If a site has 301 redirect - Will the Analytics of the target site show it as a referral or as the traffic source it came from?

Lets say I have a site www.abc.com and I rederect that site to www.xyz.com.
If ABC.com is still ranking for keyword X and orgnically someone searches for X and they click on the ABC.com listing - In the XYZ site analytics (which is the target site) does it show as organic or referall, direct?

If the click was coming from another site (referral) then it would retain the referrer data. I haven't encountered the 301 coming from an organic click, but since I understand it to be the same data (source/medium/keyword/etc) I imagine it will retain that information. Purely an educated guess though, I haven't had the need or opportunity to test this.
That said, I think the question will quickly become moot, because I doubt ABC.com will continue ranking like that for very long once Google sees the 301 in place. Hopefully, Google will replace it with XYZ.com in the ranking.

Filter Remote Workers Traffic
For the most part in the past our company has worked on location. So filtering internal traffic was as simple as filtering out our company IPs as well as a few remote workers IPS. Now a large number of employees are working from home due to Covid-19. I am seeing an uptick in traffic that is clearly employee-related. I am hoping some of you who work with large remote teams may have some suggestions on how to best filter out traffic from remote working employees. I found a few articles from a couple of years ago where people were using a cookie but not sure we can get that implemented in time as our Dev team is backed up. Any help is much appreciated.

Whats (Other) traffic in Google Analytics?
When I look through all our clients, a few are receiving the majority of their traffic from (other). [ Acquisition > Channels > (Other) ]. The only option in (other) is "website" or "offline", whatever that may be. And even weirder, the avg session duration is 0:00. Any idea what this may be?

Referral Traffic from Google
Hello, I have a question about my company's new website. I've worked in SEO and studied Google Analytics results for a few years now but have never really come across something like this. I started in this position in January of this year and when I started breaking down the traffic sources in Google Analytics, I noticed most of the traffic was coming from Google.com as a referral source. I had never seen Google.com as a referral source before so I looked into options for what it could be. It was not a paid ad and our organic traffic was coming through in Analytics, Before I could get any further, our new website was launched (we switched CRM's to WordPress) and the referral traffic from google went from 2,966 in January of 2015 to 22 in February 2015. for more comparison, in February of 2014, the referral traffic from Google was 2,496. I expected a drop when we switched CRM's but we correctly re-directed all pages and created a new sitemap and our organic traffic is up since the switch (not enough to cover drop in referral). I thought at first this had to do with our Google sellers account being de-activated when we made the switch, but I quickly fixed this over a month ago and no change. I'm wondering if anyone has ever seen Google.com come through as a referral source in Google Analytics and if they we're able to figure out what it actually was. This would be a great help! Ecommerce data in universal analytics
Does any have the same issue. We are tracking e-commerce data in GA universal. We are finding that sales are being recorded on the day of the sale and again a few days later. It does only seem to be 1 or 2 sales that do this not all. Does anyone have any suggestions? Much appreciated. David

Goal in Analytics - mulitple sources for the destination?
Hello, guys. I am trying to find information without luck for my case - I have a contact form, which is placed on many inner pages (about 40). My question is - how do I make a Goal that has simultaneously all the different sources at once (as steps probably) - because there is a max limit of goals, and because analyzing them separately will take much time. When a form is submitted, a /thankyou//?recordid=0d53415b-3e6b-4a32-add7-1586a4737a89 (or similar URL) appears.My guess is that I use a regular expression of ^/thankyou as a Destination, but I do not know what to write in steps. Thank you all in advance, I hope I find a solutions of this annoying problem..

Overall site traffic - 3 quick questions
3 things : 1. Does Google factor in overall site traffic in rankings? So for 2 sites, all other things being pretty much equal, the one with higher traffic will be listed higher? 2. Does this logically imply that sites with lower traffic overall face an uphill struggle to be ranked highly??? 3. As an extension to this, would it be true to say that by increasing site traffic, say with Google Adwords or other online or offiline or whatever advertising, that might help get higher SEO rankings???
