Can you re sit the Google analytics IQ test?
-
Damn I just failed the Google analytics IQ test with a score of 65% You need 80% to pass...
My natural instinct is to resit but after 30 mins of googling around Ive got no answer to the following question:
"Can you resit the Google Analytics IQ test for free or do you have to pay again".
Any insights welcome...

Thank you for all your replies, having just eaten a giant slab of carrot cake and had the pi!s taken out of me from my fellow supportive colleagues I'm ready for a resit in 14 days, i can here the rocky music growing louder in the background

Just to confirm what Stefan has found there:

How long do I need to wait to take a test again?
You would need to wait 7 days from the completion of your AdWords exams before retesting. If you are taking the Analytics exam, the waiting time is 14 days.

I agree with Stefan - it would appear that it costs $50 every time you sit the test - this is a very useful article by slingshot SEO and it mentions the cost of the exam and resitting - http://www.seomoz.org/blog/google-analytics-certification-how-to-pass-the-gaiq-test

I googled and I found this:
"If you don’t pass the exam, you can retake it after 14 days, but you must pay another $50 each time you do."

Android Webview & Safari (in-app) without any referrer information in Google Analytics
I've got a client that gets a considerable amount of traffic that: Enters on an interior page (that we are running properly tagged ads for on various platforms) Bounces Has a browser of either Android Webview or Safari (in-app) which I believe indicates the website is being viewed within a mobile app Has no referrer data: (direct) / (none) We've tested several scenarios (Facebook app, Gmail app, etc.) and ruled them out. Anyone know what this might be? Thanks in advance!!

How long does Google Analytics credit a source?
I was under the impression that GA credits the source with a conversion if it is the source for the current session but it seems that if the user returns later that the source may still be credited. Is this the case? How long does GA credit a source?

Tracking Google places (7 pack listing) traffic in google analytics
Is there a way to see Google Places traffic (traffic from users clicking through the 7 pack listings) segmented in Google analytics ? Normally is it just lumped together with the organic traffic ? Can you see the search phrases used to find your site, or do they also show up under 'not provided' when from Google Places. Im aware i can see some limited data in the Google Places analytics, but these seem to be 2 days behind when ever i view them.

How does switching to HTTPS effect Google Analytics?
We are looking at making our site HTTPS. We have been using the same Google Analytics account for years and I like having the historical data. All of our pages will be the same, we are just going to redirect from the http to https. Does anything need to be done with Google Analytics? What about other addons such as Optimizely, Crazy Egg, or Share this?

Weird Google Analytics tracking question
I have a client that has a market place site, where people list goods and sell them, think something like Etsy. Instead of developing a system to show the users page views and things like that, does it sound reasonable to let them enter a Google Analytics property on the pages they list on, then let them monitor through GA? Does anyone see any fatal flaws in this thinking?

Testing IP Exclusion Filters in Google Analytics
(I hope I haven't missed something simple 😉 I have add IP exclusion filters in Google Analytics. What I haven't been able to determine is how to test to see if it is working. I'd imagine there would be a dip in traffic but if a site is low volume it might not even register. Thanks!

Google Analytics Options
A couple of months ago, I read about a new web stats application that is real time but more importantly let's you track user actions on a page (i.e. which buttons were clicked for example). This information would obviously be very helpful in continuing to improve site performance. Anyone have suggestions or know the name of this application? I do not mind paying but am not looking for an enterprise class application.
