302 redirected links not found
-
There are so many 302 redirected links you found among which most are for the pages which needs users to login to view the pages so redirection to login page is unavoidable. For example: https://www.stopwobble.com/wishlist/index/add/product/98199/form_key/QE0kEzOF2yO3DTtt/
Also we don't have product compare functionlity, but still there are so many links from compare page which redirects to respective category page. For exammple: http://www.stopwobble.com/catalog/product_compare/add/product/98199/uenc/aHR0cDovL3d3dy5zdG9wd29iYmxlLmNvbS93b2JibGUtd2VkZ2Vz/form_key/QE0kEzOF2yO3DTtt/
We need to know from where Moz crawler is detecting these links so that we can supress them from being crawled. I already tries to review overall site and confirmed these links nowhere exists in page source or in sitemap.xml

I checked your site with Screaming Frog - the issue with the product compare is solved. There is still a problem with the wishlist.
Example http://www.stopwobble.com/wobble-wedge-white-hard-300-wedges.html - if you look at the source there are links to https://www.stopwobble.com/wishlist/index/add/product/81170/form_key/XdNIJWsLMTHVFpVh/ which still give 302
You should also correct links of type http://www.stopwobble.com/sales/order/history/ in your HTML
Don't forget that Moz Crawl is only once a week - so the errors will only disappear next crawl.

Dirk

Hi,
According to your suggestions, we removed both the compare and wishlist links, but they are still showing in the crawler results. You can check our Home page source code, you see there is no such link present. We need to know from where Moz crawler is detecting these links.
Crawler show so many links in result,
Some example of links which are listed in crawler test result :
https://www.stopwobble.com/wishlist/index/add/product/14863/form_key/bQsMmVLP9zouZbKc

Hi there
So, I would download ScreamingFrog first off, as it will give you a rundown of if these issues are internal links or sitemap issues.
It looks like the issues you are facing are internal link issues, meaning they are being picked up on your website in the menu or content. I would go through those and make sure they are updated to the correct URL. Most of theses seem to be buttons or links with the anchor text "Add to Compare". If that functionality is no longer on the site, I would remove it as soon as possible.
Hope this helps! Good luck!

Hi,
While these links may not be visible on the page itself - they do exist in the HTML.
Just take a look at the source code of your homepage & search for the word 'compare' and you'll find links like this:
- class="separator">|<a <span="" class="html-tag">href</a><a <span="" class="html-tag">="</a>http://www.stopwobble.com/catalog/product_compare/add/product/98500/uenc/aHR0cDovL3d3dy5zdG9wd29iYmxlLmNvbS8,/form_key/Vw93RYTNzbI4GGns/" class="link-compare">Add to Compare
which will be followed by bots.
You could put a "nofollow" on these links (probably the easiest solution), block /product_compare using robots.txt - or use javascript to insert the links only when users are logged in.

Dirk

CGI Redirects
Trying to 301 old legacy files like oldsite.com/green/red.cgi/blue/ using this htaccess code: Redirect 301 /green/red.cgi/blue/ http://www.newsite.com/summary-page/
Technical SEO | | SoulSurfer8
Instead it's redirecting to: newsite.com/red.cgi/blue/ FYI oldsite.com's htaccess file does not have any global 301 rules that would conflict Does anyone know if cgi files require a different 301 syntax? Thanks!0 -
Are the duplicate content and 302 redirects errors negatively affecting ranking in my client's OS Commerce site?
I am working on an OS Commerce site and struggling to get it to rank even for the domain name. Moz is showing a huge number of 302 redirects and duplicate content issues but the web developer claims they can not fix those because ‘that is how the software in which your website is created works’. Have you any experience of OS Commerce? Is it the 302 redirects and duplicate content errors negatively affecting the ranking?

Penalised due to links?
Hi, Is there a way to tell if a site has been penalised for it's links? Our site dropped last Friday, and we would like to rule out links, as we plan to move the site to our main site and re-direct the links, unless Google would punish the new url due to this. Our old site does not show any warnings for the link, and neither does our Google WM account, the only thing we have to go by is a big drop in SERP. Many thanks. Quime.

301 Redirect & Linking Root Domain Count
Howdy Mozzers! If I do a 301 redirect from a domain that say has 200 linking root domains, to a fresh domain will the fresh domain now (when updated) have a linking root domain count of 200? Also, is it beneficial or detrimental to do a 301 redirect for an unrelated website i.e. garden hose website, to a children's playgorund equipment website in order to capture the link juice? Best

301 redirect Issues
my clients site is www.greenbayharvest.co.uk When you enter that URL it redirects to www.greenbayharvest.co.uk/shop, dont ask why, thats the way they set it up and thats what im stuck with. So, how do i resolve the 301 issue here. we want all things to point to www.greenbayharvest.co.uk, in terms of SEO but does the fact that there is a redirect going to /shop make this an issue? we appear to have: www.greenbayharvest.co.uk/shop www.greenbayharvest.co.uk greenbayharvest.co.uk greenbayharvest.co.uk/shop all these URL's go to the same same page so what is the best way to correct this? thanks for any help on this Lee

Does the Referral Traffic from a Link Influence the SEO Value of that Link?
If a link exists, and nobody clicks on it, could it still be valuable for SEO? Say I have 1000 links on 500 sites with Domain Authority ranging from 35 to 80. Let's pretend that 900 of those links generate referral traffic. Let's assume that the remaining 100 links are spread between 10 domains of the 500, but nobody ever clicks on them. Are they still valuable? Should an SEO seek to earn more links like those, even though they don't earn referral traffic? Does Google take referral data into account in evaluating links? 5343313-zelda-rogers-albums-zelda-pictures-duh-what-else-would-they-be-picture3672t-link-looks-so-lonely.jpg Sad%20little%20link.jpg

Internal Linking: Site-wide VS Content Links
I just watched this video in which Matt Cutts talks about the ancient 100 links per page limit. I often encounter websites which have massive navigation (elaborate main menu, side bar, footer, superfooter...etc) in addition to content area based links. My question is do you think Google passes votes (PageRank and anchor text) differently from template links such as navigation to the ones in the content area, if so have you done any testing to confirm?
