Indexing Issues
-
One of the main pages on my site, http://www.waikoloavacationrentals.com/kolea-rentals/condos, I have been having a hard time getting google to index it correctly or at all. It is one of the top pages on my site and should be in my sub links in google, but it is not even showing up in searches. Any input would be appreciated.
The only red flap issue is the number of outgoing links, but that is the way the page is supposed to be. I would assume most real estate listing pages are very similar.
Ultimately when you look at traffic, time on page, inbound links, etc. it is one of the top pages on my site in all those categories.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Rob,
Gaston and Andrew have already answered this question with supporting resources. But there is I good guide I came across for website Indexing. If you are still looking for solution, you may find this useful.
You can check it here - The White Hat Guide for Website Indexing
If you have already found the solution, do enlighten us with issue (and what was causing the issue).
Good Luck,

Hi Rob,
I agree with Gaston that a (technical) site audit would be one of the first things to do. In addition to Gaston's reply I can say that for example www.waikoloavacationrentals.com/kolea-rentals/condos/ (and every other piece of content) is available through 8 different URL's:
http://www.waikoloavacationrentals.com/kolea-rentals/condos/
http://www.waikoloavacationrentals.com/kolea-rentals/condos
https://www.waikoloavacationrentals.com/kolea-rentals/condos/
https://www.waikoloavacationrentals.com/kolea-rentals/condos
http://waikoloavacationrentals.com/kolea-rentals/condos/
http://waikoloavacationrentals.com/kolea-rentals/condos
https://waikoloavacationrentals.com/kolea-rentals/condos/
https://waikoloavacationrentals.com/kolea-rentals/condosFortunately you're using a canonical tag pointing out https://www.waikoloavacationrentals.com/kolea-rentals/condos/ as the main URL, however, not all of the content on the page/website is in HTTPS.
Besides that there are a certainly things to improve on a page structure and structured data level too. And on a very basic level, also take a look for example at the number of H1's, ALT texts for images and so on.
Good luck

Hi RobDanton,
Making a quick analysis I've found some critical issues:
- non-www and www redirect.
- bad/ non existent sitemap.
- many 404 errors.
- bad implementation of https (some pages have it some dont).
Make a technical audit, this Moz's blogpost might help: Technical Site Audit Checklist: 2015 Edition
Best luck.
GR.

Random important product pages dropped out of index week ending Dec 22: why???
Hello We've been around a very long time, and I have a long running pet set of core terms and pages tracked using Moz and other tools. With no changes to the content or site or htaaccess or robots.txt or sitemap, insignificant backlink changes etc, we saw a ton of important product pages drop out of the index the week ending December 22 2019. We are still ranking for many of the terms associated, but at far worse positions since the pages G is choosing instead for those terms are not as focused. I need to be clear that this has not happened across the board, but seemingly at random. When I look in G Search Console, the pages are submitted and indexed (last crawl yesterday), mobile friendly, have breadcrumbs, and the only warning are product level for lack of optional fields under offers (nothing new, not particular to the dropped pages in question here). So, what happened the week ending December 22???? Should I expect the dust to settle and the pages to return? Extremely strange. Thx

Fixing Index Errors in the new Google Search Console - Help
Hi, So I have started using the new Search Console and for one of my clients, there are a few 'Index Coverage Errors'. In the old version you could simply, analyse, test and then mark any URLs as fixed - does anyone know if that is possible in the new version? There are options to validate errors but no 'mark as fixed' options. Do you need to validate the errors before you can fix them?

Should I block google indexing "search.php"
My question is I have a search page on our website , you can search by date, number of people staying and so on, I am just wondering should block this in the robots.txt ? Because we have pretty URL'S already for searching by county and searching by towns. I cannot see any benefit of having e.g "search/search.php?sp_dateFrom=16%2F12%2F2015&sp_dateTo=23%2F12%2F2015&sec_drop%5B%5D=727&spesh_town_id=764&q=&occupants=5&bedrooms=3&submit=SEARCH#search" indexed. Would I be correct in doing this ?

Why are some of page indexed and others not
I have created a site structure like this: domain/for-sale/brand domain/for-sale/brand-model domain/for-sale/brand-model/pg1 domain/for-sale/brand-model/pg2 domain/for-sale/brand-model/pg3 etc.... I cannot understand why the domain/for-sale/brand-model does not seem to be indexed, yet the domain/for-sale/brand-model/pg6 is? This is a new site, but I cannot understand why this URL would be indexed without the others... Any ideas? My home pages has links to the domain/for-sale/brand, this page has links to domain/for-sale/brand-model1, domain/for-sale/brand-model2 etc, each of these pages have links to domain/for-sale/brand-model/pg1, domain/for-sale/brand-model/pg2 etc...
