Is it currently possible to have a company logo appear with a Google search result?

Hello,
We're experimenting with rich snippets. It seems fairly easy to attain authorship through Google and have a headshot appear in a search result...
However, we are wondering if it is possible to have a company logo appear (perhaps through rel="publisher"?). Surprisingly, I can't find much info on this.

Rel=publisher will display your company logo and Google+ page on the right hand side of branded search terms (search terms close to or exactly your company name).
Google will not allow you to upload a non-headshot (such as a logo) for a rel=author snippet that will appear directly in your search result.

I've considered this but would this be a problem considering it is not an author but a company? I'd like to see someone who is implementing this where they are using their logo.
Meaning wouldn't Google frown upon this?

the reason I ask is you say company logo. You could make your Personal & company photo the same in Google + photo your company logo and thus it would show up as you.
I did a little research and I think that is what you have to do is make them both one you can only have one unfortunately what I understand however these links I believe will shed a lot more light on this. I strongly suggest using a photo of yourself or your company's logo regardless and putting it as Google author

KEYWORDS: How can I find keywords to target now that the majority of searches have been hidden from keyword planner?
Hello Community, I am not an expert and I need some advice. So thank you for your time 🙂 I read that Google is not showing the same amount of search volume data it was showing before (like up until 2-3 weeks ago, after the NSA scandal) and that now it's changed the way we should look at which keyword groups to target since we dont know anymore how many people actually searched for these terms. Say I want to start a new site around the topic "french chocolate" (just joking, but say I want to). How do I find out today which is the most searched term in that keyword group/cluster? I mean this in terms of volume of searches. Please help, I need some guidance on how to approach my content developmente strategy from now on, I always heavily relied on keywords and that got me awesome results in less than a year! Google Analytics Tracking Miscount - Originating Around 5/24
Is anyone else experiencing an issue where it seems GA failed to track many of their visitors? This is why I think it's something on GA's end and not mine (and not natural): 1. No changes were made, site wasn't down, tracking code is correct and is "receiving data" 2. Referral, Direct and Organic traffic all dropped at about the same decline over the same period *3. Pinterest Analytics shows me being sent over 10 times more traffic every day than GA shows me actually receiving. In the screenshot, Pinterest shows 584 uniques while GA shows 43 for Sunday. I figure if something was broken, I wouldn't be showing ANY traffic and if it was natural, it wouldn't have happened on the same decline across all traffic mediums and Pinterest Analytics wouldn't be so far off. I saw a few people mentioning similar things on Google's forums and wanted to ask you guys if anyone noticed any issues? y8XAvwz.png pRsRAmK.png

Google update on Jan 17 2013 ?
Hi guys, Today ( Jan 17 2013 ) I am observing a lot of changes within google serp for a variety of keyword. im feeling like if there was a google update somehow. There seems to be few thread around the web that claim such an update ( or a panda refresh ) , were you affected ? Did somebady else noticed a huge SERP fluctuation within their primary keyword ? Convert Oganic ranking into Local Search Results
Hi, Right now, my website appears in top 5 results in organic SERPs, but I noticed that my business has gradually started going down, as my local results have been replaced by organic search results. Initially I used to rank in local results, but now, I appear in organic results so the no. of calls/day have decreased significantly. Now, I again want to appear in local search results instead of organic results. Please advice what should I do to remove my listing from organic search results and improve position in local search results PFA the screenshots for both the results for your better understanding. Problem with SOME Indian based SEO companies, HELP!
First of all I want to say that I hire 2 great Indian SEOs at my company and this question is in no way meant to offend, or single anyone out. However It's come to a point where the amount of emails we receive for "Ethical SEO, High PR Guaranteed Link building Services, SEO professionals etc" from Indian based companies is costing us a lot of time on a daily basis to filter out spam from real enquiries. Blocking their emails is not even working as they use gmail accounts and multiple domain emails so we can't keep up with them. I have even spoken to some of the owners of these 'companies' and they admit using different email accounts so as not to be blacklisted. They also seem to believe that the opt-out option (which is legally required when sending out promotional emails) is itself optional!!!!! Now when I asked how exactly they were getting my email they said that they get info from the, and I quote "first page of Google"!!!!! So my question is the following; is there anyway I can block my site from showing up in a particular country altogether? Again this is in no way attacking ALL Indian based SEO companies, my beef is with the 74 (we counted) different 'companies' that are flooding our email with offers P.S. Is anyone else having these issues?

What is the best method for getting pure Javascript/Ajax pages Indeded by Google for SEO?
I am in the process of researching this further, and wanted to share some of what I have found below. Anyone who can confirm or deny these assumptions or add some insight would be appreciated. Option: 1 If you're starting from scratch, a good approach is to build your site's structure and navigation using only HTML. Then, once you have the site's pages, links, and content in place, you can spice up the appearance and interface with AJAX. Googlebot will be happy looking at the HTML, while users with modern browsers can enjoy your AJAX bonuses. You can use Hijax to help ajax and html links coexist. You can use Meta NoFollow tags etc to prevent the crawlers from accessing the javascript versions of the page. Currently, webmasters create a "parallel universe" of content. Users of JavaScript-enabled browsers will see content that is created dynamically, whereas users of non-JavaScript-enabled browsers as well as crawlers will see content that is static and created offline. In current practice, "progressive enhancement" in the form of Hijax-links are often used. Option: 2

In order to make your AJAX application crawlable, your site needs to abide by a new agreement. This agreement rests on the following: The site adopts the AJAX crawling scheme. For each URL that has dynamically produced content, your server provides an HTML snapshot, which is the content a user (with a browser) sees. Often, such URLs will be AJAX URLs, that is, URLs containing a hash fragment, for example www.example.com/index.html#key=value, where #key=value is the hash fragment. An HTML snapshot is all the content that appears on the page after the JavaScript has been executed. The search engine indexes the HTML snapshot and serves your original AJAX URLs in search results. In order to make this work, the application must use a specific syntax in the AJAX URLs (let's call them "pretty URLs;" you'll see why in the following sections). The search engine crawler will temporarily modify these "pretty URLs" into "ugly URLs" and request those from your server. This request of an "ugly URL" indicates to the server that it should not return the regular web page it would give to a browser, but instead an HTML snapshot. When the crawler has obtained the content for the modified ugly URL, it indexes its content, then displays the original pretty URL in the search results. In other words, end users will always see the pretty URL containing a hash fragment. The following diagram summarizes the agreement:
