Hello,

I'm getting a lot of Seomoz warnings about rel=canonical issues. Is the code below ok to put on our (drupal website) blog?

link rel="canonical" href="http://www.example.com/blog/my-awesome-blog-post"<

(with the > reversed).

Hey OT,

the canonical notice will show up as soon as you have a canonical on the page.

SEO Tools cannot analyze if the canonicals are set up correctly or not, they can just warn you if a canonical is there or not. The example link you provided is ok.

I've got my hands tied, and I cannot install a blog like Wordpress on the domain I'm optimising. My question is, where then, would the next best place be? I've heard stories about subdomains being completely useless for affecting SEO of the root domain, and so anything external would probably have the same effect, correct? Should my client copy and paste his blog posts onto other professional sites?

I have a client who is an Attorney and participates in a couple of different Q and A legal sites. One of these legal sites is recommending to my client that he copy and paste his blog posts onto his profile page on the Q and A site. I understand my client wanting to copy and paste his blog posts onto these sites, as it will not only get his content in front of a larger audience, but also lend credibility. However, I've always heard that that could cause some duplicate content problems. Will my client's blog likely get penalized by google for copying and pasting his blog posts onto other relevant sites?

When Search for Blog Guest and to Post, What is the FIRST Metric to lookk at???

I have a online store selling furnace filters. For link building, I started to post on guest blogs I'm new to posting on guest blog and I would like to know what are the most important metrics to look at when selecting a blog? The P.A. ??? I did a few test and this is what I did: in the Goolge-BLOG tab option search for K.W like: ''furnace filters'' ''air furnace filters'' Look at Google results and (MozBar is installed on browser) slect blog with P.A. of 15 or higher Read the post and if I have a relevant content to add, post on the blog and had my infos, store url... Same keywords different posts

Ive read through past articles and this has come to mind, when wiritng instructions in parts, so for example Scuba Diving part 1 - Equipment Checks Scuba Diving Part 2 - Choosing a buddy Scuba Diving part 3 - Check and double check With the keyword through the article being scuba diving. Looking at previous posts if they are on multiple pages with teh keyword Scuba diving then link juice would be shared but as an article then pages make more sense for reading. Is it best for SEO to have it all on one page or is it best to have for part one as scuba diving , part 2 as diving, part 3 as diving equipment, Although other pages are taken up with those keywords. So i suppose what im asking is will the same keyword over multiple pages devalue the work on the first post.

Best Blog Post Format for SEO?

Wondering what the best way is to display blog posts, and organize a blog in general, for maximum SEO benefit. Displaying the entire blog post for the reader to scroll down right on the main page of the blog? With previous posts displayed farther down on the same page. Displaying a snippet/paragraph of the post with a link to continue reading - this way each blog post has it's own dedicated page? And the main blog page can display more topics. Any additional ideas or suggestions to think about would be great. Thank You!

Why does my lousy little blog Rank number 1 on Google?

Search "Google Places Changes." My Blog, www.salesjumpstart.net/blog is ranked first. Has been for a week. Why? Makes no sense. I have been getting many first page Google results for 3 and 4 word keyword searches. How often should I write a blog post?

I'm sure this has been asked before but I've searched for it in the Q&A Forum and couldn't find any relevant answer. I was thinking that a weekly post would suffice for my blog because the audience isn't one which would be checking frequently + there aren't very many new developments in the industry I'm in that would necessitate more than that. However, I was told that if I can't blog consistently 2-3 times per week, I really shouldn't start a blog, as it would need that much posting. Thoughts on this?

Old articles in a blog

Hi, I would like to know your opinion about old article obsolete in a blog. Do you think it's preferable to totally delete them from Wordpress CMS? Considering the fact that Panda update measures "Bouncing Rate", "Time on site", and all that? Thanks for your opinion and advice! (Sorry if my english is not perfect, 2nd language 😉 )
