To increase the Domain Authority (DA) and Page Authority (PA) of your website, which already has good speed, is user-friendly, and offers speedy and handy tools, you can focus on the following strategies:
1۔ High-Quality Content: Regularly publish high-quality, relevant content that provides value to your target audience. This can include tutorials, guides, blog posts, and tool updates related to file format conversion.
2۔ On-Page SEO: Optimize your website's on-page elements, including meta tags, headings, and image alt text, using relevant keywords related to file format conversion, such as "convert to WebP," "convert JPG to WebP," etc.
3۔ Off-Page SEO: Build high-quality backlinks from reputable websites in your niche. You can do this by guest posting, participating in industry forums, and reaching out to influencers for collaborations or mentions.
4۔ Social Media Engagement: Increase your presence on social media platforms to drive traffic to your website and increase brand visibility. Share useful content, engage with your audience, and encourage social sharing of your tools and articles.
5۔ User Experience Optimization: Continuously improve the user experience on your website by optimizing site speed, ensuring mobile responsiveness, and making navigation intuitive. This can help reduce bounce rates and improve user engagement, which are factors considered by search engines.
6۔ Technical SEO: Conduct a thorough technical SEO audit to identify and fix any issues that may be affecting your website's performance in search engines. This includes fixing broken links, improving site structure, and implementing schema markup for rich snippets.
7۔ Monitor and Analyze Performance: Regularly monitor your website's performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console. Analyze key metrics such as traffic, bounce rates, and keyword rankings to identify areas for improvement.
By implementing these strategies, you can improve the DA and PA of your website, which can lead to higher search engine rankings, increased organic traffic, and ultimately, more conversions.

Hi,
As per my knowledge, Domain Authority (DA) and Page Authority (PA) are metrics developed by Moz to assess the credibility and influence of a website or a specific page. These scores are based on various factors, and while they don't directly impact search engine rankings, they can be useful indicators of a site's overall SEO strength. Here are some strategies to help you improve your DA and PA scores:Here the few important factors mentioned below:
-
Content: Create valuable, updated content.
-
SEO: Optimize tags, images, and speed.
-
Backlinks: Get quality links, use internal links.
-
Social Media: Stay active for traffic.
-
User Experience: Design for users, reduce bounce rates.
-
Moz Metrics: Improve MozRank and MozTrust.
-
Consistency: Implement and monitor consistently.
Keep in mind that DA and PA are just a few of many factors that influence your website's overall performance in search engine rankings. It's crucial to have a holistic SEO strategy that covers various aspects of optimization. Additionally, these scores may vary between different SEO tools and are not the only indicators of a website's success.
Remember, improving DA and PA takes time, so be patient and stay consistent with your efforts.

It's not uncommon for website metrics, like Domain Authority (DA), to fluctuate due to various factors, including changes in search algorithms, competitor activity, or even the recalibration of the metrics themselves. To address this, it's crucial to focus on a holistic approach to improve your website's performance. Regular off-page activities are valuable, but consider enhancing on-page SEO, creating high-quality and shareable content, and ensuring a strong backlink profile. If you're seeking professional assistance, our Bellevue SEO company can provide tailored solutions to boost your website's overall health and visibility, potentially leading to an improvement in DA over time.

You can increase your DA PA score by making the backlink from the trusted site to your homepage. I did this for my website: Cooking For Profit and got the high DA and PA scores.

Hi there,
The fact that your DA did not increase in the last months is not an issue. There might be a lot of reasons why that happened, im listing just a few (it doesn't that's your case):
- No better links added
- The total sum of authority on links added and on links lost is zero
- The entire ecosystem gained authority and there is no net increase
As always, I'd strongly suggest you and everybody to dont worry that much about increasing any private metric (DA, PA, DR, TF or whatever) but focus on creating great content and if linking opportunities come, be sure that those links come from high quality and topic-related websites.
Regarding linking to the first or to other pages, I did not fully understand the questions. But if you meant about pointing links ONLY TO THE HOMEPAGE, you shouldnt do that unless that's your only important page.
In an ideal scenario, you should have external incoming links to almost every page in your website.Hope it helps,
best luck.

Hello and kind regards;

Hi everyone,
I'm replying just to add that, improving your PA/DA metrics wont assure you better rankings. Moz's metrics are mostly calculated through link metrics. I'd suggest you, as Mª Verónica did, to focus more on improving your onpage, content and technical stuff rather than some private metrics.
That's one of the main reason, I guess, why Mª Verónica gave you some advises looking at your website.

