Number of occurances of a keyword

At the moment my site is down due to issue at the datat centre so please don't ask for teh url as it will be some time before it is back up and running.
On one of my pages I am targeting two related keyword phrases e.g. "How to use Widgets" and "Using Widgets"
Each of these phrases appears once each in the Tile tag, H1 tag and meta description and two or three times in the body text. Which I beileve is current best practice.
However the word Widgets appears more 60 times in total could this be hurting the rankings of the other two phrases?
Many Thanks

Thanks for the answers and suggestions.
Yes my friend did answer "widgets"
I have printed it and and read on paper rather than screen and now it does make f or some bad reading so changes are to be made.
Reading the link from eyepaq help me decide not to split the page into two as then the content would have been too thin.
So once again many thanks

Have a friend reading the page and ask fast "whats your name" after that.
If he will reply: "Widgets" then you are going over board with the keyword on page
Just kidding - anyway, the friend approach works well - have someone that is not familiar with the site to read the page and if at a first glance it will make sense and it's you are not going over board with how many times you are saying it then it's ok.
A very good guideline that you can use, that if you manage to de-attached your self from the site, can really help.

Keyword density is irrelevant unless you are just spamming the crap out of the page with it. Assuming you are writing naturally I'd have to guess its a really long page to get your partial keyword in there 60 times. If you aren't writing naturally, fix it of course. If however its not a big block of text we are talking about here but rather an ecommerce page with a ton of product listings that just happen to contain the word (for example its a page listing different types of boots and thusly the word boot appears a bunch of times) I think google is smart enough to figure out whats going on there and not ding you for it.
Hope that helps.

Changing posts that target same keyword to target SIMILAR keywords
Hello, I'm new to SEO and until the last year I was not aware that creating content that target same keywords would make Google choose only one to rank better. Can I leave the best page (highest ranked one) as it is and change the rest that target the same keyword to target similar keywords ? Just a simple example: I have two pages targeting "best supplements to muscle gain" Leave the best one targeting that keyword and now I change the content of the other to target "best supplements for muscle size" This is the smartest move or I'm missing something here and will make things worse ? Ex: maybe some of tthose pages with same keyword arent ranking for the keyword I want but are ranking for another one that I dont know. I'm really insecure about making changes and end up getting worse results.. Thank you (sorry for my bad english)

Keyword at homepage
Hi there, this is the url of my homepage: http://www.sehaidoyamama.com/piensapiensa/ PiensaPiensa is not my keyword. I have selected a keyword to optimize the homepage. Does anyone know how to include the keyword in the url of the homepage? I tried to do it in the "pages" section of wordpress but I wasn't able to do it. The home page doesn't allow to change the url. Is it important to set up a keyowrd in the url of the homepage? Is it appropiate from the usability perspective? Thanks

KeyWord Density?
What is an acceptable density for a keyword? It's wise to push it as close to spam without sacrificing user experience, correct? I read an article on SeoMoz (outdated I think) that mentioned 6%. If it's a keyword phrase, do you have to make sure you don't go over the density level of a particular word in the phrase. If it's a three word phrase, do you have to not use any one word more than X% or just monitor the exact keyword.

Keyword Placement in Page Title - will changing it make a big difference?
Hiya guys I've noticed since changing my Title of my forum from: Talk Nightlife | Nightlife and Clubbing forum for the UK to Talk Nightlife | Nightlife Forum and Clubbing Guide for the UK (current) ... That its jumped from 22nd to 10th in google for term "nightlife forum" Am wondering, because of the on site optimisation tool telling me I should put the keyword to the front to something like eg: Nightlife Forum | Talk Nightlife Clubbing Guide for the UK Will changing the Keyword and putting it to front of the Title make a big difference? Your thoughts please guys Cheers Luke

On-page keyword usage
SEOMOZ gave me all zeros for keyword usage. Why? The site is www.grass2greens.com and the keywords are "Asheville Landscaping Edible." The site includes these words in the title page and throughout the body text. I am not really sure, but maybe one cause for these low keyword usage ratings might be redirects or some meta tag issues, but I am really not sure. Any ideas?

Do keywords ride solo or do they have sidecars?
"No man is an island", so say brother John Donne. But, my fellow SEO-ers, is the same true of keywords? That is... deep breath... If I am ranking as number one for a short-tail keyword, like for example: "fruit salad", does that have any sway on the rankings for other longer tail keywords, like for example, "tropical fruit salad london" or "cheap fruit salad", or is every keyword that we would track in our campaigns completely independent with rankings dependant on work done on that sole keyword? Thanks for your advice in advance.

Number of links in breadcrumb
Does google take the number of links in breadcrumb as a indicator to the depth of the page in the site structure? That will mean that a page with 5 links in the breadcrumb is a page very far away from the index, therefore a less important page.
