Google Adwords Offered to Redesign My Website & A/B Test... Thoughts?

I received a call from the Google Adwords team today offering to redesign major pages of my website & A/B test their design against mine.
The rep said that this is not a standard service they offer and that we had been "selected".
Despite it's overt marketing overtones, I would hate to pass by the opportunity to apply Google's conversion insight to my site.
Has anyone experienced this before? Good experience? Bad experience?

It's Google.
I've worked with the AdWords team before and they are verifying/accessing back end AdWords & Analytics data that only they would have access to.
Still curious though... has anyone ever taken them up on something like this? Did you have a good result?

I strongly agree. These guys call me a lot.
When google calls they use the word "google" once - and without panache. When these guys call they use the word google multiple times in a way that bends the ear. Honest.

I would just verify that they are actually from Google. There are some firms out there that represent themselves as Google when they are not. So verify and then trust.

Yup Google offers to help websites all the time. They've been known to reach out for everything from getting a publisher to help with beta test widgets or adsense to something more custom like this. I suggest you give them a try and see if it works for you.

I do know that, occasionally, Google will be very helpful to individual webmasters.
If this is really a person from Google, I would grab the opportunity, because it might be very beneficial and lead to additional help in the future.
But, I would want to confirm that this really is google. Can you reverse look-up their number, or did they send you a follow-up message by email from a google address?

App Store Optimization - Google Play Console A/B Testing: Should I Optimize for Active Devices or Users
Can't seem to find any ASO type of communities to ask this question to and since the Moz community has been so helpful, I thought I'd try this out. I've been doing A/B Testing for featured graphics on the Google Play Store. There are segments of active devices and users and I've been keeping track daily for ~1.5 months. The data that I have written down displays that active devices shows a positive, however users show a negative. Google Play Console choose to display the scaled installs for active devices. When we do A/B Tests on Google Play Console, should we choose the winner based on the active devices or users?

Split test content experiment - Why can't GA identify a winner here?
I have been running a content experiment for a short while now and GA has just ended it saying it cannot determine a winner. Looking at the images (links below), without any form of analysis I can already see a pattern of greater success in Variation 1. It ended with a 93% probability of outperforming the original yet the content experiment ended with no winner. Does this mean the 95% confidence threshold I set should've been lowered? Ultimately I'm going to choose this as my winner but why didn't GA push it as the winner? Is there something I am missing? PPC Bid Strategies for Adwords PLA Campaign
I am managing a Google Adwords Product Listing Ads (PLA) campaign. The campaign is granular and specific in that each product is targeted via its corresponding ad groups. The structure of the campaign is : Campaign->500 Ad Groups (each ad group targeting a unique product selected by "product_id". I would like to get some ideas and feedback on bidding strategies. The granular structure of the campaign allows me to set a different Default Max CPC and a Max CPC for each unique product. I am unable to find within Adwords a column that shows what the competition is bidding. Is there a methodical procedure to extract this bidding information? I have recently enabled "Search Impression Share" and "Search Impression Lost (IS Rank)", but there is not enough data yet for those stats. What do the PPC experts have to say?

Conversion Rate boost - Website Feedback
We are a relatively young company with an Okay conversion rate of around 2% across several different sales channels. I am mentioning this because our website with the same type of products has a very low conversion rate of under 1%. Have My SEO Cake & Eat It - Mix Viral Content & Business Content?
Hello, I optimize for a fashion, eCommerce site which has catalogue pages and product pages. http://www.zando.co.za/ We're currently working on a large "blog" which tons of great content designed to attract readers, links and tons of long tail traffic. We'll be doing how-to videos, celeb interviews, top-tens, etc. etc. We'll even have a UGC community section eventually. Really great. Now, I want to use the links generated by this section to rank for generics like this: For example: I want to rank for "Lingerie" and I have this page set up as the target: http://www.zando.co.za/women/clothing/lingerie/ I create some amazing content that generates lots of links containing the word "lingerie" . That awesome content lives in:(hypothetical URL:) http://www.zando.co.za/fashion/magazine/how-lingerie-has-changed-over-50-years/ I want to (and this is where you come in 😉 get people linking to my catalogue page (http://www.zando.co.za/women/clothing/lingerie/) where they can find a banner or something alluding to that piece of link bait (the /fashion/magazine/ url). Perhaps similar to the Wordpress style <read more="">page break on posts?</read> Reason is, I want my "Money-Page" to get the links with "Lingerie" in it. Problem is, it'll be another click to the thing they want to find. Also, say I decide a few months later that I want to do another piece, like "lingerie in films" and do the same. My 'banner' idea would get very crowded or, it would mean that I bump the 50-years piece, which then makes for bad UX for readers clicking through looking for the old piece. Or perhaps this can all be solved with good design? Can using the Google Keywords tool and/or SEOmoz cause problems for my company's IP address?
I just started with a company a few weeks back, working on-site doing SEO work. I've been using SEOmoz as well as Google Adwords' Keywords tool. I just got a message from one of our reps saying that people at the office (and this is a huge office) have reported tons of CAPTCHAs being thrown up frequently. I told them I had been running searches with Google Keywords tool and SEOmoz, but would that really cause that much of a problem? Is there anything I can do in order to fix this, some keyword finders that won't get me in trouble, etc.?

Call extension only showing with some keywords/ads?
I've enabled Call Extensions with Call Forwarding on my Adwords Campaign (found out Location Extension must be enabled, so enabled that, but left out phone number in location settings). I thought these extensions should work on a campaign level. However, I can only see the google voice call forwarding extension on some of my keywords/ads. What's up?
