-
Hi mozzers,
I am trying to develop some real online marketing strategies for my clients. I am really looking to build some great content that will make my clients, users, and the search engines happy! But for that, I need some guidance and was wondering if you had any suggestions for a book(or any other useful resources) that focuses on how to develop a great online marketing strategies?
I saw this book but not sure who this guy is: http://www.amazon.com/Web-3-0-Startups-Strategies-ebook/dp/B00BYZB68U/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1365798109&sr=8-3&keywords=online+marketing+strategy
Thanks

I can really strongly recommend "Optimize" by Lee Odden. It focuses on the integration of SEO, Social Media and content marketing when creating a web marketing strategy. Personally, I feel this integrated approach is the only way to go for modern web marketing.
You say you're "more of an SEO person", Taysir, but you do say you're interested in developing great online marketing strategies. If that's the case, you're going to need to get beyond just SEO pretty quickly, as it's just one tactic in a true online strategy.
There are a huge number of excellent books on each of the tactics that make up a good strategy, but I recommend this one as a strong introduction to the process of understanding the individual tactics and how they blend into a broader strategic approach to getting more business on the web.

Thank you Dana!!
The first one focuses mainly on social media, is that right?
I am asking because I am more an SEO person and even though social media is becoming more and more important in the SEO world, would you still recommend this reading?

I highly recommend Brian Solis' book "Engage" - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0470571098?ie=UTF8&tag=pr200f-20&link_code=as3&camp=211189&creative=373489&creativeASIN=0470571098
It's brilliant.
P.S. Also David Meerman Scott's "Real-Time Marketing" http://www.amazon.com/Real-Time-Marketing-PR-Instantly-Customers/dp/1118155998/ref=sr_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1365800642&sr=1-3&keywords=david+meerman+scott

SEO Agency with experience in the loyalty rewards marketing space?
Looking specifically for an SEO agency that has experience doing SEO work for businesses in the loyalty/rewards market space. Brands that occupy this space could include Swagbucks, eBates, PCH (Publisher's Clearing House.) I've looked at the sample clients page of MANY agencies, but I never see any of these types of businesses being featured. Thank you so much for your help!

How would you go about influencer marketing in the b2b space?
Hi Mozzers, I have conducted some b2c micro influencer marketing campaigns in my previous gig by reaching out to blogger and having them promote some content we created. I am now working in a Fintech company (b2b) and would like to get a few ideas on how can I leverage the influencer marketing channel within the Fintech industry. Can you share some ideas on different b2b influencer marketing strategies? What are good processes to follow besides cold email, meetups, events? Any influencer marketing softwares you have used and recommending it in that space? Thanks!

Online SEO staff Tests
Hi, I've got a number of staff in the office that I am trying to get to learn SEO. I want to be able to test them on their ability and have already set them the SEOMOZ test: http://www.seomoz.org/seo-expert-quiz . Does anyone know of any other decent online SEO tests I can set them - I haven't really got the time to develop a test myself, so I am looking for some pre-build online testing. Thanks

Schema, RDFa or microformats? Which is best for long-term success in a competitive market vertical?
I've read statements compelling one to think about Schema as a "sports car" and RDFa (and microformats) as a diesel truck... both having merit depending on what you want to do. Although Schema was just announced and seems to have broad support - is it compatible with RDFa 1.1 syntax? I've utilized microformats on a few site with great success but embarking on a very large project and feel structured markeup would give an edge over the competition. Would love to have a discussion with folks on this subject. Thanks!

Title Suggestions for my New Book?
Hi mozzers, I'm busy writing an ebook that's going to be published around July time. The book focuses on SEO and Social Media with it culminating in a look at how they are becoming more and more overlapped. The book is going to be targeting traditional business people who have very little (or no) inbound marketing experience. Any thoughts for a title would be great! Be as whacky or as reserved as you like, it'd be great to hear any ideas you have 🙂 Nick
