Page Authority on Huffington Post

I was looking into my website backlinks and noticed that a link Huffington Post post has only one page authority while the other post has high page authority like 30 or 40.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/toby-nwazor/is-it-time-to-retire-the-_b_10610052.html
Please suggest what can be the issue. Thanks!

Hi Mahendra,
The page authority could differ because of age of the post, amount of back links to the post, length of the post in comparison to the others, social shares etc. - but, in my opinion, don't bother with page authority too much.
Rather focus on the domain authority. This should give you an overall picture about the website and link building possibilities. Try to compare websites instead of particular pages of just one website.

Hi Experts, I am implementing J-son Schema via tagmanager. For my blog category page i have many blog post listed so now I have to use blog posting at category page via tag manager so can anyone guide me how to implement? Hope you are getting my question. Site not passing page authority....
Hi, This site powertoolworld.co.uk is not passing page authority. In fact every page shows no links unless it has a link from an external source. Originally this site blocked Roger from crawling it but that block was lifted over 6 months ago. I also ran a crawl test last night and it shows the same thing. PA of 1 and no links. I would like to point out that the problem seems to be the same for all sites on the same platform. Which points me in the direction of code. for example there is a display: none tag in the ccs which is used to style where the side bar links are. It's a Blue Park platform. What could be causing the problem? Thanks in advance. EDIT Turns out that blocking the ezooms crawler stopped it from being included.

Pages extensions
Hi guys, We're in the process of moving one of our sites to a newer version of the CMS. The new version doesn't support page extensions (.aspx) but we'll keep them for all existing pages (about 8,000) to avoid redirects. The technical team is wondering about the new pages - does it make any difference if the new pages are without extensions, except for usability? Thanks!

Wordpress Archive pages
In the SEOMOZ site report a number of errors were found. One of which was no or duplicate meta desctions on certain blog pages. When I drilled down to find these i noticed thosepages are the wordpress autocreated archive pages. When I searched for these through the wordpress control panel through both pages and blogs they were nowhere to be found. Does anyone know how to find these pages or are they not something I need to worry about?

Post vs page in Wordpress?
Hello there, I have a Wordpress site and would like to know if it is better to have 600 posts or 600 pages in terms of efficiency in the site. I would like to publish the content as pages, as I can have subapges,etc... and keep the path: www.website.com/page/subpage1... in terms of good SEO. This structure of using pages rahter than posts allow me to keep the path as stated above (with a category/post path I could not manage in this sense as a pile of articles is displayed although the path category/post in terms of SEO I understand would be good too). Thank you very much for your thoughts here as I would go for a page structure. Antonio

Page rank 2 for home page, 3 for service pages
Hey guys, I have noticed with one of our new sites, the home page is showing page rank two, whereas 2 of the internal service pages are showing as 3. I have checked with both open site explorer and yahoo back links and there are by far more links to the home page. All quality and relevant directory submissions and blog comments. The site is only 4 months old, I wonder if anyone can shed any light on the fact 2 of the lesser linked pages are showing higher PR? Thanks 🙂
