Internal Linking Question(s)
-
Is it unwise to link internally to a page more than once on the homepage. I am reading that it is considered spammy. I am also reading that it passes PR twice to the internal page instead of just once...
Which is it?
Is there a way to stop passing PR to the "contact us" page. I watched an older video that Matt Cutts suggested a nofollow. Now I read that this strategy is a no no?
Which is it?
Thanks!

It's generally best practice to link in a way that's best for the user. As Nigel noted, it's common to have more than one link to the same page - especially if one is a navigation link. There's nothing wrong with this, but keep in mind that Google puts more weight on the first link to a page than second or third links.
Instead of stopping link-juice to your Contact page, how about making sure that link juice flows back to your most important pages? You could easily link to top resources on your site that your audience may be looking for, and this could benefit both your users and how Google views your site. (nofollow link sculpting was a practice popular a few years back, but it's not really used anymore by most SEOs)
Since you're leaning on-page SEO, here's a video Rand did you might like:

Hope this helps! Best of luck with your website.

Hi I would not worry if you have 2 links to the same page, especially if one is in your global nav. You can add a no follow however I would not worry about it. Many websites have the contact us in the global nav - Google knows about navigation items so instead pays more attention to links in the body of the pages. Google will only follow one instance of a link so it won't double up on the link juice being sent to the next page.. Finally dont have too many links on your home page - the page only has a certain amount of link juice so you end up diluting the juice too much if you have loads of links. All the best Nigel

We are planning to make our site available to several language, using the plugin WPML in Wordpress. The site should look with /es/, /fr, etc. If someone point to an URL in the spanish version, the english version get any benefit from it? (better search ranking or something like that). Some side question: WPML works fine with SEO and Moz?

First question, did i do this right? Second question if a site is linking to me on multiple pages on their site do i have to disavow each link or just the domain is enough. When i download the all links to my site it was around 5,000 from the 520 domains. I appreciate the help.

Author snippet image in results, question!
Hi, Quick question really, I can see how a Google+ profile picture showing up in the results can increase CTR and even trust but would this be a no no for a normal website? I mean if you had a website which offered personal training, so a brand rather than an individual would you not use this snippet? I've seen some website, even ecommerce sites using this tag to just increase their CTR.

IFRAMES - SEO Question
If 30 websites IFRAM my website, is there any SEO advantage for me? Does google register time on site, metrics on how far in to my site the user goes? I have a real estate site with listings (homes for sale). Agents want to use my listing feed on their sites via an iframe. The clients would be scrolling through my listings through an iframe. SEO advantages for me? Disadvantages for the real estate agent using my listings?

Too many links on a page?
On my blog posts, I have links to all the categories and months, dating back 5-6 years. This make the number of links on each blog page well over 100, which I understand might decrease the value of each page. Is there a problem with having more than 100 links on a page?

(i dont understand , how on this green earth asking a question would be wrong though) Please responds, PS : My Last question was posted on "On-Page / Site Optimization" It asked 3 questions, all related to Search Engine Visibility, and the primary question is about "If i used php script to detect google bot / yahoo bot / bing bot, and then redirect them to page that have EXACTLY same content, but a much more SEO Friendly one, will this effect my seo standing" The website in question is http://atlantagenset.com In which case that website is full flash BUT it can be opened through any phone (I have built a php that detected IF you are coming from any mobile devices, it will redirect you to the right HTML version of that page) arghhhh i have asked the question, and have not got any responds for 6~7 days, and it got deleted??!
