Crawl Diagnostics: Exlude known errors and others that have been detected by mistake? New moz analytics feature?
-
I'm curious if the new moz analytics will have the feature (filter) to exclude known errors from the crwal diagnostics. For example, the attached screenshot shows the URL as 404 Error, but it works fine: http://en.steag.com.br/references/owners-engineering-services-gas-treatment-ogx.php
To maintain a better overview which errors can't be solved (so I just would like to mark them as "don't take this URL into account...") I will not try to fix them again next time.
On the other hand I have hundreds of errors generated by forums or by the cms that I can not resolve on my own. Also these kind of crawl errors I would like to filter away and categorize like "errors to see later with a specialist".
Will this come with the new moz analytics? Anyway is there a list that shows which new features will still be implemented?

Hey there,
Thanks for the question. Unfortunately you won't be able to have specific errors filtered out from the Crawl Diagnostic.
Your best bet is to start using the CSV files and generate your reports and sprints that way using Excel or whatever spreadsheet program you use.
You may also want to suggest this in our feature request forum here: https://seomoz.zendesk.com/forums/293194-Moz-Feature-Requests to start a dialogue with my Product Team.
Thanks!

We don't have a way to exclude that at the moment, but I believe it is on our future feature list. I'm having someone from the help desk step in and offer more information.

sorry but this is not very tricky and won't help at all

I don't see a feature like that; you can download the report as an excel file and make your notes there. I don't know of a list of features.

Issues with Crawl Test and SSL Certificate
So I have having issues with the Crawl Test being able to crawl my site accurately due to what the tool is saying is a "SSL Certificate Error" (804 : HTTPS (SSL) error encountered when requesting page.) Only thing is that I have no warnings about this SSL issue in Search Console and when I check the SSL on https://www.sslshopper.com it comes back just fine. Anybody know why this might be happening or have encountered this issue before?

MOZ Freshweb reported mentions that really does not contain any mention - anyone else experiencing this?
MOZ Freshweb reported links from "traffic.fullcontentrss.com" that doesn't really contain any mention. Is this a MOZ error or is it maybe since fullcontentrss.com has a javascript that pulls data into their own RSS, MOZ ended up crawling partially and as a result not reporting the correct URL? Anyone else experiencing this anomaly?

Weird 404 in Crawl Diagnostics
I'am getting a lot of 404 errors (196 to be precise ) - but their pattern is weird.
Moz Bar | | oorbo
The page that the crawler is trying to find is (e.g):
http://www.oorbo.com/item/asufa-israeli-design-shop**/www.oorbo.com.
the linking page is** http://www.oorbo.com/item/asufa-israeli-design-shop meaning it adds to the end of the link the root URL - /www.oorbo.com. This happens in all 196 cases - trying to find a page http://www.oorbo.com/some-page/www.oorbo.com from a refferer page http://www.oorbo.com/some-page. Obviously this pages do not exist, and it's getting a 404. I've look into the pages themselves and digged into their code - It doesn't seem that the bad link is any where on the page. Did anyone came across this kind of issue? any one can point me to a solution ?0 -
Conversion tracking within Moz reports?
Hey guys, Quick question and apologies if this has been asked before, but is there an option within MOZ reporting (Pro) that allows you to focus on conversions for your clients? I'm finding rankings to be a very poor indicator of success. I'd much rather focus on conversions, and present this information to the client within my reports. Thanks

Moz Crawl Report showing non-existent Duplicate Errors since new reporting layout
Hi Moz Community, Since Moz changed to the new style of Crawl report, we've seen a jump in duplicate errors for our site. These duplicate errors do not exist and were not present on the Crawl reports before the report change and also we have not made any changes to the flagged pages on our site since then either. When you download the report data in csv it appears that the Moz report is mixing up data for two or more pages on the site. e.g.in csv for 'Page1' data, it will show the meta description for 'Page2' and 'Page2' shows that for 'Page1', so this then gets flagged as duplicate, however looking at the actual Meta description assigned onsite, both Page 1 and Page 2 are completely unique. Has anyone else experienced this and Moz Team - are you looking into this? Thanks, V

Moz ranking report shows massive loss in Bing SERP's. But it is not the case?
My weekly ranking report shows massive loss of SERP's on Bing. For most keywords I was no longer in the top 50 which where first top 5. But when I checked it out for myself, I'm still ranked top 5 for these keywords. I then used the Moz Rank Tracker and there it also says I'm still ranking top 5 for these keywords. What should I believe now?

Why does Moz Analytics drop my Google Analytics connection every time I login?
I get the following message every time I check the Moz Analytics dashboard on any of the sites I manage. It seems like a bug in the system. Does anyone know how to fix it? "We lost connection with your Google Analytics account. Don't worry — you won't lose any data. Please reauthorize now."
