Is the SEOmoz RankTracker working? It has not worked for me in weeks
-
Hi! The current status about rank tracker is in this ZenDesk post at https://seomoz.zendesk.com/entries/22457872-keyword-difficulty-and-rank-tracker-issues
-
I have the same problem. Rank Tracker has a problem for sure .

Hi,
Some problem with rank tracking from research tools:
I rank #1 for this keyword "w immo" for URL : http://www.wimmobiliere.com in my campaign monitor (ranking tab)
In rank tracking for the same Search Engine (google.be) i am not in the 50.
Do you know why?
-
This tool is so slow and buggy I wish they would fix it.
-
Same here, I'm experiencing problems too (delays and sometimes not working). But I absolutely need the Rank Tracker functionality i.e. the possibility to check rankings instantly and for single pages of many different domains.
Please don't remove the tool or if you decide to do so try to transfer these features.
Thanks!

"Basically, we're looking to add its best capabilities into our campaign-based rank tracking, and eventually provide you with an integrated tool with everything you need."
Does this mean we will still be able to track 10's of domains in our client base? I don't need the full functionality of the web app for most clients but I need to keep their keywords tracked and keep clients updated weekly.
The rank tracker has been indispensable for me. Please keep that feature somewhere otherwise I have to go elsewhere!
If it is still possible to track a lot of domains please let me know.

I agree the campaign tool is great... However there is a week long lag to get results. Sometimes you need it in a matter of minutes and the rank tracker tool did that perfectly, until now.
Is there any chance the lag time could be changed for ranking results?
-
Sorry that Rank Tracker isn't working for you. While at times it works perfectly fine, it does have a problem retrieving rankings sometimes. Because of this, we're going to be completely deprecating Rank tracker from the site in the next few months.
Basically, we're looking to add its best capabilities into our campaign-based rank tracking, and eventually provide you with an integrated tool with everything you need. Rest assured, we'll give you fair warning before we make significant changes. If you haven't tried it lately, check out the campaign-based rank tracking tool. It's got a lot of great stuff:
-Deep historical charts
-Google Analytics traffic correlation
-SERP analysis
-Global matching to automatically find the URLs that rank for your keyword in your campaign
-Auto rank tracking for up to 3 engines
-Competitor rank tracking-Both .csv and .pdf exports
Here's a guide that provides a great overview of the new rankings report capabilities: http://seomoz.zendesk.com/entries/20032346-rankings-report.
Also let us know if you rely on Rank Tracker but can't get what you need from the Web App instead: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/5CKWL2F. Your input ensures that SEOmoz tools continue to meet your needs in the future, so thanks for sharing!
I hope you're able to get rankings at some point via one of these tools...

Agreed, i get nothing but errors when trying to use it as well.

We're back. THANK YOU SEOMoz!
To all the Mozzers reading this, I joined SEOMoz in a panic when we were seeing the first hints of an impending ranking crisis for our company website in October, 2012. We tanked in late December for our most important keywords. Simply GONE. Holy C---! It was devastating to say the least. Thankfully, we have a lot of work due to current clients and referrals, but the phone got quiet. That's a deadly sound.15 years of comfort zone gone. I still don't know precisely why it happened, it may have been a number of factors. But I've learned a huge amount through this crisis and can honestly say that I'm glad it happened. How weird is that? But what other fire under my butt would have gained me so much curiosity, fascination, engagement and excitement with deepening my scant knowledge? A week ago, we got our first report showing us that we have now gotten back our positions on page 1 for the 10 keywords that matter. It's continuing to improve according to today's report. So now that I've gotten somewhere- and I am well aware that it may not stick and there is still more to do -it's time to shout out a great big "Thank You". Truly, I don't think I could have survived this situation without SEOMoz and all you wonderful Mozers answering my frantic questions and lending your expertise and support to my situation. It wasn't only my own questions and the responses to those that helped me through this. I have been essentially addicted to reading a vast majority of all the posted questions because it's so dang interesting. So I've been learning bucketfuls from other people's questions and responses. My own personal SEOMoz education. It's only just begun. What an incredible culture and community we have here. I feel I can say "we" now because I am beginning to feel a part of it. And I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. I love this place. Thank you!

What SeoMoz tool am I thinking of?
A few months ago I found a tool on Moz that did keyword link research. It is not keyword analysis either. It took a word and turned it into links such as dir:cabinet. I can't find it or remember or it. Does anyone else know? (I know this description sucks, sorry about that)

Can I prevent some pages from being crawled from SEOMoz spider and still not affect Google Spider?
Well, basically that's the question 😄 Can I prevent some pages from being crawled from SEOMoz spider and still not affect Google Spider? This is, I have more than 10.000 pages on the website, and I am not interested in having reports for many of them, but I still wanna get SEO visits on them, so I want Google to crawl it easily... Thanks!

Why is the SEOmoz customer service on this site so awful?
Half the time the tools don't work and there isn't any accountability. Has anyone else had the same experience?

How Does On Page Analysis work
Hi guys, I just need to run something past you. when I look at my on page analysis I have 5 key terms I am focusing on. For instance one of them is "computer backup". According to the report the current grade is 'F' when looking at site page "/" which I assume is the home page.
Moz Pro | | cubetech
When I do a lookup on other pages of the site it gets a ranking of A. Which is good. But since the hompage ranking went from A to F my rankings have definitely been affect. So i guess my questions are: does "/" mean the hompage, or all pages overall. What should I really be looking at here. I am assuming that you select certain pages to target certain key words. Should i be focusing like this, or more to the "/". Thanks Guys hoping to clear this one up.0 -
SEOmoz v's Google Webmaster Keyword Ranking
Hi, how accurate is SEOmoz keyword ranking v's Google Webmaster? Some Keywords in SEOmoz say I'm in position 3 in Ireland for some Keywords and in Google Webmaster they are figures like 16. I understand in Google Webmaster that the keyword position is an Average What should I be going by and what is the credibility of both ranking estimators?
