How to find high PR & Domain authority websites to build links? I really want to learn as much as I can from link building, but I am not sure how to find out how to find high PR websites to build links from..

Thanks for the response - to be honest there about 15 websites all in different industries and sectors..
We want to find a reliable company (possibly India as we have heard they are cheap to outsource too) this is because mainly of the time it takes to outsource all of the link building...
If you do know of any companies please can you let me know ?

Is that any tool where i can just put keywords and select PR and it will fetch the High PR pages

With regard to rel="nofollow", you'll likely find people divided on this issue.
I personally believe it is worth gathering these links if they are offered to you, as I believe they do hold value. In other words, Google may not count the nofollow link as a weighted backlink, but your anchor text and the domain and page authority of the site you acquired the link from is not being ignored by Google. (And rel="nofollow" will certainly never hurt you if all the other standards are acceptable and in line with good practices.)
That said, I'd certainly target the sites that pass value before I concentrated all my efforts on a link from a site that uses rel="nofollow".

Yes, Domain Authority is certainly an important element when targeting links, but you also want to keep in mind:
-
Make sure there is a defined relationship between the person you are requesting from and your business vertical. In other words, if you sell Accounting Services, don't go after links from a gambling site. It just looks fishy.

Look at the Page Authority. You want to make sure your link is coming from a page within the domain that also has appeal.

Check to see if the page has a rel="nofollow" tag associated with it.

Ensure that your target source is not plagued with a lot of links from questionable sources. (remember, just becuase you see a domain with high authority, something questionable could still be occurring to which the engines haven't caught up yet. rankings are not necessarily reflective of day-today activity.
Ultimately, there are always exceptions of which you want to be aware, but if you stay on the straight and narrow, develop a good acqusition strategy, and target reliable sources, you should do just fine.
It's a lot of hard work, so don't get too discouraged if you find yourself not getting responses from a high ranking site

Thanks for answering my question. With the http://www.opensiteexplorer.org is it best to target websites with high Domain Authority? For example if a website that has a domain authority of 100 then they would be really good to use?

You've asked a fairly general question, but I think the best place to start would be familiarizing yourself with a reliable tool such as Open Site Explorer. This tool is going to allow you to research a websites backlinks, explore reputation in terms of "trust," aas well as the types of neighborhoods the site is assoicated with. It also gives you additional linking targets based on who is linking to your competitors.
REMEMBER: finding trusted sites is not the challenging piece. You need to develop a sound strategy for obtaining these links in an honest, respectful, time efficient manner. I think you'll find that to be your struggle, as we all do
More specifically, can you tell us what type of industry with which you are associated? There are a lot of variables that you'll want to define before you just begin pursuing a link from a website.
In short, start with OSE, it's going to give you a lot of trusted information on potential link sources.

What are the SEO implications of high quality backlinks from US-based websites to UK-based websites?
Hi everyone, quick question I hope someone could help me with: We're representing a client based in the UK. As part of their overall strategy we've been linkbuilding. At the moment, about 80/90% of the links we've gained come from UK-based sites, with 10/20% coming from US-based websites. The US based websites are very good (think New York Times and genuine, relevant blogs with good readerships). An external search analyst/consultant has contacted the client to say that the US links will be harming the site, because the links are from websites in the US and not the UK. We believe that if 80/90% of the links were from the US this could indeed cause harm as it could indicate to search engines that our client is in the US when it's not (which might compromise their chance of ranking in .co.uk versions of search engines) however because it's only 10/20%, and because the linking sites are very good, we believe that they will getting all of the benefits of the positive metrics without any meaningful negatives. We just wanted to get a few opinions on this to see if people think that we're mistaken, and would be glad to hear any opinions contrary to our own.

Link building need help
I've been doing link building for the past 2 months for a website. I've put together some blog posts and submitted them to some sites. However, I don't want to repeat the content on other sites or use the same sites again for links. The problem with this company is that nothing is happening. The last press release they issued was in 2010 and in the 4 months I've been working for them nothing has happened. I have found a few good quality websites in our niche which I could approach for links, but I want to have good content to put on them. Does anyone have any ideas as how to create content that would be suitable, bearing in mind this a B2B company.

What are the best SEO agencies for link building?
I am not looking for a full service SEO agency. I just want link building. Not paid links, not link networks, not blog comments, not bookmarks...real, legit, decent links. Does anyone have any experience working with an SEO agency that helped them develop their link profile positively and at a reasonable price? Outsource Link Building?
Currently we are in the process of creating a new ecommerce website. The site is not live yet, but we have done all of the planning and brainstorming and now are just doing all of the dirty work to get things ready to go live. We are devoting a lot of time on merchandising and developing the site, but currently do not have the resources to put together a good link building campaign in house. Does anyone have any recommendations for outsourcing the link building? The last thing we want is to hire someone that submits to bad neighborhoods and only directories. Is there a good, better, best scenario we should be looking at for pricing, ect? Obviously, like most who are starting a new site, cost is an issue at least until the site gives some sort of sign of life. Also, we are in the Pittsburgh area. Hello all ! I would love some opinions about one Link Building technical aspect from SEOs, link builders ... How important is the number of outgoing links on the page you have the opportunity to place a link ? (from a scale of 1-10 / what about where dose this factor fits overall with your check list , as important to consider as far as link building) Would you place a link on a page with 200+ outgoing external links if the page is ok (not involved in selling links, all links are related with the subject, target page, anchor text etc) or you would go with a link on a 10-15 links per page but not that 'powerful' and not that related (not spammy but more general on the subject that can contain links to some other non related resources). Eg: Option 1: www.whatever-name.com/links.html the entire domain is about x. It has 250 links in that page (in the links.html) all links on the links.html pages are somehow related / resources with x. Your link can be placed with an anchor text related with x that will target a page on your site related with x. Domain page rank : 6 (as a general indicator), Page PR, the links.html one, PR: 2 Option 2: www.some-other-name.com/x-is-so-great the entire domain is NOT about x, just the page. It has 5..10 links in that page (external links more or less related with x - but not spammy) Your link can be placed with an anchor text related with x that will target a page on your site related with x.