Hi,
Hope this enlightens the main issues regarding on how to improve DA and PA.
First, about the inbound links; although you have 18 domains pointing links to your website, 12 of the 18 domains had set the links as nofollow: https://analytics.moz.com/pro/link-explorer/linking-domains?site=https%3A%2F%2Fpickhunting.com%2F&src=mb&state=not_deleted&target=domain&type=nofollow
The website has 22 page titles equal to each H1. It is a best practise to include the Brand at the end of the page title. Why at the right end? Brand matters a lot, but first the name and keywords that tells the potential visitors and to the algorithms of the Search Engines what each page is about. At the same time, by including the brand into each page title, you will differentiate the page title from the H1 as it should be.
If somebody is looking for your brand, that action does not need SEO, due to already knows about you. SEO is for new searchers looking for your products and/or services.
Page title: About | Pick Hunting
H1: AboutMaybe, you can set up unique meta descriptions for each page. Perhaps using the free Yoast plugin can help with the task. Good luck and Happy New Year 2020!

Odd. Unique seo question - Can you help?
This should be an interesting question - gobble up all those MOZ POINTS folks : ) Our company website is real estate based. We have nearly 30,000+ paid members on the inside that put up real estate listings (properties for sale). The members do this on their own. From an SEO stand point it sort of feels like we have a huge team of content creators putting up unique content for us. To see what I'm talking about I'll drop some links so you can review: In this first link you'll see a member of ours advertised on the NYTIMES and the clickable anchored text waterfront leads back to us or I should say the members listing. See the link below: https://www.nytimes.com/2015/09/13/realestate/city-island-a-quainter-side-of-the-bronx.html This second link is the listing page for our member that the anchored text led to. https://www.nystatemls.com/profiles/NY/SAINT_ALBANS/NEW_YORK_ESTATES_GROUP_INC/Dale_Davids/68966/listings/ When I use MOZ i can see that we got some serious link juice from the above. **This is what is happening naturally: ** When someone joins as a member the public profile of their name & office is ranking in the SERPS. Example: Higgins Realty / it's ranked #1 and brings back 100 visitors per month. https://www.nystatemls.com/agency/NY/BROOKLYN/HIGGINS_REALTY_GROUP_LLC/5575/ When someone creates a listing with our system and publishes it the address is ranking. Think of this on a mass scale. Even though they are small niche names, offices, keywords it's generating traffic. & every once in awhile the name of an office is closely related to a major keyword and we pick up something that generates say 500 to 1,500 visitors per month. When someone advertises their public profile or their listing depending on the site they advertise on or the anchored text they use it's helping our domain. Again, all of this is happening on its own we aren't pushing SEO. This simply is real estate agents and brokers doing their job and in return our Domain Authority and Page Rank is climbing. Our monthly traffic is climbing. The number of keywords we rank for is increasing. This situation must be unique because wouldn't you say that in most cases with a website they have a blog. Someone needs to write good content then try to get it linked. But in our situation our members are creating (unique content) and publishing it. How do we capitalize on this though? or I should say capitalize in a bigger way? To help everyone benefit would it be to possibly teach the members some basic SEO. What if the name of their public profile was key worded or what if we explained advertising that listing, Sharing it, getting it on other sites would benefit them. To have them link back to their profile or listing page. Maybe give them a list of suggested sites? Maybe give them a list of possible anchored texts they could use which would be keywords we want to rank for? What are your thoughts? Do you have any clever or creative ideas that would help all parties? If you want to do some research our main website is www.nystatemls.com you can review the ranking keywords, linking domains that sort of thing. Thanks for the input - Chris After

Can a company group have reciprocal links on their company websites without being penalised by Google?
A client which is part of a group of businesses all within one industry but have different purposes has come to us aith a "brilliant idea" that they all have a blog on their website that links to every business within their group. We are pretty sure that this will be seen as "black hat" by Google, but just wanted to see what you all thought? Thanks!

Links from Directory Websites with NoFollow Tag
In reviewing our root domain links, I noticed that many of the directories (like Yellow Pages, Insider Pages, Merchant Circle, etc) that there are no follow codes included in the link to our website. Is this a common practice for these directories? Also, I wanted to confirm that this would not help in our link building strategies with any relevant "link juice." Below is a copy and pasted (with some extra characters that shouldn't have copy and pasted), but the key note here is the no follow tag that was included in this link to our site. Visit Website Thanks as always MOZ Community - cheers!

Mutliple language website with same keyword for different language
Hi you all, how are you? I'm having a problem with a new client. His website is multilanguage, and he wanted to position his website in Google US, Google Brazil and Google Argentina. The problem is the following: the client is an hotel chain, and for every hotel they own they have an internal website. Because each internal website is well optimized for the keyword that include the city the hotel is in, now the page is decently positioned with the internal pages, not the home. This is fine by me, but here is the problem. Each language (es, en and pt) ranks better in each country. How would you exchange links? Because I have, for each keyword, three websites, each one in a different languages. Coul you give me an idea with this? Someone has experienced the same thing? Thanks!
