On Page Analysis and Grading

I am new here and happy to be! My site is an ecommerce site with hundreds of products. I have set up campaigns to track specific products. For the on page analysis where SEOMOZ gives you a grade I have 2 urls showing. But 1 of the urls is getting an A, and 1 is getting a F. But they are the same url and obviously go to the same page. Any help would be appreciated!

the report gives you grade for one keyword only, so if you run one report for say "dry erase board " and then a 2nd report for "monogrammed dry erase board" the results would be different.

The part of rel="canonical" is for the meta item in the head of the page. I offcourse don't know how far your knowledge of HTML goed but if you know the basics then this should ring a bell:
<title>Title of your webiste</title>
the rel="canonical" is for Google to know that this page is the one and only original version of this page. Lets say i copy your entire page and post it on my website. Normally your and mine page would be indexed both by google and maybe my page would rank higher then yours or the other way around. If you tell google that this page is the original page (by using the rel="canonical") then Google knows this and will only index your page or make sure your page gets indexed a lot better.

Then about the .htaccess file. This file tells yours browser to do something. Let's say you move a page from one url to another. How will google find this and even more important how will they no to drop the old page? Most important is your visitor. If the enter your site on the page you just moved they get an error message stating that the page no longer is on that location and they decide to leave. If you use .htaccess you can tell the browser (and thus the searchengines) to follow the old location to the new location by redirecting it with a 301 redirect like this:
RewriteRule ^oldboxer.html http://www.mysite.com/newboxer.html [L,R=301]
This states that the visitor (can also mean seachengine) will be redirected from the page oldboxer.html to the page newboxer.html within the same site. This way you dont lose your visitors.
In your case you can have your htaccess follow visitors from the duplicate page to the original page but i would rather use the first method with the canonical reference in it.

We have a whole host of keywords that we are targeting, but the main two are:
monogrammed dry erase board and personalized dry erase board. But that brings me to another question. Are the on page reports done for all the keywords in the campaign or is each keyword have a grade?

you could try avoiding this problem in the PRO section by adding a rel="canonical" tag to the page saying that it is one and the same page. Use it in combination with a .htaccess document stating the page links to that location and the problem should clear...

Duplicate Page Title error for an eCommerce store !!
I currently launched my eCommerce startup hosted in Shopify and linked with MOZ. From my first Crawl Report I am getting 580 Duplicate Page Title i.e. all my Collection page have the same title. I have googled and have been checking the MOZ community but cannot find a fix to it. Help me to know why are all pages not being tracked by the Moz tool for on-page optimization reports?
The On-page Optimization report that the Moz tool shows, is not tracking all the pages from my website. I know this because it isn't showing a ranking for all pages on my website. Is there a particular reason why this is happening? It is important for me to know details of all pages, else it does not give me a comprehensive picture of what's going on in SEO.

Just had to let you know that it happend again. So right now we are at 2 out of the last 4 crawls. SeoMoz keyword page grader report card
Hi Ive recently 301 redirected old pages/urls to new pages/urls due to a site redesign. The seomoz kw report card is still reporting the old urls though with a significantly reduced score for most pages (i.e. from A's to now C's, from B to now D's etc). Does this mean mozbot is following the 301's & its actually the new urls being graded as such or is it referring to the old pages ? I will be adding the new urls to report card shortly but just interested in clarifying the above since i would have thought, if it is the old pages, they would not be reporting any score for those, or its scoring the new pages ? Competitive Link Analysis Tool?
Hi, I ran a competitive link analysis report today and back came quite a few domains that 2 or more of my 5 main competitors link from. Is it worth me submitting links to these sites? And would i be best served submitting my homepage URL or submitting a brand page such as Creative Recreation Trainers? I want to target that brand but don't want to do it if my main URL is better? Crawling One Page
I set up a profile for a site with many pages, opting for setting up as a root directory. When SEOMoz crawled, they only found one page. Any ideas for why this would be? Thanks!

Cant understand Seo moz analysis
Did a semoz analysis of site www.1stclassdriving.co.uk and it came up with 484 pages with duplicate titles and 484 with duplicate content. Also gave me a 531st ranking for search term "Driving Lessons" (with many smaller schools with better rankings)- so I think that I may have a problem 1-Duplicate titles - I have many area pages - one for each of the post codes that we cover (some 40 odd) Each page is titled "Driving Lessons in "xxx" where xxx is the area.

Plus each Instructor has their own page which is tiled "Driving Lessons in xxx" where xxx is the more local towns/areas covered.
Is this the use of the term Driving Lessons xxx on each page the problem? The report doesnt seem to make this clear -it simply lists each page on the site 2- Duplicate content puzzles me as the content does differ although each instructor page has probably 80% content derived from a master page. Attach screenshot - hope someone can help Many thanx Brian0
