Avoid Keyword Self-Cannibalization | Help needed
-
I just ran a grade report for one of my niche websites and I can't seem to fix the following issue:
Avoid Keyword Self-Cannibalization
Easy fix Cannibalizing link "Buikspieroefeningen voor thuis en een lager gewicht" and "Buikspieroefeningen voor thuis"Explanation It's a best practice in SEO to target each keyword with a single page on your site (sometimes two if you've already achieved high rankings and are seeking a second, indented listing). To prevent engines from potentially seeing a signal that this page is not the intended ranking target and creating additional competition for your page, we suggest staying away from linking internally to another page with the target keyword(s) as the exact anchor text. Note that using modified versions is sometimes fine (for example, if this page targeted the word 'elephants', using 'baby elephants' in anchor text would be just fine). Recommendation Unless there is intent to rank multiple pages for the target keyword, it may be wise to modify the anchor text of this link so it is not an exact match.

Well, I've tried really everything (I believe) but this issue is not going away.
Could anyone help me out with this?My site = www.debuikspieroefeningenvoorthuis.nl
Thanks!

Owkej, thanks!
-
it must be talking of the rel=alternate links
I would not worry too much
-
keyword = buikspieroefeningen voor thuis
url = www.debuikspieroefeningenvoorthuis.nl -
and....
Is the error still showing?
What url? the home page?
-
Hmm I just created an On-Page Report Card for that specific keyword and url.
-
I cant see it either, not on your home page at least, are you sure it is your home page they are talking about.
They may be looking at this
-
Yes I understand the report statement, but I can't find myself doing that...
-
If you wanta a page to rank for keywordA, then it is better not have outgoing links on that page with the link text keywordA.
but dont go all un-natural over this, if it is necessary to have that link text then so be it, but if you cann avoid it then do so.

MOZ Pro Has Not Helped Yet. What is Going On?
A month ago I started using MOZ and I improved my website significantly. I reduced the Crawl Issues to few of them, improved the sitemap, url, etc. Unfortunately, my organic search has not improved at all. At the same time one of my competitors has the same Domain Authority, near the same Page Authorizaty, relatively similar social media performance, slightly higher backlinks, same blog content, etc. BUT, they are better ranked by Alexa.com, Similarweb.com and appear on google in top 10 for many of the keywords I am not even in top50. What am I doing wrong?

Incorporating a difficult keyword in Headline
Hi ! I need to incorporate a password in a H1 Headline that is "Photography Freiburg" As "The best Photography Freiburg" would sound strange and would be grammatically incorrect I would write "The best Photography in Freiburg". Is this much worse concerning SEO? Or will Google still put a high correlation to the Searchterm "Photography Freiburg" ? Thanks!

How Does Google Webmaster Tools Come Up with Content Keywords?
When I look at Google Webmaster Tools, in the Content Keywords report there are a couple of ones that are suspect - "prescription", "medications", and "viagra" which are completely unrelated to the content of the site. When I click on the content keyword, and search the source code for those pages, I don't see those words in the source code. Can someone please help me figure out why Google thinks that these keywords are associated with these pages, and how to correct it?

Cannibalizing link
this is what the reports states :Cannibalizing link"Red & Color Roses", "Red roses", "Black Baccara Roses\rBlack And Red Roses\rStarting at: $ 0.72 per Rose", "Black Magic Rose\rDark Red Black Rose\rStarting at: $ 0.96 per Rose", "Forever Young Roses\rRed Rose Flowers\rVelvety Deep Red\rStarting at: $ 1.16 per Rose", "Freedom Roses\rRed Rose\rStarting at: $ 0.66 ¢ per Rose", "Madame Delbard\rRed Wedding Rose\rStarting at: $ 0.66 per Rose", "Night Fever Roses\rTraditional Roses\rRomantic Red Roses\rStarting at: $ 0.66 per Rose", and "Red Paris Roses\rDark Red Rose\rStarting at: $ 0.72 per Rose"ExplanationIt's a best practice in SEO to target each keyword with a single page on your site (sometimes two if you've already achieved high rankings and are seeking a second, indented listing). New adsense account request rejected - need help
I'm moving my company to Australia, shutting down the US company. Google said I had to request a new Adsense account, so I did. They opened the account, I added the same ads, in the same places, and they have rejected my application. What do I do now? The other account has been open since 2004. They never said a word about this before. After two years of working on improvements, now I'm just about destroyed. I need some help, because I thought I knew what I was doing, but obviously not! As usual. their helpful response is no help at all. http://bit.ly/NPACk - there are no G ads on the front page http://bit.ly/V8ubB5 - this is a typical story http://bit.ly/UpTC2r - this is a typical press release As mentioned in our welcome email, we conduct a second review of your AdSense application once AdSense code is placed on your site(s).
