Why Moz use mz.cm for social link ?

When you click on facebook post of Moz, the URL is domain is : MZ.CM ans after 301 to moz.com/article...Why ?

Some people shorten their links differently to make them more memorable. In the case you mention, MZ.CM is like MOZ.COM.
This is done through bitly: "A Branded Short Domain (bsd) is a the domain that takes the place of “bit.ly” or “bitly.com” in a shortend URL. Adding a Branded Short Domain to your bitly account is free of charge although you must purchase a bsd from a third party domain registrar. Domai.nr, GoDaddy, and 101domain are great places to begin your search, also visit our help article “Common Domain Hosting Providers”. Keep in mind that your bsd must be less than 15 characters, including the dot."

It seems it is their Bitly alternative. Bitly links will shorten the URLs. So I imagine Moz has created their own version with MZ.CM. Just a hunch!

How do I fix a broken link to a product category page in wordpress?
We are building a new site currently at http://67.222.109.48/~cheapnan/ I started doing some SEO after the developer I hired failed to do it even though it was in the agreement. I did our old site so I should be able to do this but I am new to wordpress. Now when i go to the products tab at the top of the page the first 2 have broken links, I checked the rest and there are 3 total that I need to fix. I am unsure how to access the navigation so I can fix the links. Please tell me where to look.

Specifically, we detected that your site may have been modified by a third party. Typically, the offending party gains access to an insecure directory that has open permissions. Many times, they will upload files or modify existing ones, which then show up as spam in our index.
Sample URLs:At that time, the site was checked by the host and site owner and any suspicious links removed. We thought the problem was resolved until a MOZ crawl on March 22 which highlighted a number of hack links again. This is the link format: http://www.mommyupgrade.com/?p=online-slots All are related to gambling, casinos and slots. To find the links, we downloaded the MOZ crawl report and found that all the links were referred from this page: http://www.mommyupgrade.com/how-to-make-rainbow-lollipop-cookies/ Searching that post shows no sign of links to the rogue pages. I would really appreciate some advice on how to find the source of these links and delete them from this site once and for all. Also, please explain how it is possible for a post or page to refer to another page without that link showing up in the code? (Is this some black hat technique that I need to know about in order to protect my sites?) Also... at the moment Google Webmaster Tools are not reporting any security issues for this site. What is your take on using Google images for blogs
In your opinion, do you think it is okay to use Google images for your blog posts as long as it credits or includes a link to the site in which you located it? We tried looking at stock art for some license-free photos and had no luck in coming up with good pictures. What rules or guidelines do you follow when looking for pictures for your customers blog (or your own)? A lot of our posts have to do with "what to do in this city" or "Where to go in this city". Do you think it's okay to use Google images for these types of posts?

Author Rank - Using the brand as the author
Hi i'm building a new site and want to start building up author rank right from the start. If you are building author rank for a brand, do you think its fine to use the brand as the actual author of the content, instead of a actual person? Or using a stage name rather then a persons actual name, and have your writers write under that particular stage name? Would love to hear peoples opinions. Cheers, Mark

If we use content copied from another site ( assuming we have not plagerized), does it hurt our Google Rankings?
We have permission from another company to copy their content and use it on our site. This happens when we are describing a manufacturer's product and we copy pages from their site and add these pages to our site in order to describe the product we are selling. Is this considered duplicate content? Can this practice hurt us?

Can you use creative commons non-commercial images on a company blog?
Does anyone know if it is okay to use creative commons images on your company blog if they are under the Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 2.0 Generic license. Technically you are using it on a commercial site, but you are not directly making money from the image or selling it.
