Feedburner.com is it beneficial?

I am wondering what is the advantage of submitting my blog feedburner.com. Does this just provide more opportunities to havd my posts reach readers? Or is there indexing or link opportunities there? Thanks for the feedback.

I really like feedburner and so far I haven't seen any negatives with using it. I really like the stats that they give.

I use feedburner. It allows people to subscribe to the feed from my blog by RSS and email.

Google owns feedburner.
I can't speak from personal experience, but I have to think publishing on feedburner will help your content be indexed. I would highly recommend testing it.
Feedburner does have an established user base and is searchable as well. It seems like a great opportunity for exposure.
With the above noted, you ultimately want to offer great content on your site and have users come to your site for everything. The reality is RSS is available from almost every major site, and readers have the ability to set up a RSS feed for your site even if you don't set one up and do not want to allow it.

Some people argue that it's better to host your own feed, but I like Feedburner as has some good customization options, gives you access to some nice stats as well as giving potential subscribers a number of ways to subscribe to your feed.

Guest Posts on Established Blogger/Wordpress.com sites
How much value do you put on guest post opportunities on blogspot.com or wordpress.com sites (or similar). If the blog is established, gets good readership and traffic, do you consider it to be as useful as a privately hosted blog? Optimizing YP.com and Yelp listings for local business
I have a fairly new business and I have been citation building over the past year. I noticed that when I perform a search for my keyword and city that YP.com and Yelp show up high on Google SERPS. I have a listing on both of these directories but my listing is unfortunately buried. I have optimized my listings on these sites to the best of my ability. I have not upgraded to paid advertising on either. It's expensive and I here mixed reviews on the ROI. How do paid directories like thomasnet.com do so well in the serps? Aren't the Panda updates supposed to be moving us away from this?
With all of the updates/changes to Google's algo, I assumed that paid listings & links like those on thomasnet.com would have less merit. Is this an incorrect assumption?

Brandpoint.com
We were recently made aware of brandpoint.com. They produce content and guarantee the content will be listed on a minimum of 600 websites that they have agreements with. This includes the LA times and others. Their agreements state that the content will be a maximum of 2 clicks from the homepage and will live for 1-2 years before getting archived. Does anyone know anything about this company and/or the overall strategy of achieving links on these highly trafficked/valued sites through articles? Will these links help us or is this similiar to sending out a press release on prweb where you get picked up by benzinga and other sites automatically and the value for the links isn't really there? Any insight you can provide about this company and or strategy would be most appreciated.
