Issue: Duplicate Page Title

When you are in Error status for Duplicate Page Titles - but it is because of the root domain:

- How to you go about changing the title of the same page without looking un-natural.
My client has built his site with the - index file pulling to the root - but the crawlers are seeing TWO separate pages - when in reality they are the same.
Riddle me this batman?

Agreed, although you may want to consider using a canonical link instead of a 301, both methods will work, but canonical links are increasingly replacing 301's in the scenario you have outlined

Description tag not showing in the SERPs because page is blocked by Robots, but the page isn't blocked. Any help?
While checking some SERP results for a few pages of a site this morning I noticed that some pages were returning this message instead of a description tag, A description for this result is not avaliable because of this site's robot.s.txt The odd thing is the page isn't blocked in the Robots.txt. The page is using Yoast SEO Plugin to populate meta data though. Anyone else had this happen and have a fix?

Duplicate Content Issue in Magento
Hi I need help in resolving the duplicate content issue on my magento site I got a product My main product url is https://www.oakfurnitureking.co.uk/shop-by-product/boston-solid-oak-4-drawer-chest and it got variation of url see below that are causing duplicate content issue , I have inserted the canonical tag on the below url and my main url is https://www.oakfurnitureking.co.uk/shop-by-product/boston-solid-oak-4-drawer-chest but still moz is showing it as duplicate content. Solve duplicate content issues by using robots.txt
Hi, I have a primary website and beside that I also have some secondary websites with have same contents with primary website. This lead to duplicate content errors. Because of having many URL duplicate contents, so I want to use the robots.txt file to prevent google index the secondary websites to fix the duplicate content issue. Is it ok? Thank for any help!

It looks like there are several title tags on my homepage. This was done presumably to embed titles for pop up windows. This is causing an error report in DMOZ. Do the engines also veiw this negatively?
My homepage has a normal title tag, but when I look in the code I find the developer also added title tags for pop ups within the homepage code. Is this causing an issue with the search engines?

"City page" links in footer of home page: Spammy?
Is listing a bunch of links to city pages in the footer of a home page considered "spammy" to Google? (ie- Chicago Alarms, Illinois Alarms, Naperville Alarms, etc.) What are the negative affects this might have on ranking, if any?

I'm working on an adult dating site review blog and am hoping to build links to the category pages. It's a wordpress blog so the posts are categorised by topics. However can you tell me if there is enough content on the page for google to identify what the page is about? The problem is that the content of each category pages is pulled from the posts. What I think is needed is some static text on the page 2-300 words that use the keyword. Optimize Page Title - Advice
I am currently going through my site and re-doing the page titles to try and optimize each specific product's page. I know that having the part number as the first piece of text in the title is the best practice. My question is, if i add a bunch of terms to the title, after the part number, is that taking away from the important part (the product number)? For example, my product is Audi A4. The term i want to optimize for is Audi A4. Which would be the better title for ranking purposes? A) Audi A4 | Automobile or B) Audi A4 | Automobile | 4 Cylinder | Made in Germany Thanks for the advice!
