PR Distribution Methods
-
Hi Friends,
I am having doubts in PR distribution methods. The details are given below,
First we will submit in http://www.prweb.com/ (PRWeb) then we will submit in our website.
In the PRWeb when we submit PR on the same day Google cache the page but when we submit same PR in the website it take 1 week to google to cache. it
Then we will distribute to free top 10 PR websites also. Any duplication problem will occur while following this method.
Your Feedback on this is important for me.
Thanks for you time.

thanks a lot Sorina.

As I previously said, since this content is not on your website I don't think it will cause you problems. But since I assume you are using this strategy to get backlinks, I don't think is really effective. I repeat: You may get some boost for a week or two when these links are indexed, but later, when they are flagged as coming from pages with duplicate content they will be worthless.

Thanks a lot Sorina for your reply.
One more doubt are given below, Please check it,
For example unique PR, I am submitting in the top PRWeb first and then I distribution in 15 top free PR websites with source link from PRWeb.
Any Problem by using above method.
Thanks for your time.

You risk getting penalized for duplicate content with this strategy.
You publish on PRWeb and that article is indexed. Then you publish on your site - when the content is crawled it will be seen as copied from the PRWeb, no matter if it is crawled the same day you publish it on your site or a week later.
You should use different content if you publish on multiple sites other way it is useless. You may get some boost for a week or two when these links are indexed, but later, when they are flagged as coming from pages with duplicate content they will be worthless.
As for your own website - don't do this mistake, you will attract a Panda penalty on it and it is a nightmare recovering from it.

High PR Web 2.0 sites
Hello, I was wondering if you could provide some advice on which are the best Top 20 high pr web 2.0 properties for content besides wordpress? Whilst i do intend to use them to further improve my SEO campaign I also intend to use readable content, that is to say, content that i have written and i feel is worthy of being read by interested parties. What are the top 20 to look at that would benefit an SEO campaign if used correctly (without abusing or being spammy). I can see lots of crappy ones out there but they all look spammy to me and im not really liking that.

Youtube no follow now! =( Any good PR Replacements?
Our youtube page was PR7 and passing on quite a bit of Pagerank to our site. I didn't think it turning nofollow would effect us much, but we've experienced a sitewide rankings drop on a newer ecommerce store. Anyone familiar with the youtube trick know of another good site for building Pagerank?

Root domain or subdomain when submitting to directories, also pr 3 and lower, is it bad to list to these directories?
Hello all, Should I use my root domain or sub domain when adding my site to local directories? I'm very new to this, so I just want to be sure, sub domains start with the www, right? I know all my listings should have the same NAP, and it makes sense to have the same root or sub domain listed as well, but I was wondering if I should try and help one type of domain if it starts to get a bad ratio of follow & no follow links. Also, do directories with a page rank of 3 or lower, or directories with a no follow link, bad for my sites rankings?

Which link building method is most effective?
I have been looking at different seo companies for link building. I found a ranked list on Topseos.com. Many of them offer the same services as offshore SEOs, namely: Article marketing blog comments forum comments/profiles bookmarking PR directories Link acquisition by contacting relevants sites and negotiating a fee for a link I know that custom link acquisition is the most effective, but it gets very expensive. And, you don't know what each link is going to cost you. Here are my questions: Of the other methods (other thank custom link acquisition), how would you rank their effectiveness? The other methods seem kinda gimmicky, is it worth the time/money? Have you seen sites rank well for competitve keywords using articles/bookmarking/blog comments/directories etc? How do you know i a company is going to them manually as they claim? as opposed to using some automated software. Thanks

High PR networks look like they are gaining traction - and working!
Let me put a disclaimer here that I do not use high PR networks in any of my seo endeavors. That being said, they have always looked attractive - especially post panda where in content links from high pr websites are valuable. I run seo campaigns for a large lot of websites & have been noticing my competition creeping past me who are using links from these networks to increase their positions for hard to attain keywords. Has anyone here had experience building links using these types of networks? It looks like they are under google's radar for now & are a great way to get some powerful links to your site. Any thoughts on if google will catch onto these types of links if they are properly protected (limited footprint, revolving links, unique content, etc.)? It's tough not to be at least interested in networks like this b/c of the results they provide.

Can too many high PR links can hurt SEO
I recently accuired about 10 PR 4- 5 for my website after getting mostly PR 1-2 for the past 6 months. After a couple of day my rankings not only didn't go up, but actually went down really drasticly for many keyphrases that i used to rank at the top 3. Should i keep building those high PR links in the same fast pace, should i slow down? Or maybe i should even those out with some low PR link?
