Consistant citations for Local SEO

Hi Guys - Ive got a tricky question. I want to create correct and consistent citations for this business http://www.singlewellcarsales.co.uk/
However theres a twist, the website is called ‘Singlewell Car Sales Ltd’ but they also have a service centre called ‘Singlewell Service Centre Ltd’ so in theory two business names under one website. We want to treat them as two separate businesses when adding to local directories. We also want to create two local Google pages. Both divisions share the same website, and address but include a different telephone number and business name.
I want to use Schema mark up on the website to reference both business names so that Google can make a link between the name and various local citations NAP.
My main questions is, can you use Schema two mark up two business names under one website? or will Google get confused and regard it as duplicate or inconsistent citations?

Hey Jon!
If you feel totally confident that Google will agree that these are 2 different forward-facing businesses at the same address, than the differentiating items will be the name, the phone number and the website landing page the Google My Business listing links to. Being sure that all 3 things are unique should help Google keep them separate, ideally. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the info.
However, I did read the guidelines a few weeks ago. The two businesses do qualify for two Google places pages as they fall under two categories. (car dealer & car repairs)
My main concern, how do I represent two businesses within the html code on one website in hope that Google does not get confused. My aim is to create correct citations for both businesses (NAP)
I think I have a solution! (based on Ioganr's help)
However, if you have any further suggestions regarding NAP for two businesses on one website, please let me know. Your help would be much appreciated

First step here is to read Google's guidelines for Departments Within Other Business:

Be sure that you actually have 2 businesses that qualify as separate, in Google's eyes, before you make a decision about how to represent these to the public on your website, citations, etc. Hopefully a read-through will help with this.

An office building would have numbers or the name of the room to differentiate.
This one is tricky as the car sales and service centre is the same building. My original proposal to overcome this issue was to get a separate website build for the 'service centre' and then include tabs at the top of both websites that link between each other. Obviously setting this up would have a cost implementation, hence why investigating an alternative solution.

Hmm...I didn't realize there weren't street numbers involved, that's usually my differentiator. Unfortunately, Google will see your proposed addresses as synonymous.
In a case of office buildings, where many different companies operate in one building, how would those addresses be formatted? (forgive my lack of knowledge on UK address formats)

Hi Jon,
I've had a very similar situation before, where 2 businesses were operating under the same website, but located in 2 different places and under slightly different names. You can apply schema to multiple instances of NAP, but in your case, what you would need to do is create 2 different addresses.
For example, Business A would be located at 123-A Boulevard Street, and Business B would be located at 123-B Boulevard Street. That seems to be enough of a differentiation for Google being as office buildings commonly contain similar address formats. You're technically not changing anything from a geographical point of view, but this way you're able to provide Google with enough different information for them to identify. It will take some time to see the results, and you'll need to get as many good-quality citations for each company as possible.

Phone number inconsistencies - local search
Hi, Can you help me with something that is probably straightforward? A website which displays a different phone number to visitors to the one in the source code is using this for tracking purposes I assume? Since the phone number in the source code matches with the local citations I am assuming that there is no harm here in terms of local ranking? Thanks

Increasing positions in local maps
Our team is working with a small law firm and we haven’t had as much luck increasing their local visibility for those key terms that they would like to rank for: Santa Barbara accident attorney/lawyer injury attorney Santa Barbara wrongful death injury lawyers serious injury attorney Santa Barbara We’ve currently got an 87% on Moz Local, 12 5 star reviews on Google+ and are working to raise the bar, however the client is unhappy not being on the top 3 - there are also instances where firms with 0 reviews, non verified G+ pages who rank higher than them. Local seo citation tools
Hi I have been manually adding my details to local/national directories in order to help my ranking in my google places placing. It is a bit of a grind, and I am aware there are tools out there. I was wondering if anybody has any experience with any of them? I am UK based. Also I was ranking for "Liverpool Photographer" on google places for a couple of months and it brought in quite a bit of work, although I have since slipped back to about 15th, so out of the visible results. I am mainly a wedding photographer so my home page was optimised mainly for "liverpool wedding photographer" Although I hired an SEO company who changed the home page title to "liverpool photographer", I cannot remember if I was ranking on places for this keyword because of this change or I was already in the results before the changes were made. So my question is how Can I rank for "liverpool photographer" and "Liverpool wedding photographer" on a places result at the same time? I hope this makes sense. Best wishes. David.

Any ranking success with Moz Local?
In the last three months, our Tampa office has gone from a listing score of 2% to 72% and is considerably higher than everyone else on the first page for Moz Local...but we are on the 13th page! We have not improved at all, even though our score has dramatically. I know that the listing is only a part of the local equation, but it just a little shocking to me we haven't moved up even one page. Anyone have any success with this tool that translated to increased rankings for local? If so, how long did it take you to see results? Thanks, Ruben

Finding citations
Just starting work on a client providing care services in the local area. They have a number of local branches in the area, but no Google+ page (which we will sorting shortly). One of the first things that struck me about the company is the offsite citations are a mess. Their addresses all have different information and they have several phone numbers for each branch. I've been trying to gather a full list so that I can go through them and either change them or ask for log in details if necessary. However, this is time consuming and there is no guarantee that I will get them all. I know that moz local has a tool to do this quickly, but it the grader seems to only work in the USA, we're based in the UK. I'm also trying to use whitespark to get a list, but this is difficult due to all the different phone numbers being used. Does anyone know of another tool that can speed up this process and ensure that I get all the citations?

Why there is sometimes A-1 in Local result title?
