I use this brightlocal for this. It does cost money but if you only have one location it's only around $20 a month. They also have a 30 day free trial.

Google places account does not show rankings, just impressions for top 10 queries. Seomoz rankings show only local results for my keywords not for the ones I don t know.

Yes there is. Go to:
http://www.google.com/business/placesforbusiness/
type in the account you used in order to create your google places. and it will tell you the amount of impressions per keyword. This will give you a general idea of your rankings in places.
Then check your SEOMoz rankings because it delineates whether your ranking a places or a link in the SERP.

Im about to start helping a small business who has a facebook account but no website. Has anyone got any experience of getting a business ranking locally without a website? Google Places "Pending" out of options
I used to enjoy the first place position for google places/local, and 30 reviews in the old pre-google local. I am a painting contractor in Seattle. Then in April 2012 I moved my shop six miles to a new location. My reviews were dropped and places moved to "pending" when I changed my address. I am now in my 8th month pending approval for my google places page: Seattle House painting local page I have drilled down and exhausted every resource; including verification, having all my citations exactly in a row. All my review sites like Yelp and angie's list are address/info accurate. I used Yext to check all my local citations. I am set to do not show my address as Google indicates is best practice. There is nothing I have missed...but I am still "pending". Do I need to hire a David Mihm? I am very frustrated seeing one competitor using multiple addresses and having two listings. Google Places to Google+ Places - Strange Problem!
Hi I had a Google Places listed fully completed 100% and was ranking well in the local search results. However since it has been converted to a Google+ Local page it is not ranking like it used to and the main problem I can see is that the address is now incorrect on theGoogle+ local listing However it wont let me change the address? yet when I click on manage this page and view the listing under Google Places the address is correct? Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Does adding the city to your business name in a Places page help or harm Local SEO?
Hi, All! Another local SEO question... For one of our clients, the title on their Place page is <official business="" name=""><city>. Example: John's Sporting Goods Detroit. Now, most citations will say "John's Sporting Goods." Is having "Detroit" as part of the business name in Places problematic (NAP inconsistency) and we should remove it, or is it helpful for ranking for "sporting goods detroit" or is it neither?</city></official> Thanks! Google Places 3rd Party Reviews...
I have a client in the wedding industry who has quite a few awesome reviews on WeddingWire and a few other wedding resources. I've looked at the competition on Google Places, and Google counts their WeddingWire reviews. However, Google is not showing or counting my client's WeddingWire reviews, when in fact my client has better ratings and more reviews. Any ideas on why this might be or how I can get Google to include these reviews for my client? Thanks so much!!

Can different phone numbers affect your google places listing?
If you use a non-landline number e.g 0330 or 0845 etc does this affect your position within google places? Is it better to use a local number e.g 0208 (uk) And if you use a local number for your google places account but have a different number on your website will this have a negative effect?
