Recommended Length for a Companies "Services" Page Content

I am in the process of revamping my company's website. I do WordPress Development, Design, and SEO consulting, and i'm running into a sort of writer's block when wring my services pages. For example, my page on WordPress Security has 388 words of "body" content, and I feel from a content perspective, it serves it's purpose, but from an SEO perspective it is considered a little light.
I really don't know what the SOP is here, because, I've literally seen competitors sites have a page on "WordPress Security" rank on the first page of Google with absolutely no content, an empty page.
I see a lot of the Moz posts are huge, thosands of words, and I know they perform very well (and they also have ton's of links / PR...etc) and I just want to do the right thing. I know sites like http://www.seerinteractive.com/our-services/search-engine-optimization have relatively short info pages as well.

I wouldn't set a fixed rule for number of words.
Here's a short list of what I do when writing content for a service:
- Determine the target audience
- Describe the service being provided
- Create personals
- Disqualify likely objections
- Provide your unique value proposition
- Add image(s), or data (charts) - if applicable
- Display testimonial(s) from the service
- Find the pages ranking for this service, see what they do well and find a way to do it better

Page Title
My website was hacked last November and then again last week. Prior to the hacking we were at number one in Google.co.uk for our main search term "nile cruises' for years. After last November's hacking we dropped to about position 4 and after last week we are at position 7. Ima rebuilding the lost data and I am having to create new Title and Description meta data for each of the indexed pages. I am taking the opportunity to try and ensure my titles and descriptions are good and the correct length, etc but wondered about the best title format. I set our home page title over the weekend as: Nile Cruise | Leading ABTA & ATOL Bonded UK Nile Cruise Specialist I was going to try and cover 3 keyphrases in the title like this: Nile Cruise | Nile Cruises | Nile Cruise Bargains But I thought that might look a bit spammy because the 3 phrases are very similar. Does Google pick up on words such as "in", "the", "and" etc?
If I have in my meta-title e.g Holidays Ireland, but i have in my description for grammer purposes Holidays in Ireland will google see these as 2 separate keywords and will SEOMoz grade me lower for doing this? Or is holidays Ireland included in Holidays in Ireland because google doesnt pick up on "in" ?? I would appreciate your help on this.

What is the recommended practice for badges and seals on the home page.
What is the recommended practice for badges and seals on the home page. They are currently at the bottom of my nav. menu and thus appear on every page. i have them nofollowed but does that still consume page rank. Is it best to get them on to the footer lower on the page or to perhaps not to have them on the home page and place them deeper on the site.

Hi, we have this products page, for example of a landing page:

http://www.redwrappings.com.au/products.php?c=australian-made&p=3 In SEOmoz, they are recognized as duplicate page contents.
What would be the best way to solve this problem? One easy way i can think of is to nominate the first landing page to be the 'master' page (http://www.redwrappings.com.au/australian-made/gift-ideas), and add canonical meta links on page 2,3 and so on. Any other suggestions? Thanks 🙂0
