Hi,

Does anyone know of a reliable social metrics tool?

So far I've tried Open Site Explorer, Tom Anthony's tools and SEO Quake

With each one of them I get very, very different numbers.

Keyword Difficulty Tool Ranking

I'm using the keyword difficultly tool to help me create a a list of 5 keywords (out of approx 50-60) to optimise pages for on a site. However I don't want to just choose the top 5 if 3 of them are too competitive and not worth targeting. From anyone's experience, for a small, new web company who has no pages optimised at this point, do you think there is a keyword difficulty score that I should create a hard limit on? So for instance, with a group of keywords, to only target keywords that have a difficulty score of 60 or below because anything higher would be too difficult to optimise the pages for in this stage of the sites development. I'm looking for good outbound link profiling tool...

Hello all, Just a brief question... does anybody know of a good link profiling tool which will give me a list of URLs that are linked to from a specific website? Essentially, I'm looking for the polar opposite of OpenSiteExplorer as I'm not interested in the inbound links, only the outbound links. Thanks, Elias

Tool bar - Analyse page - Link data

Hi all, Need a little help to understand this link information, if you go to our toolbar it show 1.6 million links on 224 root domains. when you analyse the page using the Tool bar. the link data show the page as having over 3000 internal links but when you go page attributes it shows a more complementary 92 page links we have a menu to all our pages and I am wondering if this is being registered in its entirety

Where is the keyword difficulty tool data sourced from?

I also use Market Samurai, and I've noticed what seem to be big discrepancies with the keyword data presented by this (data comes from Majestic SEO) and the Keyword Difficulty Tool. To take just one example, I analyze the term "how to remove tea stains" In the Keyword Difficulty Tool, this returns the following: Root Domain Linking Root Domains: 2,233 Page Linking Root Domains: 4 When I use Market Samurai, however, the data returned is: RDD (Domains linking to this domain): 19,911 RDP (Domains linking to this page): 19 I thought that these two metrics were the same for both tools, but I've written them out in case someone sees a difference. As I say, Market Samurai data is sourced from Majestic SEO - a reputable SEO company - but I have no idea where the Keyword Difficulty Tool data is from, nor why these differences are so pronounced? Are they indeed the same metrics in both cases, or am I missing something? Any insight would be much appreciated.

Does SEOmoz have a keyword visibility report / tool?

Know of a tool where I can show the overall success of a set of keywords, us vs. the competition? A visibility report where a #1 ranking is worth 30 points, #2 is worth 29, so on and so on down to #30 worth 1 point, outside of the top 30 is worth nothing. (something like this). Trying to show an overall visibility scorecard, not sure if I can do it here or with some other tool. Didn't see it on Raven. Thanks!

Moz tool bar showing less links

Just checked our links for a couple of our sites and noticed that the number of inbound links has dropped from around 55,000 to 13,000 on one and from 6000 to 700 on the other. GWMT still showing the previous amounts. Anyone else experienced this over the last few days?

Are there any good "geo location" seo tools.

Does anyone know of a good seo tool ( either in seomoz, or another website ) that will allow me to search google from different geo locations. For example, if I wanted to see how my company ranks for the term "computer repair" in redding california and sacramento california.
