Related posts Wordpress plugin

Hi,
I was wondering what Wordpress plugin you are using to add related posts to your blog posts. I would need one that allows you to pick the related posts manually and doesn't break the on-page SEO.

I recently had a bad experience with a related posts plugin - I had a client site go down for a few hours, and had to deactivate it because it was causing too much CPU load. Apparently most related posts plugins run multiple queries multiple times, which is hard on the server.
(Maybe someone with more server/MySQL experience can provide a good explanation as to why this is).
I ended up going with the "Efficient Related Posts" plugin as a replacement. It seems to be working fine so far, and we've had no more issues with CPU usage. It sounds like it will do what you want as well:

This is only based on my experience, though, so please take the recommendation with a grain of salt - test first!

Does posting frequency matter?
Right now my company is blogging five days a week, which is way more than our competitors and most other companies do. Back last September, we dropped our blogging frequency to once a week or so, and our organic conversions dropped. I had ascribed that to the drop in our blogging frequency, but now I have my doubts: maybe it was a rise in competition, or part of a larger drop that has been going for over a year and a half. My question to you is: what has been your experience when your posting frequency (or your clients' posting frequency) has dropped? Have you seen a drop in rankings, or have you held fast? What is the easiest and most scalable way to add links from one page to a related page entry?
We have a Spanish language reference site, and want to link related entries to each other. For example, the entry for "home" can link to the page with the entry for "home away from home." What is the best and most efficient way to do this at scale?

Do comments count as page content, as it relates to the length of content on a page?
I understand Google likes long content, and I make all my pages at least 500 words of unique and good content. But there is something I am curious about. Do they also count comments as content? The reason I'm asking is that I'm considering creating a Q&A site, where I'd control the questions, making sure they would be good ones and not duplicates, and then have people add answers. In reality, I'd be populating most the questions as first, and most definitely supplying a very good and long answer to questions. The answers would likely be in the form of comments, with highest ranked answers at top. So, I'm wondering what Google would think of a 100 word question, with a several hundred word answer in a comment, often followed by some other comments after that. Would it be a 100 word page or a 500+ word page?

Images for WordPress
I'd be grateful for any advice regarding sourcing, adding & attributing images/photos for my WordPress blog. Are there any rules on this? I have looked at some plugins: Insights, iFlickr, WP Flickr Manager, Photo Dropper. Forum Site: Content Value Post Panda
I run a forum website built on Wordpress. We're about two years old. The theme of the site is a directory of attorneys, with each directory listing having its own blog account on our site. Through this platform, we receive 75-80 blog posts now every month of varying quality from our users. QUESTION: A good number of the blogs published on our site are also published on the attorney's law firm site as well (they're syndicating on our site). Will this hurt our site in light of Panda? A lot of the syndicated content is very well written and insightful. By contrast, Will non-syndicated but average to below average posts hurt our site? The authors almost always link back to their firm site. Would love some feedback on whether we should be happy about the syndicated content or whether we should potentially ban it?

WordPress Rankings ?
It looks for me that WordPress sites get to rank better for some reason ... I dont know wil you will agree with this one with me or not. The question is... do they hold their rankings for the certain keyword with a time? or they lose them as fast as they get them? Shouldn't be content rank the same across all platforms? Content is a content and it dosent matter how it's presented? is it the case with google? For example: Create Wordpress site for only 3 products, provide good content for those 3 products... and sell them with some of shopping cart plugins (any recommendations on the plugin?) Will I get rankings faster and keep them?
