Web 2.0 seo

How to use web 2.0 properties for SEO.IF we are posting articles to Web 2.0 do we need publish one article to all web 2 sites or unique articles to each web 2 site ?
-
Is that something you would feel comfortable explaining to a Google engineer? Also, if search engines did not exist, would you still want to do it?
The search engines want to see content created for users, not for trying to get rankings. Spinning articles doesn't do anyone any good, and they can make the brand look very silly.

Web2.0 sites are the lowest value links you can get imo and a waste of time.
remember
site.wordpress.com and website.wordpress.com are both on the same website, that being Wordpress.
No matter how many links you get on these blog sites, they still only count as 1 linking root domain which doesnt help SEO very much.
Dont waste you time spinning articles to submit on web.20 sites (Senuke X blasts etc) Rather spend your time creating unique articles and publishing them on different REAL websites. This is the difference between "Building" links and "earning links" (which do you think Google prefers)?

Thank you for your reply .What about spinning articles and putting Web 2.0
-
Try to always create useful and unique content. It's difficult and time-consuming, but well worth it in the end!

Hi Chandana,
No friend you don't submit one article on all web 2.0 sites. you have to unique article for every web 2.0 site.If you submit one article on all web 2.0 google count just 1 backlink.

Updating Youtube Videos: Does this Reset Your Views to 0?
Hello Moz Community, Our team is looking to update a few videos in our Youtube channel but are concerned that doing so will reset the current amount of views to 0 once the change has been made. Would anyone happen to know if this happens or if the views remain the same? Also, how do the updates to the videos affect rank and visibility? Thank you all for your help.

Can anyone recommend an SEO agency that has provided outstanding results?
We're looking to hire an SEO agency and wanted to see if anyone could personally recommend some. We do not currently have a resource dedicated to SEO, so the agency will be the driver in developing and implementing the strategy. UPDATE Our site sells custom products so while there are around 60 products, there are many variations of any given product (paper type, cover type, color, etc.). We do not have a physical storefront and we ship anywhere in the US and Canada. We are looking for SEO services, mainly link building, monitoring rankings, and on-site factors. We have a resource dedicated to content in-house so the agency would work closely with this person in building out a content strategy. We are open to agencies around the US but are located in Maryland so EST time zone would be preferable.

Video hosting - SEO
Hi, We host all of our videos on You Tube and use embedded links to display on our site. When people search keywords related to our videos they are linking back to You Tube through SERPs. Is there a way link SERPs to websites instead of You Tube? Any advice would be appreciated. Sean

Hint: the tool has features built in to help you analyze video rankings in universal search results. 🙂 We'd like to get feedback from a few beta users first, though. If you'd be willing to give us your honest feedback in return for getting to use the tool early (and getting to suggest features you'd like), please PM me. Thanks in advance!

Local Seo Help!
Hi everyone, Google Places is going to be the death of me. I have asked a few questions on this topic before but nothing seems to work. Here are some of my problems/concerns: It keeps deleting my description!? Have you seen this before? The "more about this place" section has not been updated since I claimed the listing over 3 months ago. The website it lists at the top of that section is our old website address which no longer works. The site was through a site builder and the company will not forward the domain to the new site. Are there any companies or services that can help build a great profile and help increase my rankings? I am starting to think this is over my head. Do I delete the page and start over? Any advice? Please! As a whitehat SEO how do you manage in a highly competative market?
I have a competator that has literally hundreds of sites like this: http://www.wire-shelf.com/tag/cleaning/ that don't have a huge amount of page authority, but he is getting citations out of all of them. The site is obviously useless, and just a place for some SEO company to keep adding more links to their various clients, and creating google citations for them at the same time. Once you have filled out your information on every single local database and obtained all the legit citations you can, your competitors are still beating you by having more citations, from various sites like the one above. Is there any way to stay whitehat and actually succeed? or should i just follow suit, and make 100 crappy websites full of crap and put links in them. seems silly, but it seems like the only way to compete these days.
