The first 5 or what? How many words in page title = revelancy for onpage seo?
-
I don't know I. I don't have a description.
-
It depends whats in the content of the page. All words will count, but as some others have said you could be diluting by putting too many in there.
Don't stuff, make it readable, make it likeable (from a customers perspective) and choose your title carefully.
Make sure it is relevent to the page content, otherwise you are taking 2 steps backwards.
Keep it to one or two main keywords per page.
-
Keyword - brand
or
Brand - Keyworddont keyword stuff, also i believe that your keyword is diluted if you have too many words. if your keyword is 2 words and the title is 3 words, then you are using 66% of the toitle, if you have 10 words then you are only using 20%. Keep it short
Having a long spamminfg title will not help you get conversions either. People like a nice neat to the point title to click on. -
I personally use only the first 2-3 words in the title tag for on-page optimization. After that the keywords are to diluted to count - but this will depend a lot on the competition, content and other signals. I usually use the first 2-3 and the rest is 100% for users to increase navigation feel and CTR not for engines.
There are cases I use deliberately titles longer then 70 chr if the user will benefit from that title.
I am also 100% against a keyword metatag like flow within title: keyword1, keyword2, keyword 3 and so on.
Anyway, is just an opinion.
-
You only want no more than 70 characters. You also want a meta description, keyword aren't really useful.

Seeking Advice on Improving On-Page SEO for my Website
I'm looking for some expert advice on improving the on-page SEO for my website, CCTV Camera Installation. Despite following best practices, I feel that my site isn't performing as well as it could be in search engine rankings. Here are a few specific areas where I'd appreciate some guidance: Content Optimization: I've ensured my content is keyword-rich and valuable to my audience. Are there any advanced techniques or tools that can help further optimize my content? Meta Tags and Descriptions: I've written unique meta titles and descriptions for each page, but I'm unsure if they're as effective as they could be. What are some tips for crafting compelling meta tags that improve click-through rates? Internal Linking: I've set up a basic internal linking structure. How can I enhance this to better distribute link equity and improve user navigation? Page Load Speed: While my site's load speed is decent, I'm aware that even minor improvements can have a significant impact on SEO. Are there any specific optimizations or tools you recommend for speeding up my website? Technical SEO: I've covered the basics like XML sitemaps and robots.txt files. Is page speed important to improve SEO ranking?
I saw on a SEO Agency's site (https://burstdgtl.com/search-engine-optimization/) that page speed apparently affects Google ranking. Is this true? And if it is, how do I improve it, do I need an agency?

To create extra pages, or not to create extra pages?
I'm responsible for a site where we cater for all kinds of medical & legal problems. I recently conducted keyword research that shows a lot of questions being 'asked' in relation to the conditions we cater for. Naturally, I want to create content to answer these questions. We have a page for 'Cancer compensation' - the 'possible content' that answers questions won't necessarily help someone claiming compensation for cancer mistreatment, BUT someone who asks a question relating to cancer, answered in the 'possible content' may find the 'cancer compensation' page useful. SO! Do I: Add this content to the existing 'cancer compensation' page? Create individual pages of content answering each question, linking to the 'cancer compensation' page? or do I amalgamate all the answers into one heafty 'resource' page that sits elsewhere on the site? What do you think? Thanks in advance. John King

Moving Top rank Page urls off my Home page and nesting them on one page? Good idea?
I am basically trying to cut down the amount of links on my home page to make it less eye boggling and move stuff around. So i have of my Urls on my home page that lead to pages that rank very well within google. My questions is can i remove those urls to a separate page to group them together and then showcase that one link to that page on my home page. Is that a good idea or i am going to loose my link juice and position in search? The physical urls on those pages wont change at all.

Blog page outranks static page for KW -- why?
Blog page ranks 10 in Google, while the static page is on page 7. What makes it more interesting is that the blog page scores an "F" with the Term Target tool while the static page scores an "A". Static page has more inbound links and a mR/mT of 3.89/ 4.54 vs. 3.71/ 4.14 for the blog page. Any ideas on how to approach this one?

Why home page ranks higher than keyword-optimized page
We have a page that is optimized for the keyword "job scheduling". A search on the keyword "job scheduling" results in this page not ranking at all, while our home page (uc4.com) ranks third. Could you provide some ideas/suggestions as to why this would be the case and how to make our job scheduling page rank higher? Thanks, claudia
