[HTML Gurus] Is the only nofollow = rel="nofollow"?
-
From my knowledge only way an HTML link is nofollow is using rel="nofollow".
I was wondering if you have a link , is there anything you can put OTHER than rel="nofollow" within the <a></a>tags that make a link nofollow?
-
as i say only the two options / well three including robots.txt to not index the page
-
Thanks Andy.
I was more curious in regards to the <a></a>tag.
-
correction the meta tag required index instructions too
NOINDEX would prevent search from seeing that page and nofollow the links -
-
page wide with the meta tag
not a perfect solution i know but its that or individually - i believe

Rel Conical - Mobile page
I have two pages that have essentially the same content, same page title etc. however one is the mobile version of the other. Is it appropriate to use the rel canonical tag with these two pages? So the pages are: www.example.com/product www.example.com/mobile/product If rel canonical is not appropriate what, if anything should I do?

Title, other html tags not showing on onpage reports
Either something is seriously wrong with my website or seomoz is not analyzing my site correctly. When I view the source code for my site (www.myfavoritetoys.com) I clearly see elements such as page title, h1 tags etc. However, on the onpage reports seomoz says these elements are missing. I am not seeing any meaningful data in the reports because it isn't analyzing correctly. Please help!

If I have too many on-page links can I reduce it with nofollow tags or do the links have to be removed?
On my site I have a top nav drop down menu but once visitors go to one particularly large subsection, that menu is repeated on the left for easier viewing. As a result, I shoot over 100 links on page. Can I put nofollow or noindex tags on the left side links and reduce my "official" on-page links count or do I have to actually eliminate some of the links? Thanks, Oak

Almost all pages showing under Notices Rel Canonical - why???
Hi, I'm just going through my latest crawl since my new site launch and havce noticed almost all of my websites pages are listed under the notices rel canonical section, Why is this? All pages have the unique pages titles followed by the site name in the title, for example: Product | Site name All pages have unique meta descriptions and content (although we only offer lots of differt varients of the same product). Is this something I should be worried about?
