Multiple visits with 100% bounce from 1e100.net
-
Hi guys, I'm seeing multiple visits via an Adwords campaign from domain 1e100.net. I've found that this domain is related to Google's safe browsing feature, and thought perhaps it's Google checking that my landing page is not a phishing site, but multiple visits in the one day? I've updated my destination url a couple times, but certainly not 10+ times. These visits are showing up as a bounce - they come in to my landing page, do nothing, then exit. Interestingly, when I break down the visit by originating country, they come from the US, whereas my paid search campaign is limited to Australia only. Would appreciate any thoughts Cheers, Jez

I got this one yesterday as well. All of the sudden I saw 200-300 visitors in the live screen (live view Google analytics). When checking more in-depth all these 1e100.net records were tracked as different keywords (about 30+ different keywords) from organic search.
I see the explanation from Google, but I don't understand why they do this (is it just normal crawlers) and why they don't filter it out of Analytics?

Nothing to worry about
"1e100.net is a Google-owned domain name used to identify the servers in our network.
Following standard industry practice, we make sure each IP address has a corresponding hostname. In October 2009, we started using a single domain name to identify our servers across all Google products, rather than use different product domains such as youtube.com, blogger.com, and google.com. We did this for two reasons: first, to keep things simpler, and second, to proactively improve security by protecting against potential threats such as cross-site scripting attacks.
Most typical Internet users will never see 1e100.net, but we picked a Googley name for it just in case (1e100 is scientific notation for 1 googol)."

Thousands of visits from Hyderabad (India) and from Dublin (Ireland)
Since yesterday, I am receiving thousands of visits from India and Ireland. Both of those are not our target audience. When looking at those visitors, they are mostly users on Chrome OS, with Chrome. Google Analytics shows me this traffic as organic traffic with the respective URL as keyword. My first thought was that it might be connected to me having set up an automatic ad campaign on AdWords three days ago, but I am having doubts, since google probably won't be testing all the links manually. My concern now is that our content is being scraped. Also, I am wondering why the traffic is shown as organic search.

Google Analytics showing my Adwords campaign bounce rate at 0%
I am relatively new to Adwords, and I can't figure out why the Adwords section of Analytics is showing all my site visitors at 0% bounce rate. Does that mean the account connection is not done right? Obviously Google ads are not a 0% bounce rate. If I can't get that to work, does anyone know how Google ads appear in Traffic? Is it Direct or Referral? I'm sure there's some simple answer I'm just not aware of, I would appreciate anyone's help. Thanks!

ASP.NET
I'm seeking best practices/articles/etc. on reviewing an ASP.net e-commerce site for SEO and Google Store purposes. Does excellent Ad placement (via Google Shopping and AdWords) have better CTR's than traditional AdWords text Ads (around 20% was the last figure I saw/heard which represents the percentage of people who click on an average AdWords ad). Thanks in advance!

Can you market to someone 30 days AFTER they visit your site via PPC?
Hi all, I'm looking to market to visitors 30 days AFTER they have been to a website. Their is a coupon this business wants to run every 30 days to its' repeat customers (and if they purchase again); thus, 30 days more will resume. I'm aware that your remarketing list can capture audiences from 30, 60, and 90 days past. I'm talking about future display ads running 30 days after visitor has cookies enabled. Thanks for your help! How to view the sources of visitors who bounced off in Google Analytics?
Hi there, we have a website with a more than 60% bounce rate. I'm trying to find out where these visitors (the ones that are bouncing off) are coming from, to what percentage are they coming from the PPC campaign, from organic search results or referrals. I suspect that the keywords from the PPC campaign are not relevant to the website content (and hence visitors are bouncing off). Does anyone know how to check this in Google Analytics? Thanks in advance!

Potential problems with multiple users of an adwords MCC
Morning all, I have had a query regarding granting access to an MCC account for people using various platforms. Now this a pretty specific query for an area outside my expertise, and conveniently both our PPC guys are on holiday so thought i would reach out to the community. Full request is this: "On the mcc I am slightly concerned about that, from experience I have run into problems especially with granting access for usage of API’s on an account, so if for example we wanted to use marin they would need access then another wanted to use adobe they would need another and if they are all sat under the SSM teams mcc that could be problematic or we would have to set up another." Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Tom.

Google Adwords Clicks v.s. Google Analytics Visits
Hi Guys, This question has been asked several times before but after doing some research, I haven't really found the right solution and/or explanation. I'm currently seeing a 30-50% discrepancy in Adwords Clicks and Analytics Visits, where there are more clicks than visits in most situations. E.g. 74,127 clicks v.s. 46,845 visits (34 add-to-carts, 67 initiated orders, and a revenue of $12,000). Can anybody in the forum help explain this? Thank you, Jurgen P.S. I've also looked at all the tracking codes and everything seems to be alright, I've checked if any internal redirects are stripping off parameters but to no avail. Lastly, I'm not sure if this is a behavioral issue here in SEA--will first click (Adwords) and last click attribution (Analytics) be the only explanation? P.S.S. I'm seeing the same discrepancies with Facebook ads and Analytics.
