Site moved to https and not showing any Moz DA or PA
-
Hello Fellow Mozzers,
So, I have a client site that we moved from non https to https at the end of 2015. We had decent moz numbers (Da/Pa etc) but now we are only showing a 1 for both of them.
Does it usually take time for Moz to carry over the info to the https version or does that process entirely start over? Not sure where to start looking.
Cheers
D

Hi there!
It looks like we haven't indexed the new version of your site yet. It can take a few index updates for your current URL to appear in Open Site Explorer, so keep an eye on our index update schedule here and check out our new link data with each update.
I hope this helps - thank you!

Hi, kudos to you for taking this on...
yes, it takes a few weeks for them to update the moz bar with new fresh metrics upon the latest crawl... they used to crawl every 20 to 30 days, sometimes longer intervals... I'm not up to date lately as to the actual frequency for the Mozbot crawls, but you should see the metrics soon if you've done the homework properly: 301 redirects, execute the 'change of address' trigger via Search Console from http to https....re-submit your xml sitemaps under https, etc...
I also assume that you have no mixed content on your site anymore, meaning internal links pointing to the right version of your pages and resources: image urls, etc... otherwise if you only rely on the 301s it take a lot longer to get Google to index your https pages...
hope that helps, good luck!
david

Update I've just bothered going to the Dev Blog: https://moz.com/devblog/category/archives/linkscape/ and can read that Mozscape data hasnt been refreshed in the last few weeks + on top of that there were some issues with the index in feburary. That may explain why you are not getting Moz link data for your new https site?

Different DA Conflict
I was searching for a keyword in google and I had moz extension installed. The keyword I searched was "lesco bill online" and after searching MOZ extension shows DA and PA for each result in SERP. now I cheeked a site lescobill.net In SERP it was show its DA as 7 but when I open it up and look in explorer it showed DA as 4. Now is the because few backlinks removed from site and MOZ extension haven't picked them up yet ? what could be the reason behind this ? Just wanted to clear my doubt

Backlinks not showing on Open Site Explorer's Just-Discovered Links
Hi guys! My name is Edgar. I've recently been adding a bunch of backlinks to the site i work for, and most of them have a very high DA (DA > 80. Wohoo!). Nevertheless i'm often feel a bit frustrated when i check my site with the OSE, because just a few part of these links are showed in the just-discovered section, although i created them few days ago. So, i would like to know why is this happening, how long it take for my links to get crawled, and when can i stop getting frustrated on this? Than you very much! Edgar.

Open Site Explorer Problem
Have been trying to use Open Site Explorer this morning and just returning an error message "There was an error getting your data" or the cog whirring round for ages and not doing anything. Is it a general problem or is it just my PC?

Why Moz doesn't offer tool similar like SEOprofiler Link Disinfection?
Hi Moz, As I have been your member & using pro tool for more than an year, it's been amazing experience working and using your each tool's function tool, wehther to check on-page grader, rank tracking, on-page crawling issue, keyword difficulty and the one my best for link analysis is Open Site Explorer etc. I came here to ask about something which I didn't find here than other providers is most popular Bad Link Detection Tool. As **SEOprofiler Link Disinfection **offers their customers to use this to get all of their bad or spammy links harming them to rank high or getting away from ranking goal. Let me know, are you planning anything similar to this to bring soon in your tools and provide your members to take benefits of such type function as well OR should i go to SEOprofiler for this? Best,

Open Site Explorer
Confused by the results displayed in Open Site Explorer. Want to know the Total Links into a site. As such typed in the site address and received the result 28 Total Links from 1 Root Domain. Filter Set to This Page. Therefore, changed the filter to **Pages on This Root Domain. **All other filters set to All (i.e. internal and external links). I would assume this should give me ALL LINKS coming into all pages. I received results of 79 Total Links from 28 root domains. Raven and other tools advise a Total number of links in excess of 2,000. External Backlinks 200+. I have experienced this problem on a number of sites over the past month, in what way am I interpreting the data incorrectly? Why is there such disparity? Please advise. Kind regards
