Are we penalized?

Thanks for taking the time to reply on the previous question.
For discussion, do you experienced any drastic changes on your target keywords these past few weeks? Penguin 2.0 and Panda are still on a multi-week rolling update according to Matt Cutts. Feel free to share. Thanks.

First thing to check is your messages in webmaster tools. If its a penalty Google will communicate that to you through here and let you know the type of penalty. Then you can look into fixing it.
If its an algo related drop then as has already been mentioned, we would need a little more info to do some digging.

Yeah not to get preachy here but this is something I notice often on this forum. People come and say "why is my site _____" or "am i being indexed?" or whatever and it's impossible to say without any information other than the question being posed.
It's like calling up an auto mechanic and saying "hey my car stopped working can you tell me how to fix it?" and expecting an answer without further details.
Anyway I'm sorry don't mean to jump on your case just trying to help others further on that make the same mistake.
What I notice is that the people who provide more information in their Questions get better Answers and more help.

Back to Jesse's C-Did you analyze your link profile? Did you pay for any links? Are the Press Releases of good quality? It's really tough to diagnose without more info. It could be related to an algo update, penalty (hidden text, thin content, link farm), canonicalization issue, server issue and so on.

Publishing press releases is essentially expensive black hat in this day and age. That's not going to help you. Probably won't destroy you, but might knock you over the edge if you were on the verge before.
Sounds to me like you were penalized but I'd have no way of knowing without:
a.) your domain
b.) your targeted keywords
c.) your link-building history (what do you do to build links?)
What I can tell you is that's a hefty drop and the algorithm is updated all the time.

Unsolved Link Tracking List Error
"I have been maintaining 5 directories of backlinks in the 'Link Tracking List' section for several months. However, I am unable to locate any of these links at this time. Additionally, the link from my MOZ profile is currently broken and redirects to an error page, no to Elche Se Mueve. Given the premium pricing of MOZ's services, these persistent errors are unacceptable."

Unsolved Site Crawler not working but on-demand crawler working
Hi, In Moz pro, when using Site crawler (or recrawl), we are seeing message site is banned. But when using on-demand crawler, it could generate report successfully. I just like to know if in both these cases, it is roberbot that is used! And kindly note, site crawler was perfectly working before. So the required setup is already in place from long time. Site crawler ban issue started appearing from nov/dec 2023. . Could you please us understand how could we possibly make site-crawler work?

Site is penalized yet Google WTC and SEOMOZ says it's ok!
My first question on this community.. A high traffic site of mine has been severely hit for over two months. I took a look at GWTC and noticed a lot of suggestions on the HTML suggestions tab, where I believed that one or a combination of these errors/notices might been causing the penalty. At the moment of typing GWTC shows no HTML suggestions and minor meaningless crawl errors. Checking on SEOMOZ reported issues, I see zero errors except for a high number of duplicate page titles resulting from tag pages being accessible in the same tag title in paginations (tag.html?page=x) which can be fixed easily by using rel=canonical but I just know it can't cause such penalty. For reported warnings, site has a decent amount of title element being too long and missing meta tag description tags. I have been very active in the past with 301 inner pages of the site to make pages URLs as unique as possible and results were great, but that was long time ago before taking the hit. The penalty the site suffers from is zero rankings for newly added contents and old contents as well. It has also lost all rankings for its money terms. Site is not banned and still ranking top for its name which is a good thing. I am not sure where else I should be looking and will appreciate any good advices. Thanks!
