PR in deeper pages
-
Hi,
I got a question, a main domain from one site that link to me is PR 6 and deeper pages has no PR, i know this occur because the deeper pages are new.
I just want to know if this deeper pages give to me a good backlink quality even it has no PR like main domain?

If the page you're linked from is linked directly from homepage (anywhere from it, including footer) or any other PR6 page on that site it will likely have PR5 (unless the number of outgoing links is excessive, or PR value is barely PR6 - for example PR 4.6). Worst case scenario is PR4 in the next public update (although pagerank is already received in realtime).
Typically PR drops one toolbar point each link depth down.

Is the page indexed? That's more important than the length of that little green bar...
-
Ok Rafael
It has no PR, because the Toolbar PageRank only updates multiple times a year. but Internally (Google) already have an actual PageRank for these pages.
one other think that you have to make note that where is the link is located?
Footer? Sidebar?
What most probably will happen, is it will pass link juice and PR flow to your site, BUT the anchor text will be some devalued.

Should we get link from dated page with high PA/DA?
We have an unlinked mention on a page that has dated content about an old event but the page and site have a good PA and DA score. Is it worth it to go for the link? Thanks.

Competing for a specific keyword beyond on-page factors
Hello, I am trying to rank better for 'keyword X', a critical query that I'm outside the top 50 for, though we grade out at an A via Moz's on-page grader. One of our main competitors ranks #1 for this keyword, despite not using 'keyword X' once in their meta title, body content, or image tags. My assumption is that the volume and quality of backlinks to the competitor's site is driving their high ranking. If this is the case, how can I identify backlinking opportunities to compete better? Are there other factors I'm overlooking here? Thanks

Has anyone seen a recent drop in Page Authority?
We have seen a sizeable drop in Page Authority for three of our key category pages over the last one week. The total number of linking root domains has increased for all the three pages. We have disavowed a few spammy links but we doubt that would cause a drop in page authority. The domain authority is unchanged. Is there any way we could figure out the cause of the drop? Has anyone else also noticed a drop in page authority for their pages? Is it better to link back to the root domain, or the specific page you're optimizing for?
I'm working on a project our site - building links for iPhone Repair. For the term "iphone repair miami" - is it more ideal to link to the root domain (xxx.com) or to the subpage that is about iPhone Repair (xxx.com/iphone-repair)? I would imagine the latter - but obviously that page has less authority than the root. Thanks!

Youtube no follow now! =( Any good PR Replacements?
Our youtube page was PR7 and passing on quite a bit of Pagerank to our site. I didn't think it turning nofollow would effect us much, but we've experienced a sitewide rankings drop on a newer ecommerce store. Anyone familiar with the youtube trick know of another good site for building Pagerank?

Can changing our links page make our rankings drop through the floor?
Hi all, When I first started at my current job, most of the link building (aside from submitting to free directories left, right and centre) was replying to every spammy reciprocal email and adding them to our links page! Now we're all a bit wiser about such matters (thanks SEOMoz!), I want to get our links page turned into something actually useful. My plan was to get it neatly categorised, with recommendations, cut out unrelated links that would be useless to visitors and call it something like "Our Friends" I thought this might be useful for future link building efforts, but in its current state, it's a complete mess. However, I am worried about cutting out a lot of links if they have been reciprocal ones. Are the sort of sites that would be sending typical spammy link exchange emails for window installation in NY likely to notice our UK education site taking away their link six months later and take away ours? If they do, will losing links from these sites harm us? Perhaps more importantly, is my plan a terrible idea in the first place? Look forward to hearing from y'all!

PPC Landing pages and SEO landing pages query
We do a fair amount of work on PPC and because of this a lot of our PPC landing pages also do quite well in SEO. We are thinking that the landing pages do well because they get a lot of traffic from PPC and therefore, maybe google can index and take note of these pages quicker? The pages that usually shoot right up the rankings are new pages used for long tailed keywords. So I have a few questions: Does the traffic from PPC actually have any effect on SEO rankings? If we were to create a page that was to act solely as an SEO landing page, would google take note if there was no traffic? Would simply linking from our main site to the landing page be enough to give it a bit of authority, in which we can build upon? Thanks in advance.

Unblock Shopping Cart Page
Is it weird to remove the View Cart page from being blocked in robots.txt if it has links pointing to it?
