I have a client with a wordpress.com site.

Is it possible to manage a campaign for such a site on Moz? It looks like in order to be able to add an independent Google Analytics tracking id, he has to upgrade to a business account. Does anybody have any experience with this?
-
Thanks Chiaryn! I've set it up, and will follow up with my client on the other stuff.

The traffic section is an integration that you can add to your campaign, but it is not necessary for the majority of the reports we run. Pretty much all of our reports are generated with proprietary data collected by our own crawlers and do not rely on the integration to be set up. Having a GA account connected to your campaign can certainly add color and insight to these other reports, but it is not required for our tools to run on the site.

I'm sorry, as follow up - I'm confused - from the screenshot that I attached, I was under the impression that Google Analytics was important to show traffic data? Am I missing something?
-
Thanks Chiaryn. I'd prefer to move this client off of Wordpress.com, but that's a discussion for him, not here :). Good to know - I'll get the campaign started today.

Hey Cindy, you can definitely track Wordpress sites with our tools.
You don't need to add any type of tracking code for our tools, so you can just enter the homepage URL in the campaign creation and get started from there. All of our reports are generated by accessing the site directly and crawling through the links to pages we find there.
I'm afraid I don't have any advice on the Google Analytics issue, though, since I haven't managed a Wordpress site myself. So I will leave that open to our community members to answer.
Please let me know if I can help you with anything else.

Why does Moz only seem to be crawling a snap shot of the site I am working with?
I was wondering if anyone can help? I am working using Moz to help improve the SEO on a website I am working with, the website contains thousands of pages, yet for some reason Moz only seems to be crawling a small snap shot of the website. I know there are particular pages that I had added a couple of weeks ago - about 300 in total - and none of these were showing on the first crawl, so I did another on-demand crawl and some of these showed up then. Despite this, it says it crawled 700ish pages, but there are getting close to 20-30ish thousand live pages on the site. Any thoughts and guidance as to why they crawling may be stopping?

Site with 2 domains - 1 domain SEO opimised & 1 is not. How best to handle crawlers?
Situation: I have a dual domain site:
Getting Started | | DGAU
Domain 1 - www.domain.com is SEO optimised with product pages and should of course be indexed.
Domain 2 - secure.domain.com is not SEO optimised and simply has checkout and payment gateway pages. I've discovered that Moz automatically crawls Domain 2 - the secure.domain.com site and consequently picks up hundreds of errors.
I have put an end to this by adding a robots.txt to stop rogerbot and dotbot (mozs crawlers) from crawling domain 2. This fixes my errors in Moz reports however after doing more research into 'Crawler Control' I figure this might be the best option. My Question: Instead of using robots.txt to stop moz from crawing all of Domain 2 should I use on each page of domain 2? I believe this would then allow moz and google to crawl Domain 2 but also tell them both not to index it.
My understanding is that this would be best, and might even help my overall SEO by telling google not to give any SEO value to the Domain 2 pages?0 -
Why does the MOZ bar not work on SERPs with site links?
Maybe a dumb question (am a beginner), but MOZ bar shows no information on SERP results with site links? I'm sure there's a reason? What is it?

Our crawler was not able to access the robots.txt file on your site
Hello Mozzers! I've received an error message saying the site can't be crawled because Moz is unable to access the robots.txt. I've spoken to the webmaster and he can't understand why the robot.txt can't be accessed in Moz. https://www.thefurnshop.co.uk/robots.txt and Google isn't flagging anything up to us. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Thanks

Campaign structure for seasonal client
Hi guys, I've got a very seasonal client and I'm wondering which way would be best to set up a MOZ account for them: Option 1: Multiple campaigns (Same URL, Same competitors, Different keywords) Option 2: Single campaign (All keywords labelled by season) Option 3: Something else? Thanks guys - All ideas welcomed!

Our site has been crawled several times by RogerBot but each time only 6 pages are crawled even though we have more than 100 pages. Do I need to submit my sitemap.xml to Moz?
