hi, I am trying to improve the SEO our my website which sells mens designer clothes. I know the huge value of backlinks on relevant, high ranking/authoirtive sites. Problem is how do I find these sites? I am currently using twitter, facebook and google to find relevant blogs, websites, forums etc... (ones in the fashion, menswear, designer clothing field) but it is a slow and tedious process. I there any tools, that I can use that find these high ranking sites or is it a case of me searching, searching and requesting to have an article published from blog owners with a link to one of my product pages in etc...? Any help on backlinking and best way to approach would be great. Thanks
