Why would only 1 pg of an 18 pg site be crawled?
-
I signed up yesterday. Added 4 sites. The one I really need data on now has only had 1 page crawled. The other sites have had almost all pages crawled (over 40 each) in one day.
What is wrong?
The main domain has a 301 redirect to another domain name is that the problem?
Is there something wrong at Google analytics? I dont manage this site and I'm picking up behind another firm..where should I start my discovery?
Thanks so much!

Here are some common reasons why only one page may be crawled in your SEOmoz campaign. Let us know if one of these isn't the cause and we'll dig deeper!

What's the URL? or URLs of the main domain redirected and the domain you are expecting to get indexed?
-
I will check the nofollow, but I'm feeling like it is the 301 redirect from one top-level domain to another. The target domain has NO link juice at all and it has been live for about 6 months. Its possible the redirect site has not been seen by Moz, but its been on the web for the exact same time as the referrer domain.

One day is not a long time but look at the code on the site if you suspect something is wrong.Check out your meta robots tag and make sure you're not noindexing or nofollowing. Check your robots.txt file to make sure you're not blocking.
Or you can run this http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ sitemap generator and see if the are crawling your pages or bailing on the first page. If they are crawling your site Google most likely is unless you are specifically disallowing Googlebot which I doubt.

Unsolved Moz Pro crawl signaling missing canonical which are not?
Hi,
Moz Pro | | rolandvintners
I'm trying MozPro considering using it.
One of the tool which is appealing is the crawl and insights.
After quick use, I really question many of the alerts, for instance, I got a "missing canonical tag" on this url: https://vintners.co/wine/grawu_gto#2020 but when I check my markup, there's clearly a canonical tag: <link rel="canonical" href="https://vintners.co/wine/grawu_gto"> Anybody can explain?
I asked Moz Pro staff when being onboarded but didn't get an answer...
Honestly, I'm questioning the value of these crawls, or may be I miss something?0 -

18 404 errors on pages that are actually fine.
Hi, I just used the compain tool to look for errors on my site and it appears that seomoz crawler finds 18 404 errors on pages that are fine in my good. I do proceed with a URL rewritting on those pages, but navigation is fine. Some of the pages are: http://cassplumbingtampabay.com/about-us http://cassplumbingtampabay.com/commercial-services http://cassplumbingtampabay.com/drain-cleaning-repair ... Does anybody know what's going on?

Order of urls in SEOMoz crawl report
Is there any rhyme or reason to the order of urls in the SEOMoz crawl report, or are the urls just listed in random order?

How long is a full crawl?
It's been now over 3 days that the dashboard for one of our campaigns shows "Next Crawl in Progress!". I am not complaining about the length... but I have to agree that SEOMoz is quite addictive, and it's quite frustrating to see that everyday 🙂 Thanks

Crawl test tool from SEOmoz - which URLs does it actually crawl?
I am using for the first time the crawl test tool from SEOmoz and I do not really understand which URLs the tool is going to crawl. First, it says "enter any subdomain" --> why can´t I do the crawl for the root domain? Second it says "we'll crawl up to 3,000 linked-to pages" --> does that mean that the tool crawls all internal links that it can find on the given domain? Thanks for your help!

How do I find the most linked to page of a site?
I'm looking at a site for a potential link and am trying to find the most linked to page. The SEOmoz toolbar tells me the root domain (DA) is linked to by 660 root domains but the main URL (PA) is linked to by 38 root domains. I used open site explorer and got the same # of 38 root domains in the result. From the Top Pages tab, I clicked on the 2nd page down and the SEOmoz toolbar gives me 189 root domains linking to that page (PA). Then I ran a Linkscape report to see what that would say and I get 146 linking root domains. 1. Is this 2nd page down on OSE the most linked to page? 2. a. Is something off in these numbers?

b. How come OSE/Linkscape doesn't report the 660 root domains in the DA?0 -
Scheduling crawls between certain time periods
Hi, today SEOMoz crawled our site and it interfered with an email campaign that we sent out and pretty much brought our site to a crawl (seoMoz even reported numerous 4XX errors). Is there a way to tell the crawler to only allow indexing between certain time periods?
