Connecting facebook and twitter to your wordpress blog?
-
Does anyone know a good plugin for connecting facebook and twitter to your wordpress blog? I’d like it so when i make a new post on my blog it automatically displays on my facebook/twitter

You are thinking of Facebook widgets, you can find them here: http://www.facebook.com/badges/
This allows you to post content from Facebook to other sites, so what you are looking for should be there.

Is there a plugin or service like Twitterfeed that will post your Facebook updates to your wordpress blog?

This is a great answer, I was in need of this exact type of service. Kudos!

You don't want a wordpress plugin. You want to go to twitterfeed.com. here you create an account, tell them where your rss feed is located, and then it automatically checks your feed every hour for new entries. If there is something new, it will post it to twitter, facebook or other social sites in the format you request. I use it for all my wordpress sites, works great.
One formatting issue, you do have to make sure your feed has a date and time. This is how it checks for new content. I would recommend getting your feed on feedburner first, then registering it with twitterfeed.

Updating a Business Blog Article - Old or New Published Date
There are a few business blogs that I'm currently updating - include more details, information, case studies, statistics etc. The blog was originally published in September of 2016. Once I make the changes, do I keep the same original date or do I change the date to the day that i've uploaded the new information? Example:

BLOG, Sub-Domain or NEW Domain???
Hi, I have one online store using 2 differents domain: http://www.filtrationmontreal.com ( french language) http://www.furnacefilterscanada.com ( english language) A language switch at the top right of the store, give you access to a different language when shopping. I had to do this because, my shopping cart does not offert the possibilty to have a multyi-language store! Now I want to create a blog. What is my best option: 2 blogs with sub-domain. ex: http://www.BLOG.furnacefilterscanada.com and http://www.BLOG.filtrationmontreal.com one multil-language blog with a new domain linking to my online stores I would appreciate your advice on this. My goal is to increase traffic, rank better and increase sales by providing solid content on a blog. I will use Word-Press self host. I will buy a premium theme. I purchase themes from theme forest before. Do you have a favorite theme to suggest? Thank you for your help a support. BigBlaze

Blog Benefits
I read a very interesting answer by Andy Solo to a previous question in which he replied: "Use your blog to create some Tips & How-To's, optimize those blog entries for the long tail keywords and soon enough your blog will be the gateway into your website. Learn how to target longl-tail keyword searches and how to analyze keyword competition to find the right niche blog posts to create". With my own company site, www.nile-cruises-4u.co.uk which has a long-standing blog attached, www.nile-cruises-4u.co.uk/blog I always felt that the blog content greatly aided our top positions in Google.co.uk. However, over the last 12 months we have slipped right down page one and I wondered if the blog is still helping our site or if the emphasis/value has switched and Google is looking at a lot of other factors where we score badly? Wordpress Duplicate Pages/ URL's - Help !
Hi guys, I have been running SEOMoz for just over a month and slowly cleaning up one of my Wordpress Blogs. While going through the crawl reports I have noticed that I have duplicate pages showing on the crawl. For example, the main post would be; www.xxxxx.com/blog/post-title Then I see another URL which would be; **www.xxxx.com/blog/page/59 ** When I click on either URL it goes back to the actual post title URL. What's with these page URL's ? Isn't these two URL's showing duplicate content to the search engines ? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

On-Site Blog or Blog Service for Best SEO Results
I had a blog associated with my site, then I had to merge two Google accounts and to make a long story short, my old Blogger page won't transfer to the new account. So, I'm starting fresh. My Question: Would I benefit most from an on-site subdomain blog, adding content to my site on a weekly/monthly basis, or an off-site blog such as Blogger, linking back to pages and resources on my site? Then, any other juicy tips would be great. Honestly, I won't expect a large subscription base. There will be a natural draw for some trade associates, and I'll be linking and promoting them as well. Thanks for any input. I'm new to the community, and SEO, but really impressed with this community.

Are post tags on blogs still useful?
Hello I have a number of sites on Wordpress which all still use the post tag feature. Is this something that I should really be avoiding due to duplicate content issues in the url's of the site, or is it still something that can help SEO wise? I only ask as I did a crawl diagnostics report on SEOmoz and it found that 48 of my title elements were too short due to these tags in the URL's. If you do all suggest I keep using them, should they be 3 odd words which are keywords? Thanks in advance.
