Best SEO when you have a lot of clients

So I'm in a bit of an interesting situation. I want to do great SEO for all my clients, but I currently manage 18, each demanding 10 - 20 hours per month.
Is anyone out there able to manage a ton of clients and keep them all happy? What are the most effective strategies you use? I'm currently focusing almost exclusively on copywriting for all of them, simply because I don't feel like I have time to effectively test different strategies.
Anyone have any advice?

It sounds like you need to find someone to help you with all this work.
It might be worthwhile looking at finding a VA in your local area especially someone with SEO or copy writing experience. There are a growing number of Virtual assistants in the recession with people working only part time hours.
Use a site like Craigslist or ask your business contacts or networking group if they might be able to recommend someone to help you during busier periods.

The only way to scale is to find an assistant or another writer.
I bet if you advertise on craigslist for a person who holds a degree in English - graduated with honors - you will get some bites.

This should be an interesting question - gobble up all those MOZ POINTS folks : ) Our company website is real estate based. We have nearly 30,000+ paid members on the inside that put up real estate listings (properties for sale). The members do this on their own. From an SEO stand point it sort of feels like we have a huge team of content creators putting up unique content for us. To see what I'm talking about I'll drop some links so you can review: In this first link you'll see a member of ours advertised on the NYTIMES and the clickable anchored text waterfront leads back to us or I should say the members listing. See the link below: https://www.nytimes.com/2015/09/13/realestate/city-island-a-quainter-side-of-the-bronx.html This second link is the listing page for our member that the anchored text led to. https://www.nystatemls.com/profiles/NY/SAINT_ALBANS/NEW_YORK_ESTATES_GROUP_INC/Dale_Davids/68966/listings/ When I use MOZ i can see that we got some serious link juice from the above. **This is what is happening naturally: ** When someone joins as a member the public profile of their name & office is ranking in the SERPS. Example: Higgins Realty / it's ranked #1 and brings back 100 visitors per month. https://www.nystatemls.com/agency/NY/BROOKLYN/HIGGINS_REALTY_GROUP_LLC/5575/ When someone creates a listing with our system and publishes it the address is ranking. Think of this on a mass scale. Even though they are small niche names, offices, keywords it's generating traffic. & every once in awhile the name of an office is closely related to a major keyword and we pick up something that generates say 500 to 1,500 visitors per month. When someone advertises their public profile or their listing depending on the site they advertise on or the anchored text they use it's helping our domain. Again, all of this is happening on its own we aren't pushing SEO. This simply is real estate agents and brokers doing their job and in return our Domain Authority and Page Rank is climbing. Our monthly traffic is climbing. The number of keywords we rank for is increasing. This situation must be unique because wouldn't you say that in most cases with a website they have a blog. Someone needs to write good content then try to get it linked. But in our situation our members are creating (unique content) and publishing it. How do we capitalize on this though? or I should say capitalize in a bigger way? To help everyone benefit would it be to possibly teach the members some basic SEO. What if the name of their public profile was key worded or what if we explained advertising that listing, Sharing it, getting it on other sites would benefit them. To have them link back to their profile or listing page. Maybe give them a list of suggested sites? Maybe give them a list of possible anchored texts they could use which would be keywords we want to rank for? What are your thoughts? Do you have any clever or creative ideas that would help all parties? I have done the whole moz open exploer and I am not understanding why my site wouldn’t have more links registering to my website.. I have lots of sites(directorys and 3rd party) with my website domain in them. The only one that is linking to my site is BBB.com and my advertsing with saint paul press. www.somerersetautodealer.com But if I have links with all kinds of automotive directories why wouldn’t they register? I am sure this a simply answer or that I am not understanding something. Thanks for your help! Scott

Proof that Pinterest links are worthless for SEO?
One of our most popular blog posts (http://www.yournextdress.com/5-back-baring-dresses-rosie-huntington-whiteley/) has been pinterested 25K-56K times (22K according to Google Webmaster Tools, 56K according to the Pinterest widget). Still, when I do a google search for "5 Back-Baring Dresses Like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley", our blog post is outranked by Polyvore. While the latter has a much higher domain authority, the page they're outranking us with is simply linking to our page and has zero authority. In other words, it seems like over 25K links from Pinterest does nothing for the authority of our page. Am I not understanding things correctly? Let me emphaisize that we've never done any sort of link building on Pinterest, all the links have been generated organically (if that is the right term).

Should we fire our SEO Vendor?
Dear SeoMozers, We are working on ranking towards some hyper competitive keywords (each query has millions of searches a month) and working with an external SEO Vendor. We were not satisfied with the progress, therefore we asked them to send a revised SEO Plan. Here's what they proposed: 1. On Page Optimization (standard techniques) Off Page Optimization 1. Directory Submissions (100) 2. Article Marketing (Two unique 300 word articles to be submitted to 300 directories) 3. Press Release (Two Press Releases to 100 PR Sites) 4. Classified Ads Submissions 5. Business Listings 6. Link Reinforcement (Create wheel to circulate traffic) 7. Blog Submissions, Commenting, Forum Posting 8. Web 2.0 Link Building (Squidoo Lens, Hub Page, Link Wheel etc) 9. One Way Links (Not Specified how many) Our concern is that this sounds like low quality link building. We've given them 19 top keywords to achieve rankings for and will be paying $20-25K to achieve Top 3-5 rankings for the targeted terms. Do you think this strategy would work or should we change the SEO Vendor?
