Hi there,
- I'm not familiar with Market Samari so I can only speak to Google's KW Tool. The SEOmoz tool compares the PA, DA, and other metrics of the top 10 results for your keyword and give you a score. The Google tool is most likely looking a true search volumes and not at the actually sites in the top 10. I get little to no value from Google's tools as it doesn't help me determine how hard it will be to rank.
- Once again, I feel that the SEOmoz tool is much different than the tools you mention as it compares the current 10 ten results to your site and lets you know what site has the best metrics.
- The tools scrapes the 10 results from the keyword you enter and calculates the score and data from that.
- It seems you ran it correctly and you should be able to compare your site to the top 10 results for that keyword.
A thing to remember is that for Niche Keywords the data can be deceiving since there can be strong competition for keywords with low value.

What tools do you use to find phrase keyword search volume?
I used to use Google Adwords to find broad, phrase and exact search volumes, but now Google only provides exact. Does anyone have any tools or other ways to find phrase search volume?

Identifying Keywords - Longtail
I need some clarification as to how exactly keywords work. I learned that I should focus on more specifically targeted long-tail keywords. However I am uncertain of how this actually works. Say I decide to use the longtail keyword "online dyslexia test for children". Will my page only be found by people when they enter that exact search term or will it also be found when people search for any of the other terms containing the same words? For example like all the phrases below: free online dyslexia test

online dyslexia test
online dyslexia test children
dyslexia test online
dyslexia test
dyslexia testing
dyslexia test for children
dyslexia tests for children
free dyslexia test for children
test for dyslexia in children
dyslexia online test
testing for dyslexia in children
free online dyslexia test for children
free dyslexia test
online test for dyslexia in children
online dyslexia test free
dyslexia tests online
online dyslexia testing
test for dyslexia for children
how to test for dyslexia in children online
online testing for dyslexia
dyslexia online test for children
child dyslexia test
dyslexia test online free
free dyslexia test online
how do you test for dyslexia in children Also if I have a page that I optimize for "online dyslexia test free" can I create another page for "free dyslexia test online" or will this be creating competition? In other words are these both unique keywords that will independently rank. Last question about keywords is are they still important and what is the search volume you should be targeting with your keywords. (Allot of my long tail keywords only have around 20 monthly US searches) Thanks! Joy0 -
Is it possible for the Keyword Difficulty Report to show more than the top 10?
I'd like have that report show me the top 20 or 30 results -- currently I can only get it to display the top 10. Is this possible?

Comprehensive Keyword Research Report?
I'd like to provide a keyword research report to a client, that includes all of the keywords we're targeting, organized nicely along with relevant data for each (keyword difficulty, search volume, etc.). Is there a way to do this other than running an individual report for each keyword? I'd like to avoid sending them a 50 page document showing all of the keyword research 😉 Thanks for any help! Josh

Keywords
I'm working on an e-commerce site and I'm having trouble determining how to find keyword targets for similar product pages. The company sells posters and they have three posters for Babe Ruth: Babe Ruth Winning, Babe Ruth Attitude and Babe Ruth Desire. After doing keyword research, I found there is a good amount of traffic for "Babe Ruth Posters" but none for "Babe Ruth Winning Posters," "Babe Ruth Attitude Posters" and "Babe Ruth Desire Posters." How can I differentiate these three product pages? Can I optimize them for a term that doesn't have traffic, hoping that one or more of these pages will come up when someone enters the search term "Babe Ruth Posters."
