Still no invite to site crawl beta! Why bother?
-
Well, I was informed that I was en-queue to be invited to the Moz Site Crawl v2. I have several client sites making use of SNI b/c, well... CDN's. What is the point of telling me I may receive an invitation shortly, then hearing nothing back and not being able to crawl their sites... this makes this service 100% useless as I can simply use a couple of different tools (free) to perform the same tasks... don't get me wrong... I would rather use Moz and this is not intended to flame the service as I think it could be great... if only it worked. I cannot justify the lack of response, nor the lack of service (what we intended to use here) for the price. It seems like this is simply a waiting game wherein Moz expects me to pay for this service and THEN I will receive my invite?
Is it at all possible that anyone can look into this and/or my invite status. If I cannot sample these features before long, you've lost a solid potential client. (Not my loss)

Hi there! We can definitely help you out with checking on your invite status. Just reach out to help@moz.com with the email address you registered under.
Invites do not depend on paid vs trial status. We've been adding those who signed up in batches, so it's possible we have not yet placed you in the beta, depending on when you registered! Thanks!

Site down: "high CPU usage is due to the large traffic generated from Moz
My client's site is down and the web host gives says that Moz is the reason why. "The fact that your site was limited is because the traffic generated by Moz. This is why I have suggested to block their IP addresses." Now we have unblocked the IP addresses and as you can see your site was limited again. And again the : Code: 54.224.139.99 - - [26/Oct/2017:16:00:43 -0500] "GET /amp/@Smile_Design_/@Smile_Design_/@Smile_Design_/page/2/@Smile_Design_/@Smile_Design_/@Smile_Design_/@Smile_Design_/@Smile_Design_/@Smile_Design_/@Smile_Design_/page/2/@Smile_Design_/page/2/@Smile_Design_/@Smile_Design_/@Smile_Design_/@Smile_Design_/ HTTP/1.0" 200 58551 "-" "rogerbot/1.1 (http://moz.com/help/guides/search-overview/crawl-diagnostics#more-help, rogerbot-crawler@moz.com)"

Link to Moz Pro home 404s, and then I stumbled upon Moz's staging site...
I'm wary of giving more information as it's probably best that little to no one be able to access Moz staging for one reason or another. I should also mention that this was done very unintentionally on my part. That said, from the 404 from Moz Pro home, I tried to access "My QA", and that's when I realized that everything I did thereafter was within staging.moz.com (and posted a question similar to this one). Does Moz permit access to their staging site, or did I stumble upon a mistake - or Moz-stake, if you will?

What is the difference between the "Crawl Issues" report and the "Crawl Test" report?
I've downloaded the CSV of the Crawl Diagnositcs report (which downloads as the "Crawl Issues" report) and the CSV from the Crawl Test Report, and pulled out the pages for a specific subdomain. The Crawl Test report gave me about 150 pages, where the Crawl Issues report gave 500 pages. Why would there be that difference in results? I've checked for duplicate URLs and there are none within the Crawl Issues report.

Moz crawls
Hi all! I'm running two separate campaign crawls at the moment that I'm having a few issues with. The first is http://www.muchbetteradventures.com/. I'm tracking this at root to try an pick any problems with a previous version of the site, which is on the v1.muchbetteradventures subdomain. However, I'm only seeing 100 or so pages as being crawled in Moz, compared to thousands in Google. There's no access blocked alerts in Moz either. The second is http://www.sothebys.com/. I started this crawl at root a few days ago and no pages at all have been processed. Very odd! Any advice would be much appreciated.

Duplicate Page Content Report on Moz - Still ranking in Google Results?
Hi, I am experiencing 2 issues with the Duplicate Page Content in Moz. Every week it is notifying me of new duplicate content - so it seems to be missing duplicate content each week and the crawl is never above the 5000-6000 page mark, which means that it is under 10K which is the limit, so presumably everything is crawled in that one go so surely it should detect all of the dupe content on 1 crawl as opposed to having to do various crawls to detect it no? The dupe content report shows me pages that indeed have duplicate content but after checking, these are ranking on Google for their terms... ? Is the duplicate page content report incremental ? Will it add more duplicate content and increase the report every week or does it just show that week's results? If so, it's a bit like chasing my tail... Help!
