Link Building Management Tool That Syncs Sweetly With Google Analytics
-
Hi,
I would like a link building management tool that syncs with Google Analytics, so that I can
- Easily see traffic referrals from link acquired sites
- Easily see traffic from keywords that were anchored in the link acquisition
Browny points for the tool to be a CRM as well.
Raven Tools cant do this.
Does anyone know of a tool? Or do I keep building custom reports in Google Analytics!
Thanks.

I think that reply is pretty good at least they will consider it with the product team.
Could be a easy way to get this feature implemented.

This was the response from Raven -
Hi Chris,
The only feature we have that is close to this would be auto-importing referrers from Google Analytics. If you go to Google Analytics settings within Raven, you can turn on auto-importing of your referrers to the Link Manager.
I like your idea of showing traffic on keywords that are anchor text you're requesting. Right now you can turn on Google Analytics traffic in SERP Tracker, so you can see traffic laid up against your ranking results, but this is an interesting idea too. I'll send it over to our product team for consideration.

Good question Chris, I think we need this within link management software, would be beneficial.
@dejan Will it be Omniture ready Dan and not just GA
But really I think this is something that Raven Tools should implement, I would email support and see what their thought is on it.

Need a beta tester?
It seems like a logical test for all of these link management tools - it's nice to be able to enter link data into a web app, but it's free to also do this in a google spreadsheet which basically achieves the same thing.
Make sure you also hook it upto GA Goal Tracking. Seeing traffic from link building is great, seeing goals achieved is awesome.

I am looking for a software to keep track of the back links or link building
Hi Guys, I am very new hear. I just joined. I have a few websites that I need to manage. I am looking for a software that will allow me to manually add the links that I have been able to acquire. It would also be a bonus if it could search for the links to my site and to see if its still active. Because I have a freelancer working a few hours a week on link building and I need to keep track of the links. I am looking for something simple and good. Any suggestions? By the way, I used Raven Tools many years ago, and it had this feature. But since joining Moz, I don't want to be paying for 2 subscriptions. And I don't know if Raven still has this feature. Your suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you. Ryan

Using Online Communities for link building..
Hello. All I have a question in regards to online communities. Is joining an online community( i.e. Industry related forums, commenting on industry related news sites, responding to blog post) a good way to do link building? I don't mean in the sense of spamming but actually being an active part of a online community and adding valuable to the conversation. I have tried posting blog post on a industry related online community: biggerpockets.com but this site does not show up as a link when I pull an open site explorer for my website. Any suggestions ?

Guidelines for keyword-targeting and link building?
Hello, Every month, I set a goal of targeting 10 - 15 relevant keywords for my website. I then attempt to boost my site's rankings for these terms through a combination of content writing and white hat, non-paid link building. My question is: Are there general guidelines for keyword-targeting and backlinks? Is it healthy to target 10 - 15 different keywords (or more??) like this per month?

Do you have PA and DA minimums for link building outreach?
Hi all! I'm putting together a list of sites I want to attack for link building. I'm looking at my competitors while also seeking specific sites I know would work well to link to us. My question is, since this is very time-consuming, do you have a minimum PA and/or DA that you require in order to perform manual link-building outreach. For example, if a site has a DA below X and PA below X, what would X have to be for you to not consider it worth your time. I'm just trying to gauge where my efforts will be best spent and trying to get some benchmarks. Thanks!

Most effective method for link building?
From your experience, what have you found to be the most effective method for link building? It's starting to look like the only way to receive good links is by writing great content or offering great services and allowing the links to come in naturally (which is obviously the most important thing anway), but are there still any effective methods of getting valuable links through link building, apart from having personal connections and relationships with site owners?

Best link building activities to increase velocity.
I'm running my own web based company selling security software. I'm a one man band and do the programming, web design, SEO etc. all myself. I've taken a very white hat approach so far and spend all my time writing guest posts and getting them published on tech blogs (I get 3-5 links per week doing this). The only tool I use is Buzzstream and I've been doing this for about 6 months now. I'm starting to see a few results but whenever I look at my competitors I see they have links from thousands of root domains. I feel like I need to increase my link building velocity with a new activity which will yield a much greater number of links than I am able to create using my guest posting strategy. I'm not keen to start spamming article directories or any other short term activity. I dedicate about 8 hours per week to SEO and I could afford to spend around $700 per month if necessary. Any help would be much appreciated.

Good link building companies
I'm wondering if anyone has had good experiences with any of the link building companies out there. I'm really looking to hear about those companies who go beyond the mundane forum links, blog commenting, bulk directory submission, article directories etc. It's all been done to death. I've used webuildpages.com, they are pricey, but are good at getting high quailty links.

Google Webmaster Tools - assessing inbound links
Hello, I am terribly confused by Google Webmaster Tools. I am looking at my inbound links, to see which content on the site is strongest. However, the results from GWT under Links to your site, and the results from doing a link: search in Google yield very different results! For example, in GWT, this page on our site apparently 2237 links from 29 different domains. But when I search link:www.nigelsecostore.com/acatalog/Eco_Stapler.html, I get just three results, two of which are from our site. What is the cause of the disparity between the two results, or is it just my (lack of) understanding of what I am seeing in the Links to your site report in GWT? Any help clearing this up gratefully received! Many thanks, Sophy
