I notice advertisement hyperlinks on my site such as hyperlinks on my test gift, fill out etc. I never put hose links but somehow it shows up on firefox. Does anyone experience this?

Thank you all

Hey,
It's not showing up on my Firefox, which makes me think it could be one of your Firefox addons which is doing it. Try disabling your plugins through entering
about:plugins
As the URL, then try reloading the page.
All the best,
Stuart

I don't see these links in Firefox or anything in the source code that screams "ads".
I suspect they are being added either by a browser addon you have installed (since you only mention that they appear in Firefox) or some other adware you have on your computer.
Try disabling all browser plugins to see if the links are still there.

Wordpress / Full URL In Menu Box
I came across an article online (not Moz) that says adding the full url in a menu is a Google standard. So when you make a menu link you put "www.example.com/page" instead of "/page". What are your thoughts on this? Any real reason to? Y840pbN lrwZPDj

SEOmoz and Wordpress SEO plugin
I made a lot of changes with Wordpress SEO by Yoast before I signed up with SEOmoz. But SEOmoz doesn't seem to see those changes. I am still being told I have multiple meta descriptions. I don't know why but SEOmoz is seeing the default meta description and not the one I wrote using the Yoast plugin. How can I get SEOmoz to see those changes? Edit: Google has not updated all the changes I made with Wordpress SEO.

How to handle wordpress tags
Hi fellow SEO mozzers, I am getting 'duplicate content' errors when our site is crawled, mainly down to our WordPress blog and how we have handled tags. Currently, they are being crawled and as such are regarded as duplicate pages. I have read several different articles on how to handle tags. Some suggest noindex the tag URL's. Others suggest to optimize them and allow them to be indexed since Google has confirmed they won't penalize a WordPress site for having archive pages that publish and point to the same content. It will select the best link to represent the cluster of links. Over the past few months, nearly 4% of our WordPress traffic have been referred by tag pages listed in search engines. Initially I was going to noindex the tag pages, but going on the above info I wonder should I leave them as they are? Or is the issue that having duplicate content will lead to inefficient crawling? Any views/opinions on how best to handle this?

Adding keywords to URL's
I understand the importance of having the keyword in the URL (at least now I do). When I created my site (www.enchantingquotes.com), I was completely ignorant about SEO. So....question is...how do I go about adding keywords to already done pages? Do I create a new section and then redirect - or do I have to basically recreate pages? Thx much 🙂

H1 tags in WordPress - could someone clarify this please?
Hey there. I am building a site and am confused by the whole H1 tag thing in WordPress, perhaps someone could clarify please? When I generate a new page or post I of course enter the page or 'post title' which generates following HTML code class="title">Used Containers So I was thinking, ok great now I have a H1 tag! Great...But no, according to the Yoast plugin (which uses a company called Linkdex for it's on page analysis) I don't have my keyword 'Used Containers' in any of my headings. I then experimented by adding another H1 heading of 'Used Containers' in my WordPress page copy area and saw that it shows up written in my page source as Used Containers (so without the class="title"> bit in my first H1). Could anyone be kind enough to explain: The difference between the two and any known impact on SEO. What is the proper way of optimizing H1 tags in WordPress? Thanks so much!

How to optimize a wordpress blog
I’m helping a client optimize a word press blog, and I’m not that familiar with Wordpress. The site is www.athleticfoodie.com. At first I was treating it like a normal website, where the categories would be optimized like pages on a website. However, I now realize that categories don’t have any content on them, so I can’t really optimize anything other than the names. Are the following things the best way to handle on-page optimization for a blog? Optimizing the homepage & domain: Find ways to incorporate the most important keywords into the elements on the main frame of the site: Navigation menu, Widgets, Category names, Alt Images. Optimizing the categories: For the posts within the categories (i.e., photos), work to make sure the category keywords are worked into the post titles (but not too much to seem spammy) Optimizing specific posts. Work keywords into the text and images. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
