Preview not available in SERPS & Google Webmaster

Hi, I have a question regarding Google - for a site I am working on I cannot see Instant Preview, in my SERPS and also in Google Webmaster there is no blocked robot txt file and I can't figure out why I have screenshots for all my other sites? If anyone can help much obliged. L

Done some research on your problem and here are my findings on it. Sorry I not sure about it but you can try it out:
From Google Webmaster: ( Read text in bold)
In addition, embedded video or other rich media may not be visible in Instant Preview. The preview generator renders JavaScript, AJAX, CSS3, frames, and iframes in the same way that a Safari / Webkit-based browser would. It currently does not support Silverlight or Java applets, which may be shown as a "puzzle piece" in the preview image.
What I find in your site ?
Check first line of your HTML code. Here it is:
**<html xmlns="<a class="attribute-value">http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml</a>" dir="<a class="attribute-value">ltr</a>" lang="<a class="attribute-value">en-US</a>" **xmlns:og="<a class="attribute-value">http://opengraphprotocol.org/schema/</a>">
**Solution:** When I open the "**http://opengraphprotocol.org/schema/" url, the web page get redirected to "http://ogp.me/".** Read the first line of ogp.me it says that "The Open Graph protocol enables any web page to **become a rich object** in a social graph". Hope this help you out.....

Google Webmaster Image Index Issue

Date apppearing in SERPS
Anyone have an idea why dates might be appearing in search results for a small number of my pages and not others? There is no date on any of the pages themselves and nothing in the back-end CMS indicating dates should appear. Some of the dates (presumably from when the snippets were originally created) are over a year old and make all the information look terribly out of date. Any ideas?

Why is google webmaster tools ignoring my url parameter settings
I have set up several url parameters in webmaster tools that do things like select a specific products colour or size. I have set the parameter in google to "narrows" the page and selected to crawl no urls but in the duplicate content section each of these are still shown as being 2 pages with the same content. Is this just normal, i.e. showing me that they are the same anyway or is google deliberately ignoring my settings (which I assume it does when they are sure they know better or think I have made a mistake)?

Tags showing up in Google
Yesterday a user pointed out to me that Tags were being indexed in Google search results and that was not a good idea. I went into my Yoast settings and checked the "nofollow, index" in my Taxanomies, but when checking the source code for no follow, I found nothing. So instead, I went into the robot.txt and disallowed /tag/ Is that ok? or is that a bad idea? The site is The Tech Block for anyone interested in looking.

Disappeared from Google with in 2 hours of webmaster tools error
Hey Guys I'm trying not to panic but....we had a problem with google indexing some of our secure pages then hit those pages and browsers firing up security warning, so I asked our web dev to have at look at it he made the below changes and within 2 hours the site has drop off the face of google “in web master tools I asked it to remove any https://freestylextreme.com URLs” “I cancelled that before it was processed” “I then setup the robots.txt to respond with a disallow all if the request was for an https URL” “I've now removed robots.txt completely” “and resubmitted the main site from web master tools” I've read a couple of blog posts and all say to remain clam , test the fetch bot on webmasters tools which is all good and just wait for google to reindex do you guys have any further advice ? Problems with google cache
Hi Can you please advise if the following website is corrupted in the eyes of Google, it has been written in umbraco and I have taken over it from another developer and I am confused to why it is behaving the way it is. cache:www.tangoholidaysolutions.com When I run this all I see is the header, the start of the main content and then the footer. If I view text view all the content is visible. The 2nd issue I have with this site is as follows: Main Page: http://www.tangoholidaysolutions.com/holiday-lettings-spain/ This page is made up of widgets i.e. locations, featured villas, content However the widgets are their own webpages in their own right http://www.tangoholidaysolutions.com/holiday-lettings-spain/location-picker/ My concern is that this part pages will affect the performance of the seo on the site. In an ideal world I would have the CMS setup so these widgets are not classed as pages, but I am working on this. Thanks Andy
