A few months ago, in hopes of a) helping new customers navigate the sometimes-arcane language used in the precious metals industry and b) earning some props from Google for making the site more user friendly, I talked the Powers-That-Be into allowing me to create a glossary with links from some unfamiliar terms in each product description and added appropriate <title>tages for each term.</p> <p>My question is: <strong>In the opinion of SEOMoz was this endeavor a brilliant, transformative SEO brainstorm—or just a waste of my time?</strong></p> <p>We haven't been running analytics, so we are flying blind.</p> <p>Here's the 411:<br /> <br />Website: www.goldmart.com<br />Glossary: www.goldmart.com/glossary</p> <p>A sample description: http://www.goldmart.com/1-oz-pamp-suisse-lunar-snake-gold-bar-9999-fine-in-assay.html</p></title>

Prob won't do much for SEO but will improve UX. Only way this would help is if other sites decide to link to your glossary and bring in more authority.
I've had clients who had nice glossary pages but they didn't improve traffic much (low inbound links and low keyword traffic).

MOZ Pro Has Not Helped Yet. What is Going On?
A month ago I started using MOZ and I improved my website significantly. I reduced the Crawl Issues to few of them, improved the sitemap, url, etc. Unfortunately, my organic search has not improved at all. At the same time one of my competitors has the same Domain Authority, near the same Page Authorizaty, relatively similar social media performance, slightly higher backlinks, same blog content, etc. BUT, they are better ranked by Alexa.com, Similarweb.com and appear on google in top 10 for many of the keywords I am not even in top50. What am I doing wrong?

I need some help...
I am completely perplexed here guys. I have accomplished all of the the things that the On- Page Analysis tool says that we need to perform as far as( Keyword laden page titles and webpages) yet the report comes back and gives the webpage a C and says that we still need to correct these issues. Hit by Panda - Google Disavow Help
Hi I hope you can help me A Website I manage has been hit hard by the Panda Update. I am really struggling to understand what is seen as a Spammy link. The Website use to be on page 1 for "fancy dress" now it isnt visable for that term at all and most other terms the site has dropped for. I have looked into what might have gone wrong and have removed several links , used the disavow tool 2-3 times and submitted re-consideration requests, but each time google informs me that they are still detecting unnatural links. Could somebody please take a look at our link profile www.partydomain.co.uk for "fancy dress" as an example and show examples of links you would consider that google might not like. It would also be good if anybody had any contacts in the UK that could help thanks Adam

Canonical Help?
This canonical thing is brand new to me and I'm trying to wrap my mind around it. Here is my situation: I use Wordpress. I am showing duplicate content with the following url's http://crosstrainingandfitness.com/online-workout-blog/ http://crosstrainingandfitness.com/online-workout-blog/page/2/ Would setting a canonical link solve this? If so, what do I put in the Canonical box for this category (online workout blog). I use Yoast's Wordpress SEO plugin. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Canonical tag help
Hi, We have a product which is marketed by affiliates . Affiliates send referrals to our sale page by adding their affiliate IDs to our product page like http://www.mysite.com/products.php?ref= 12345. We want to avoid the content duplication impression to Google by using canonical tags but we are not clear about its use. Should we use it on http://www.mysite.com/products.php ( actual page) or we should create temporary pages for each referral id i.e http://www.mysite.com/products.php?ref= 12345 and then add canonical tags to all those pages linking to proper page i.e http://www.mysite.com/products.php ?
