daily 5 backlink is good practice. i use this strategy on my all blogs. now I do this on my Best fishing kayak

Hi Sergio,
If your domain 11 months+, I would treat that domain like new. 2 links per day is way too much, unless you can send some social signals from Facebooks Ads to justify 2 links per day. I would not build more than 10-15 links in the first month.

Hi Ross
Thank you for your response, I really appreciate but my domain ain't pretty new, my domain is already 11 months+, but I haven't been building links for it, so do you think 2 daily is good for a start?

Hi there,
If you have a brand new domain then your first backlinks should go the home page of your website. You do not want to start the link building process by build building an exact match and partial match anchor texts to your blog without building some authority/pillow with branded anchor texts to the home page. Everything should look natural in Google's eyes, so you should gradually increase the number of backlinks that you build per month. 2 links per day is way too much for a brand new domain.

Backlinks and SPAM
I was doing some back link review of competitors and I have noticed that many of our competition have 300+ do follow back links from Justia.com and an additional 300+ do follow links from law.cornell.edu (they share the same database). The links on Justia are from different pages and they are all going to the root of our competitors site. So the questions are as follows; 1: For the purpose of SEO is this considered SPAM 2: If not SPAM, then does it have a positive effect on the competitions website and should I attempt to emulate for my client. Thanks in advance. -Jeff

Should you do a disavow even if you don't have a manual penalty?
If you are working on a website which has a history spammy links, but no manual penalty by Google... is it still worthwhile to still go through the link removal and disavow process? Thoughts appreciated.

Business.com - Who's stil submitting to it, and why?
If yes, is it because you believe it is still worth the cost for the link from this particular directory due to the prohibitive costs which deter low quality sites, it's review process, the high DA, or other? If you no longer submit to it, why?

Can't rank with certain keywords for the life of me
I have a website http://www.freescrabbledictionary.com in which functions as a scrabble dictionary lookup and word finder for scrabble. There are many keywords that rank well for this niche but the main ones I target are Scrabble Dictionary Scrabble Cheat Scrabble Word Finder Scrabble Help I used to rank well for all these keywords, I am 4th with scrabble dictionary currently but with the other 3 am no where near the top. On March 24th I dropped off the map for scrabble cheat, scrabble word finder and scrabble help. I actually dropped to 9/10th for scrabble dictionary on that date as well but since then I have been able to hold on steady to 4th. I can't figure out why I can't rank for those other keywords anymore. Its almost like Google has penalized me for those keywords. I have contacted Google a few times to ask if I have any penalties and they have told me that I don't. Even though in my backlinking I have targeted these keywords I can't seem to rank for them no matter what I do. The only idea I have come up with is that Google has re-associated those other 3 keywords in a group and separated scrabble dictionary on its own. I have other sites I have created in the same niche and I have noticed if the URL contains "word", "Finder" and/or "cheat" I can rank in the 3 keywords within about a week all the way up to the second page. My main site FSD has the highest DA and PA compared to my other sites. Any idea why I can't seem to rank for those other 3 keywords anymore?

Outbound links and their pro's and con's
So I was wondering if there was a general consensis regarding the amount of outbound links you have coming from your domain to other domains and if there is a correlation between the more you have going out, the more (for want of a better word) damage you can do to your domain. EG: is a site with good domain authority better to keep the short leash on handing out links to external sites? Does this make the link juice from the site more valuable?
