Is this because I setup my campaign wrong in seo moz or should I have my site setup differently to forward all traffic without the www to the www version? Or vise versa?

My host doesn't give me iis access but said they would set them up for me if I give them a list. I think it is time to change hosts!

If you have a cpanel access, can you get to IIS?
This is a walk-through copied while I was looking for answers. I don't have a lot of experience with Windows hosting so I hope it helps. As always, have backups when possible and if this doesn't make sense, it may be best to contact the host (or tell us who the host is so we can find an exact solution.)
1. In internet services manager, right click on the file or folder you wish to redirect.
2. Select "a redirection to a URL".
3. Enter the redirection page.
4. Check "The exact url entered above", and the "A permanent redirection for this resource".
5. Click "Apply". -
thanks for the clarification on that... this website is hosted on Windows... which does not allow you to use the .htaccess file for redirects... do you guys know a good alternative for windows? Thanks for any suggestions.

Claim them meaning add both to your Webmasters Tools. Then 1) set a preferred domain and 2) add rel=canonical tags. Then 3) a redirect would be good to finish it.

I think in this case 301 redirection would be good option. Why can't you permanently redirect non-www version to WWW or WWW to non-www. ( Before doing redirection please check domain authority & page authority. Do redirection on page having more domain & page authority.)

Thanks... when you say "claim" do you mean under the "preferred domain" ? I'm in Google Webmaster Tools > Settings?

You should claim both www and non-www in Webmasters Tools then choose one. Use that one on your moz campaign, as well as when linkbuilding online. That will give you the most consistent results.
Search rel=canonical and I'm sure you can find a lot of info on how to set it up appropriately.

Duplicate content on ecommerce
We have a website that we created a little over a year ago and have included our core products we have always focused on such as mobility scooters and power wheelchairs. We have been going through and updating product descriptions, adding product reviews that our customers have provided etc in order to improve on our SEO rankings and not be penalized by the Panda update. We were approached by a manufacturer last year about their products and they had close to 10k products that we were able to upload easily into our system. Obviously these all have standard manufacturers descriptions many sites are also using. It will take us forever to go through and change all of these and many products are similar to each other anyway they just vary in size, color etc. Will it help our rankings for our core products to simply go through and delete all of these additional products and categories and just add them one by one with unique descriptions and more detailed information when we have time? We aren't really selling many of them anyway so it won't hurt our sales. I'm clearly new to SEO and any help at all would be greatly appreciated. My main website is www.bestmedicalsuppliesonsale dot com A sample core category that we have changed descriptions for is http://www.bestmedicalsuppliesonsale.com/mobility-scooters-s/36.htm A sample of a category and products we simply uploaded would be at http://www.bestmedicalsuppliesonsale.com/Wound-Care-s/4837.htm I'm open to all suggestions I would just like to see my traffic and obviously sales increase. If there are any other glaring problems please let me know. I need help!

How to fix Duplicate Page Title
I have so many Duplicate Page Title issue on my website. www.soobumimphotography.com Though I had to use NAME + Area + Photographer on every title page so ended up something like this San Antonio Sports Photographer | Soobumim Photography : San Antonio Wedding Photographers | Soobumim Photography http://www.soobumimphotography.com/chicago-cubs-at-houston-astros-mlb-soobumim-photography/ What's the best way to fix this problem? Duplicate Page Titles?
I'm running a campaign report within SEOmoz & am getting 9 pages that appear on this report. They all happen to be our author pages www.example.com//author/admin We have multiple authors. Is there a proper way that I should take care of this? Also as a side note, I'm using Yoast Wordpress SEO plugin, is there a setting on their I should change that will fix this issue? Title tag - shorter = better?
Is it true that the shorter the Title tag is the more powerful the keywords in it are?

I know that the main keywords have to be at the beginning of the title but, having more words in your Title could dilute the effectiveness of your main keywords? Ex: Dallas limo service | Private car by SelectLimousine. Could the fact that I have a second part of my title affect the first part by diluting its value? I would like to rank first for Dallas car service but also for Dallas car service and Dallas limousine service. Is this good practice?0 -
Necessary to redirect non-www to www?
Hello All, I've read quite a bit on here and the Matt Cutts blog http://mattcutts.com/blog/seo-advice-url-canonicalization/ about non-www vs www. I''ve also read a few recent posts on here but still left a little confused. First, my site is PR 4. We don't have many links, but the ones we do have (including internal) point to the www.example.com. You can also get to our site by typing example.com and it will not switch to the www. version. Both versions have the PR4, I just want to make sure I'm not losing any PR or juice between the different versions. My question, would you advise 301 redirect to the www version? if so, I have Godaddy as our host, is it as simple as going into the hosting control and doing the redirect there?
