White Paper - Should I post to mysite before I put it on PRWEB?

I have a White Paper on Asset Based Lending. Should I post to mysite before I put it on PRWEB as a press release? Does it really matter who get's the credit first? How can I get forum and blogs to carry it?

1. Create an article.
2. Rewrite it manually 2-3 times.
3. Spin it manually, so you would have 9 versions of the same article.
4. Put the original article on your website.
5. Manually submit the other 8 copies to different sites with links back to your website.

You should post it on your site, but there's a caveat.
Your plan shouldn't be to post the same content across multiple sites; this will damage your credibility with search engines and be seen as webspam. Posting your whitepaper on your site, then writing a unique press release that you plan to send to PRWeb is a better plan.

Does posting on blogs with anchored backlinks do you any good?
My current strategy: I am ranking for keyword and site: Immigration Consultant I access the Fresh Web Explorer and search my keyword, then find the blogposts with High Authority where I can post using HTML and include my link in my signature, or sometimes the post has a link associated with the username. Now my question is this, does this count? will google even crawl the comments? can I aid the crawling process somehow? Any advice on creating relavent back-links is much appreciated. Thank you

Looking to share PRweb.com subscription.
Hate to post this again but really don't want to be forced to submit a PR when its not really necessary. I am looking for an individual or company to go 50/50 with me on my PRweb.com subscription. This is 1 release a month for 12 months. I currently only submit 1 a month and really REALLY don't need the extra release. Should we BackLink to Guest Post ?
Hi, I have been actively doing guest blogging for last few weeks . But the page authority , moz Rank and moz Trust of my guest posts appear 0 as those posts have their own pages on blogs with snippets of posts on home page. I wanted to ask if i should backlink to my guest posts to increase the authority, mR and mT of pages. Those posts are already appearing as backlinks in webmaster tools but if i backlink to my posts to increase mR and mT, then will it also increase the juice passed by backlinks in those posts to landing pages on my site ? Does Anyone Have Evidence of the Effectiveness of Guest Posts?
I think the tactic of guest posts is a good way to earn links to a site. But I have a few concerns: -Links are usually at the very end of the page.

-Guest posts are on blog posts which usually have much less link juice than top level pages.
-A lot of sites abuse guest posting for spammy anchor text, e.g. "cheap auto loans"
-Some SEOs have said that Google will devalue guest post links in the future (due to abuse) Does anyone have examples, tests, or case studies of guest posting helping a site improve their rankings? (or an opinion on the value of guest posting)0 -
Commenting on an old post
I've been playing around with OSE and found one of my competitors has a decent link coming from a post created in 2008. It only has two comments, one from my competitor with a link back to his site. The page has a PA: 55, it seems like an easy link but since the post is 3 years old im not sure its appropriate even though commenting is open. Any thoughts?

The Value of Off-Topic Guest Posts
Hi Mozzers! So the dilemma I am facing right now is getting links to deep pages on our site. One possible idea is guest posting on blogs with good domain and page authority. However, what if the blogs have good domain and page authority but they are off-topic or not really related to your site's main topic. How much will these links be devalued and could this hurt you by appearing manipulative? Thanks!
