Keyword Analysis Tool

Can someone please enlighten me on the Keyword Analysis tool Matrix.
Does Domain Linking refer to the number of links back to that domain as a whole?
Also why is it that a page with a lower page ranking can be way ahead of one with a domain ranking that is way higher or vice-a -versa?
What is a good number to go after? what is actually attainable?
Thanks

The large number that says linking is both in the domain and out of the domain.
You want to look at the amount of C blocks pointing at your domain along with the amount of inbound domains and remember they only count the relevant to your sites subject.
I have no idea what you're trying to accomplish so I cannot tell you what a good number to go after is how bout this I will get 200 unique domain links that are all relevant to your industry from high authority sites then the sky is the limit as far as what's attainable look at Google's profile or Amazon don't think that there a large company so that they're cut out of different cloth than you it's not the case those companies were founded by people you're a person don't set limits go for it if it's what you want.
You want to pay attention to the bottom 3 lines and the link numbers and of course the circles showing follow or no follow if you have all no follows will you Have a problem.
May I suggest you internalizes this document http://www.seomoz.org/beginners-guide-to-seo it's a valuable piece of writing regardless if you are a beginner or not it's always a good reference and something everyone should read.
So get your moz trust & rank to a +5 at least and answering no that will not be easy but if you want to set a goal try that.
I hope I was of help to you,
Thomas

Need a keyword tool for the whole company
I alone cannot do keyword research on all of the online content that my company produces. There are about 10 publishing support teams who could do this research themselves, once trained, but I don't know which tool to suggest they use since they can't all use my MOZ login. Right now, those who do any research at all are using Google Trends. Wrong answer, but of course they are used to Trends for their social campaigns. Has your company dealt with this situation? I've looked at a few free keyword tools...each seems to have its plusses and minusses. **What would you recommend...either as a free tool or possible other workaround? **

Internal URLs competing for keyword
I have an affiliate site where we have reviews of bookmakers, which are optimized for the bookmakers name as a key word. We have seen a drop in rankings and at this point we are out ranked by a lot of pages including our own. We also have a community forum and write news and articles about the the bookmakers. The thing is, that these forum threads and articles often out rank our review pages, which are the pages we need people to land on in order to convert. This page: http://www.betxpert.com/bookmakere/bet365 is optimized for "bet365" and is at this point outranked by http://www.betxpert.com/artikel/ny-funktion-hos-bet365-afslut-vaeddemaal-foer-tid. This page actually links to the review. What should i do in order to increase ranks for my pages? Make the forum threads and articles crappy for the key word? Would it help to add a canonical link to the articles? Would it help to remove the meta tag for update time of the review, such that Google does not downrank for not being recent? -Rasmus

Keyword Search
Keyword search How low is too low for choosing to use a key phrase for one of your articles, website pages, etc. I see some with 100 local and global searches. Is this too low to really be spending the time working on this key phrase?

Google Trends not Consistent with Google Keyword Tool
Hi Everyone, I was doing a little Google Trends research on Real Estate and narrowed it down to my state. I have found that on Trends it is showing a two or three towns above the one I am living in showing that it gets a lot of search volume. They will put the top one as a 1 and then the others below it as like .87 or .675 etc. I am taking that as 87% of the top one or 67.5% of the top city in search volume. I checked these numbers against the Google Keyword Tool and found that my town still gets more exact visits (4 times the amount of the one Google Trends ranks #1) I can't see the actual search volume on Google Trends but was wondering....Which one do you trust? I have done some testing on it and realized that for the most part, the numbers in the keyword tool RARELY change. Do they maybe update it once per year? FYI: As you know I trended real estate so what I did on the Keyword tool is "Town State Real Estate" and looked at both Broad and Exact searches. I would appreciate any guidance you guys can give on how I should be paying attention to this data. Thanks!

Keywords in google's webmaster tools
how heavily do the list of keywords in google's webmaster tools reflect your ranking for those keywords? For example see this screenshot: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/39497/Screen shot 2011-06-04 at 7.22.31 PM.png we are a self storage company, and our first two keywords in google's webmaster tools are storage and self. the problem is nobody searches for self storage (from my keyword research). most people search for "storage +cityname" like "storage toronto" for example. so i guess my question would be this: would it be effective to change all the instances of "Self" on our website to "Toronto" or other city names to try to push the city names higher in google's webmaster tools keywords rank?
